Welcome to St. Helen and The 4 Seasons Family Retreat! Our property is located on the Golden Eye Canal feeding into Lake St. Helen. Lake St. Helen is a 2400 acre All Sports Lake with great fishing and surrounded by nature not lake homes or cabins. The area itself is an all season location with beaches, boating, side by side and snowmobile trails. This is a phenomenal area to vacation year round in any season.

The home has brand new furnishings and bedding. There are 5 total bedrooms with two masters, one up and one down with attached en-suites. A total of 4 full bathrooms 2 up and 2 down makes this home an excellent place to stay with multiple families. The open floor plan that leads out to a large deck and Carolina room is perfect for gathering and spending time together. The kitchen is large and open with a unique concrete countertop, a peninsula for seating and is fully stocked with quality pots and pans if you desire to cook while on vacation. The living area is comfortable and large with plenty of seating and a 55” Smart TV to stream all of your favorite shows. The main level also has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.

If you are looking for a great place to stay that is completely renovated, clean, well stocked and with all new furnishings look no further than The Four Season Family Retreat!

We are conveniently located only 9 miles from the wedding venue, The Barn at Evergreen Farms. We are also very close to Houghton Lake, golf courses; The Dream, The Nightmare and Forest Dunes and many restaurants are within a 5-25 minute drive.

**Disclosure; there are exterior security cameras on the property, one located above the front door and the other on the back of the home facing the canal.

Not our first stay at this property in St Helen- we enjoy the ride in/out location for the great ORV trails in the area. The house accommodates our group of 8 easily, has great amenities and is always clean.

Property was in great shape, very clean and up to date. Being able to keep our boat docked at the house made the vacation so much easier and enjoyable. We like the area and come up often. We liked it so much we had booked the same spot for next year while we were still here.

Perfect Home

Our family of four and another family of four have vacationed together at a variety of VRBO’s and this was one of our favorites. The layout of the house was perfect! It was extremely clean. Probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location on the channel was perfect as well. We rented a boat from the marina one day and it was perfect to go back and forth between the lake and the home. Great location to visit Higgins Lake for the day too. We would definitely stay here again.

Having two master bedrooms was wonderful. All 9 of us had somewhere comfortable to sleep. Bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper which is unusual in a rentals. We would come back for sure!!

10/10 Having recently visited the place with friends and family, I can confidently say that it was an absolutely amazing experience. The rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, providing utmost comfort and convenience. The layout of the house was perfect for two different families, as it allowed for privacy and peaceful coexistence throughout the weekend. The beautiful location and size of the property pleasantly surprised us, making our stay even more enjoyable. Moreover, the proximity to The Barn of Evergreen venue was an added advantage for us. As we were traveling back-and-forth to the barn, the convenience of our accommodation with the vrbo was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend booking your next trip here. A clean and comfortable place

It is a clean and well maintained house. It suited our needs well with 6 adults in our group. We had no problems with any of the appliances, furniture, equipment, or anything else during our stay. We'll look for this house again if we return to Saint Helen.

Beautiful

This home is so perfect! My family and I stayed there for the second time in July. It had just the right amount of space for the 7 of us to stay and have fun. We rented a pontoon boat, and went boating and fishing each day, and we didn't let some rain get in the way! We really enjoyed our stay there. It is clean and updated and really nice. I hope we come back soon!

Perfect fishing setup

We have come here 2 years in a row. Setup is perfect for our blue gill fishing trip. Tie up the boats 25 feet from the back deck. Roomy and clean.

Perfect Getaway

We had a group of 9 and the house had everything we needed for a wonderful family reunion. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. You can park your boat right out back. We will be back for certain.

VRBO for sons wedding

My son’s wedding was in the area and we wanted to feel at home while we were there. The house was exactly as advertised. It’s really a beautiful home that was clean and laid out very well. 4 bedrooms upstairs and one master suite on the mail level. Four bathrooms was very convenient with everyone getting ready for the wedding. The host was professional and respectful. Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area.

Great Experience

If you are planning a golf trip to the Dream and/or Nightmare , I Highly recommend this property! House was in a great location - quick 15 min drive, it was clean and everything was updated and new, and the sleeping arrangements worked well for the group we had. The bonfire pit was a great touch for a late night hangout, and the back porch being right on the canal was very relaxing and calming. Will be coming back again to this location - thanks to the host for a great stay!
