Restful Retreat

We stayed here Monday-Friday as we explored the area around Santa Fe. Our days were busy and we loved returning to our rental each afternoon for some rest and a peaceful retreat. The kitchen was well equipped and the kitchen/ dinning area was full of light each morning. The table was large and perfect for playing games in the evening. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area in the back. The living room was a little dark, but it was perfect for streaming a movie in the evening. We were surprised to receive our check in instructions to find that toilet paper, paper towels, and other basic essentials would only be supplied in amounts for the first 24 hours and we’d need to bring our own for the remainder of our stay. As we were traveling lightly in convertibles this was a small challenge to have to pack household supplies. In reality, we had most everything we needed fully supplied but were frustrated that we had to make room for something we didn’t need. It also would help to know ahead of time what kind of coffee maker was on site to be prepared for making coffee each morning. These are property management and listing issues, not a problem with the property.The other surprise (both good & not so good) was that the property is quite hidden away with no straightforward access on narrow gravel roads. We chose to approach it as an adventure but it should be in the listing.

This property felt like the old Santa Fe that I grew up in. It was a wonderful place of quiet and respite during a large family gathering. We would definitely return!

The property was perfectly situated for my wife her friend who are artists. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to surrounding areas.

Perfect hangout spot

We really enjoyed this house and will likely see if it's available for any future stays in Santa Fe. It was clean and comfortable, with a relaxed but luxurious vibe, very tasteful. It had high-quality towels and linens (something I always notice and appreciate) and also was stocked with nice, cruelty-free bath products, which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen had a full range of equipment and cookware. The neighborhood is pretty and quiet, and the back deck and yard are fully private. You do have to receive and return the keys at the management office instead of having a lockbox or keyless check-in, but that turned out to be easy, fast, and not far from the house, so no big deal. We remarked to each other several times throughout our long weekend about how great a choice the house was.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was as well equipped and very comfortable. An outdoor bbq grill was advertised and we planned for that but when we arrived No Grill. That was disappointing. The parking for 2 vehicles was a bit challenging but we managed. Knowing the things we would stay here again.

Great place!

Beautiful artwork throughout, great location off of Canyon Road. Very clean, well appointed, thoughtful touches throughout. Loved the radiant heated floors and the clawfoot bathtub!

Blankets and bedding

The home itself was very nice and cozy. The parking was limited. The snow was very deep and there was no snow shovel or accessible tools to clear a pathway to the house. There was fur on the extra blankets in the armoire and on the bedding. All in all, I would stay there again.

Cute bungalow perfect for 2 people. Love the radiant heating. Would be nice to have reading lamps in living room, and to stocking the kitchen with very basics such as pepper, sugar, olive oil would be appreciated. We bought these items and left them for the next guest. The front bedroom was very dusty, especially the bed cover. And curtains. Could not sleep in that bed. Knives are very dull.

Perfect for our needs

We loved this place. It is adorable and has a wonderful layout, a delightful little covered patio, comfortable beds and an adequately supplied kitchen. We prepared a few meals in the kitchen and I would have liked a bigger stove and a better selection of pots/pans but we got the job done. Mostly, we loved the location because we were close enough to many restaurants and sights that we could walk. There are hills and the streets are not paved so they are dusty, but we enjoyed being in the sunshine, looking at the neighborhood houses and not having to always use the car. Others have commented on the house being difficult to find, but, using GPS, we didn't have any trouble finding it. We gave it 3 stars for cleanliness because we felt like it had not have been vacuumed before we arrived. We would not hesitate to stay here next time we visit Santa Fe.

Beautiful Santa Fe Home

What a gorgeous home. We were surprised to see all the beautiful artwork and furniture. The tile floors were lovely with colorful area rugs. Very comfortable and quiet. Interesting neighborhood, historic adobe looking homes. Very nice we would come again.

Perfect Retreat- Almost

The house is welcoming, cozy and charming. We loved the sense of privacy while sitting on the patio, enjoying the singing birds and blooming flowers. The beds were comfortable, and the bath towels were thick and fluffy. We stayed during a heat wave, 90 degrees plus. The house stayed cool with the exception of the kitchen and dining room. Some light blocking window shades would reduce the temperature is this area tremendously. The ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work. Bring coffee, sandwich bags, aluminum foil, etc., none is supplied. The house can be challenging to find. It's located in a lovely historic area with a labyrinth of narrow, winding dirt roads. There aren't any streetlights, so finding your way back to the house at night is challenging! This is the 1st VRBO rental that I have to stop to pick up the keys; this is inconvenient after driving for 8 hours

Great property and location. No AC was a surprise but we had unusually hot weather. Company provided extra fans, which was nice! Would definitely stay at this property again.

The quintessential Santa Fe experience.

Location of the remodeled new Adobe Home was in historic East Santa Fe. Lots of lovely’gentrification in the neighborhood . Easy drive all location in and around Santa Fe. The home was so well done with 4 fireplaces, lovely private courtyard, great kitchen and large dining. SO COMFORTABLE and well appointed. After 5 trips to Santa Fe this will be my destination above the rest.

Clean, Cozy, Beautiful!

This home was the perfect base for our girls weekend in Santa Fe! We had an early dinner both nights we were in town and spent the rest of those evenings talking for hours in the cozy living room.
