Welcome to Cottonwood Retreat! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront home. Spacious three bedroom house with two full bathrooms directly on Indian Lake. The home comes with a free boat slip so you can rent a boat and keep it just steps from your door.

You'll have everything you need from fire pits to barbeques to enjoy your restful weekend at the lake.

The homes fits 8 comfortably and you will have direct water views as well as boat access to Indian Lake. Unfortunately, this is not a pet friendly rental. If a pet is found at the property a $500 dollar fine will be assessed.

Lake stay

Enjoyed our stay and the location was nice. Beds could have been a little more comfortable. Needs an a/c unit in each room. Was tough to sleep at night the doors closed. Good thing was we had a nice weather week.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay despite the dead ants along the walls. A little pricey for a mobile home location. My sister and her family stayed in an upscale home on the water a bit farther down the road and the cost was the same. We were recommended this place by my brother-in-law because the cost was lower, but when we booked it the price was more than double for each night. We did enjoy our stay though.

Aug at the lake

Fishing trip. The house was good but fishing was not. We caught a few but not like we usually do on the other side of the lake.

Reunion weekend

We met some college friends and their kids for a reunion weekend we do yearly. The cottage was spacious and clean with plenty of yard room to play. Dominic was very prompt on answering my questions, perfect for our weekend!

Amazing

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the neighbors, complaining about everything possible and constantly calling the property manager instead of addressing us personally...Not really fit for anyone under 60 because of the area but home and view are beautiful..

Nice family time

The property was perfect for our family weekend getaway. The house was just as described we loved the large area outside to hangout. The only downfall was the lake water condition. There is so much algae in the water we didn’t feel comfortable swimming. Obviously not the property owners fault. And I could have asked more questions prior to booking to find out more info. He was very quick to respond to any questions We would recommend to family and friends.

How was our stay

No luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field. The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family.

Barpenson weekend!

We had an amazing stay! Place is great. Enough room for all of us. There was 6 of us. Great place to launch kayaks out. Neighbors were super friendly and helpful.. Dominic is an amazing on top of it host. 10/10 repeat stay!

Perfect little getaway!

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay after visiting the Ohio caverns, and this was perfect! The property was directly on the lake with the most beautiful view of the sunset on the water! We will definitely stay again, but we will bring bath towels, extra TP, and a trash bag or two, and we will rent a boat for the weekend once the lake is cleared up!

Our stay

House was very clean. Enough room for 6 people. Boat dock very convenient. A little hard to find that first day. It would be nice to have hand rails for patio steps and utility room steps.

Beautiful View!

Working with Dominic was wonderful, any questions was answered very quickly. We had 4 adults and 2 teens and had plenty of space for all of us and the beds were comfy! The view was amazing with lots of outdoor space, we enjoyed the fire pit every night! The location is very accessible to the boat launch, store for necessities, firewood and bait shops, and good food at local restaurants!!
