Pinebrook Retreat - Relaxation and adventure all year long!

Welcome to Pinebrook Retreat, located on 12 acres with exclusive neighborhood access to Dolly Sods, in the gated community of Old Timberline in Davis, WV. This beautifully furnished and fully equipped home offers three levels of living, four spacious decks, three fireplaces, one car garage plus parking for an additional 5+ cars, and plenty of private, wooded outdoor space. The home is just minutes from Timberline Mountain and Canaan Valley Resort, where you can enjoy four seasons of outdoor adventure such as hiking, skiing, snow tubing, ice skating, mountain biking, free outdoor concerts, horseback riding, and more. If staying in is more your style, enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of complimentary wine on one of the 4 decks. The home offers a well appointed game closet, dart board, mini-shuffle board, Nintendo Switch docking station and controllers, an extensive collection of DVDs, and many outdoor yard games. Come enjoy all the beauty and adventure the mountains of WV have to offer. Pinebrook Retreat has all you need and more!

Old Timberline-
A private, gated community located at the bottom of Timberline Mountain. You will have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake, that offer fishing and kayaking (swimming is prohibited). There are numerous hiking trails within the community and direct trail access to Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.

**4-wheel drive required in winter**

Note: One week before the arrival date we will send the Timberline Rental Authorization Form to be completed and printed to check-in at the gatehouse and receive parking passes.

Rec Room with dart board, tv, nest chair that converts to a full bed, and access to lower deck
Queen sized sleeper sofa
Electric fireplace
Garage access
Washer/Dryer

You won’t have to worry about packing or buying household goods. All linens, extra blankets/pillows, paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc), laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid/tablets, garbage bags, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and much more are provided at no extra charge.

This place is beautiful. The host checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. So clean and welcoming and a Christmas tree was the special touch for our family Christmas get-away. Would definitely go back.

Wow, where do we begin, from first entrance to the home we were amazed ! Out stay at Pinebrook Retreat was just wonderful from beginning to end. Literally anything you need is provided by the owners. We had everything we could possibly need and MORE! The game room alone was hours of fun for our family- we checked them alllll out! Then there are the endless beautiful views, incredible location, privacy, comfortable beds, I could go on and on. You can see the love and attention to small details the homeowners put into the property from the heated bathrooms to the luxurious bar stools it was like a week of being spoiled that’s for sure. We even looked up the bar stool brand for our own home. There was an incident that occurred to no fault of the homeowner and they were quick to respond AND help, letting us know they truly cares about the wellbeing of our family. Thank you again for a truly memorable stay! This was a core memory trip for sure.

A wonderful winter getaway

This is an amazing house especially for a winter excursion, we had the coziest time over a weekend where we were lucky enough to get snow! The house is beautiful and very well thought out. Our kids and families loved it.

Beautiful home for a get away!

Amazing space with great amenities for a family gathering. Comfy beds and linens, well stocked kitchen, gas fireplaces were awesome, dining room table and bench were super for a gathering space, puzzles and games were fun, scenic views from every window, porches looked great as we stayed in winter. Cute decor. Excellent reply time from host.

Best Experience!!!

The couple that runs this rental really knows what they are doing. They have covered everything you could think of. Fully stocked kitchen (bring own food of course), cleaning supplies, bedding, towels, game closet, movies, books, personal necessities, laundry detergent, dish soap……it’s all there. There were also just so many little things the owners did to make this a cozy rental that feels like home. The owner was also easy to contact and very responsive. We had 14 people in the house and we had plenty of space. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Family reunion

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 16. We appreciated all that was available for children - books, movies, Nintendo, etc. Having several gathering spaces was great! You thought of everything! We enjoyed the nearby adventures - Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, etc. Thanks so much!

Great stay

We had a blast at the house. It kept our 5 kids ages 5 and under entertained during a rainy weekend. The house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great Place for Skiing at Timberline

Extremely well stocked and plenty of space for a big group. Also had some lovely nice surprises. My group travels to WV every year for skiing/snowboarding and this was the first time we got a place without a hottub which made some of my group members sad. However, after staying there, the group agreed that this is the best place we have stayed in after 4 years. If coming in the winter, you definitely will be safer using a 4WD vehicle. The driveway was fairly steep.

Very Nice Property

This was a very nice propery. It had everything we needed. However, the property listing stated it had direct trail access to Dolly Sods. The gated community had access to Dolly Sods, but not the property itself. Access to Dolly Sods was about a 10 minute drive from the house. Had I known the property did not have direct trail access to Dolly Sods access, I am not sure I would have booked the the property as we are a hiking goup in the area to hike Dolly Sods.

Annual family vacation

We loved our stay at Pinebrook Retreat! The house is gorgeous, well planned/stocked, and had so many extra touches that amazed us. There was plenty of room to accommodate our 4 households. Jeremy is very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help us locate a few forgotten items, which we were very thankful for.

Awesome house!

This house is beautiful and it's extremely well equipped and comfortable and served us well. We are a group of adult cousins just looking for a place to hang out and visit and this house was perfect for us. Jeremy is very responsive and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.
