Mountain Home w/Amazing Views - 12 Min. to Durango - Central AC - EV Charger

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,800 Square foot home ("Durango Valley View") is located in the Animas Valley just 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort to the north. 

The new home features numerous amenities including central AC, large screen TV with cable and gas fireplace in the Main Living Space along with a well-appointed kitchen that is open to the living room and dining room. Our favorite part of the home is the deck upstairs with comfy outdoor furniture with awesome views of the red rocks across the valley - great for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There is also a hiking trail adjacent to the home and the large back yard is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. Both bedrooms also have TVs (Streaming only).

The renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf Course along with PJs Market and a great liquor store are just across highway 550 a mile from the house. In the garage, there is a Charge Point Level 2 Electric Vehicle charger rated for 50 amps and will charge up to 30mi per hour.

The home is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets or emotional support animals.

Great Stay

While we were there we rode the train, did some shopping and ate at James Ranch, Hermosa Creek Grill, & the Durango Diner. Would definitely stay here again!

we were only at this property in the mornings and at night, we primarily came up there to ride motorcycles. The house was as described, very nice and well equipped. The garage was very big and great for putting both our motorcycles. Adequate driveway room for two 6 x 12 aluminum utility trailers and two trucks. Best of all, the host was extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had, that’s huge! also met the neighbors and several folks walking nearby trail and everyone in the area was very nice.Thank you for a great place to stay. attached a couple of pictures taken from the balcony patio, which was very nice and relaxing.

Great location

We loved this quiet house outside of town with views of the mountains. It was conveniently located near a grocery store. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.

Great decor; house was in excellent condition. The deck was perfect for watching the sunlight on the mountains and the bucks grazing right outside our door.

Great layout/beautiful home. Located about a 11 minute car ride to downtown Durango. Nice views and hiking trails right from back of property.Only negatives were the very low water pressure in master bathroom shower & the bathroom sink faucets were located too far back from sink bowl causing the sink top to get wet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly, my experience was a little different than the numerous times that I have rented multiple properties from you. The property was not as clean as in the past and needs a visit from the exterminator. There was no coffee packet like in the past and there was a shampoo/soap package in the downstairs bathroom but nothing in the master upstairs.The house is nice but the prep was a little lax this time.
