Très bonne location

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé il n’y a rien à dire sur le logement . L’appartement est très équipé et Marianne est une personne très agréable . Le seul petit bémol serait la qualité du wifi mais la 4g passe très bien . Je recommande sans hésitation .

Unser Sommerurlaub Juli 2022

Wir haben jetzt zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung La Mesange verbracht. Sie ist sehr großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zusammen mit dem schönen Garten ist es ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, zur Begrüßung gab es herrliche selbstgemachte Cassis-Marmelade! Die Lage ist gerade für Hundebesitzer perfekt. Schön ruhig gelegen und in kurzer Entfernung die stillgelegte alte Bahnstrecke „Voie Verte“. Die haben wir für gemütliche und schattige Gassirunden genutzt. Die bäuerliche ursprüngliche Landschaft mit den von Hecken umgrenzten Weideflächen für Rinder und Pferde hat uns besonders gefallen.

Lovely apartment in the country

Marianne was such a great hostess. She went out of her way for us and we truly appreciated her kindness. The apartment is well-appointed and very clean. The bed was comfortable; bathroom was great and kitchen very nice.

Endroit idyllique

Séjour parfait, accueil des plus chaleureux, le calme absolu. Région magnifique, voie verte à proximité et si en plus vous y ajoutez le soleil…..tout était au top, une certitude nous nous reverrons. Merci.

Sehr angenehm - FEWO und Vermieter

Die Ferienwohnung ist echt prima - schön eingerichtet und hübsch gemacht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haustiere sind erlaubt. Die Vermieter sind mehrsprachig und weltoffen, was die Kommunikation sehr erleichtert. Die FEWO liegt sehr nahe zu einem überregionalen Radweg und nahe zu Cluny, wo man alles für den täglichen Bedarf kaufen kann und gut essen gehen kann. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Empfehlenswert!

Gîte remarquable à tous points de vue. Le logement est magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très agréable à vivre. Il donne sur un jardin clos qui rappelle les jardins anglais. Marianne et Peter vous accueillent très chaleureusement et vous donnent toutes les astuces utiles à votre séjour. Une adresse à garder précieusement!

Sehr schönes Domizil in einer ehemaligen Mühle mit geschmackvollem kleinen Garten. Ländliche und sehr ruhige Lage nahe Cluny. Ideal, um das südliche Burgund zu erkunden. Die Vermiete sind kommunikativ und sehr nett. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le moulin est très proche de Cluny parfait pour se rendre à Equivallee. Accueil chaleureux de Marianne . Et le logement était impeccable.

Wonderful stay and great host

Perfect Stop

I chose Moulin de Merze because I was traveling to Uzes, via Burgandy, and I had my little dog who had just taken his first transatlantic flight. I thought the quiet and the green space would be just what we all needed, and I was right! We booked the 2 bedroom apartment - ground level, lots of luggage- and it was perfect. The apartment was as clean as could be, the grounds were lovely, beds comfortable, and wifi worked great. Who could ask for more. The location is excellent - minutes from Cluny and it's sights, as well as the Carrefore; Tournus, my personal favorite, and the chateau at Cormont (sp.). It was just what we needed.

Lovely apartment, lovely location, lovely hosts and generally a really great stay

We arrived late afternoon for our 12 night stay to be welcomed by Marianne and shown around the apartment. Well equipped, comfortably furnished and in superb location this apartment is one of the best we have stayed in in France (or England!). Lovely to have a good sized shower with brilliant water pressure - all too often it's a let down but this one certainly wasn't. Our hosts, Marianne and Peter were both welcoming, very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were pointed in the direction of places to go, things to do, and good places to eat - very important as we like good food - and certainly were not disappointed by some of the restaurants we visited. We explored the local area on foot, by car and by borrowing the bicycles provided for guests to use. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone - for just a long weekend or a two week stay - it was really good. A big thank you to Marianne and Peter for welcoming us and providing such a good base for our holiday. Best wishes Keith & Jayne.

Ruhige Ferienwohnung und sehr nette Gastgeber

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr ruhig zwischen Cluny und Taize. Für uns war besonders der Fahrradweg direkt hinter der Ferienwohnung sehr praktisch. Auf diesem sind ausgedehnte Ausflüge abseits der Straße möglich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft empfehlen wir gern weiter.

Rundum gelungene Unterkunft

Marianne hat in Ihrem Haus bei Cluny drei Ferienwohnungen mit allem Komfort eingerichtet, sodass es ihren Gästen an nichts fehlt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind wirklich sehr bequem. Wir hatten die Erdgeschosswohnung und konnten den Garten nutzen. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir unter dem Sonnenschirm am Gartentisch eingenommen.

Appartement idéalement situé...

... pour qui veut découvrir les diverses facettes de la region avec la ville de Cluny et sa célèbre abbaye au centre : les alentours des célèbres caves et vignobles de Pouilly et de Fuisse avec l'ascension de la roche de Solutre et la roche vineuse d'un côté et les petits villages médiévaux avec leurs petites échoppes de l'autre. Promeneurs et cyclistes pourront profiter des km de voie verte toute proche pour découvrir un paysage de campagne bucolique. Les restaurateurs alentours proposent de belles tables avec une cuisine soignée et variée. L'appartement, avec une décoration recherchée (j'ai adoré la déco du plafond de la chambre) est d'une propreté remarquable. Il donne sur un petit patio privatif agréablement ombragé et très bien exposé. Enfin Marianne, notre hôtesse, a assurément le sens de l'hospitalité et du contact. Durant notre trop court séjour nous avons apprécié nos différents échanges, qui ont rendu notre séjour plus riche et plus chaleureux. Vous aurez compris que nous recommandons sans réserve. Originelle Wohnung in idyllischer Umgebung

Wir haben Marianne und Peter als herzliche, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber erlebt, die uns mit einem umfassenden Welcome-Paket wertvolle Infos zur Region bereit gestellt haben. Die Wohnung liegt absolut ruhig, ist originell, praktisch und durchdacht eingerichtet und bietet viele besonders hübsche Details, wie vom Künstlerehepaar selber designte und restaurierte Bilder und Möbel. Auch das Farbkonzept ist klug durchdacht, die harmonische Kombination von Alt und Neu faszinierend und raffiniert. Ganz toll fanden wir, dass wir während der heissen Tage den Garten frei nutzen durften, und auch die drei Katzen, die hier teilweise eine neue Bleibe gefunden haben, haben wir gleich ins Herz geschlossen. Ein wunderbares Zuhause in einer kulturell reichen und landschaftlich reizvollen Region mit guter Infrastruktur und entspannten, freundlichen Menschen.

L'appartamento è spazioso, arredato con gusto e dotato di ogni comodità. Il contesto è bucolico, in mezzo ai campi e al silenzio. Base ideale per Cluny e il sud della Borgogna. Nei dintorni Taize, Cormatin e Brancion. Tournus si trova a 30 minuti di auto. Autun e Beaune si trovano a un'ora di auto.

Superschön, sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnung

Bestausgestattete, sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Ferienwohnung, in grüner, ländlicher Lage, Rinder und Pferde vor der Haustür. Gut gelegen für Ausflüge zu Sehenswürdigkeiten des südlichen Burgund. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und persönlich. Wir und unser Hund haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Here you will find an oasis of greenery and relaxation. Furthermore, the Mill of Merze is an ideal starting point to discover the treasures of Burgundy, to visit Cluny and its famous abbey or to enjoy a walk or a bike tour on the "Voie Verte", a 350 km "Green Trail" along an old railway line. Alternatively, you can visit nearby wineries and historical sites in the area or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of this placid place.

Cluny and its Abbey: A city with many medieval, especially Romanesque buildings.

Cormatin: A beautiful, restored castle from the early 17th century with a French garden and labyrinth.

Taizé : A village well-known for its international ecumenical gatherings that is visited by tens of thousands of young people every year.

Chapaize : The beautifully restored church of St. Martin de Chapaize from the 11th century is also very popular with tourists.

"The Green Trail": A 350 km long, well paved and signposted "green trail" along an old railway line next to beautiful meadows, forests and scenic landscapes – perfect for hiking, Nordic walking, cycling or inline skating... The closest access the "The Green Trail" is only 150 meters away from the Mill of Merzé.
Hiking: There are 3 great hiking trails that run to or through Cluny (GR76, GR76C, GR76D), with the "Green Walks" especially recommended (more information at the Cluny Tourist Office).
