The yard is perfect for yard games and the lakeside fire pit is a family favorite after sun down! 

Enjoy the use of two canoes, two kayaks, two bikes, and a paddle boat during your stay! We provide crisp luxury linens, Turkish spa towels, and premium toiletries offering a hotel experience within this cozy lake lodge.

At Serene Quarters we offer 24/7 support through our front desk! No matter the question or the time, we are here to ensure your stay is amazing!

Located on Pine Point of Leech Lake, the cabin is close to everything the area has to offer including restaurants such as Shingobee on the Bay and The Merit, golf at Tianna Country Club, coffee and breakfast at Walker Bay Coffee Co, fishing in Traders Bay, trails, and so much more! It is a perfect Northern Minnesota retreat!

After booking, you will receive a Guest Accommodation Agreement to be signed and returned within 48 hours to finalize your reservation.

Family trip

Really had everthjng we needed, from a well supplied kitchen, ample sleeping space to fun things for the kids with the game room and water toys. Had a great time in a very nice spacious cabin.

Our family of 10 loved this property. Beautiful beach towels were provided for everyone in our party. We loved the views from every room of the lake. The two upper bedrooms opened to a bug free screened porch. We loved the privacy of the large yard and the kids played ping pong and foosball on rainy days in the boat house game room.it was perfect for our family and we hope to return.

Ice fishing getaway

This property was absolutely perfect for our group. The sleeping accommodations were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and dishwater, great social gathering space, and we even used the boathouse game room. All in all, a great stay and we will be back!

Great location and beautiful home in Walker

This property was exactly as listed. PLENTY of space, well stocked, great flat yard, great location and comfortable beds and furniture. The location was great and easy to get into town by boat or by car. The property management team was very responsive and helpful. The house is located between two family owned resorts - we visited both for bait, etc. and the people there are so friendly and helpful. Be sure to take the 2 minute walk to the Loaded Loon - good food and they have bingo, meat raffle etc to add to the fun. Will definitely book here again - highly recommend.

Fishing Trip

Great location on Leech Lake! It was nice having a boat lift so that we didn't have to trailer the boat every day. The cabin and game room could have been cleaner, it didn't appear that anyone had been there in a couple of weeks before our arrival.

Serene quarters

Perfect for our family. Lots of room, nice flat lot, canoe, paddle board, ping pong table and swing sets were a hit. Property was as described. Only hick up was the door locks. We got locked out twice. Owners responded in a timely manner and reset doors

Walleye Opener

This secluded property was perfect to hold a small reunion of Brothers and Cousins. The Lake was beautiful, the property was perfect and the town really isnt too far. The process was simple, the rules are just as common as your own household and the community was amazing! If fishing, listen to the locals they know more than you. Who would have though walleye fishing at 4 to 8 feet was the right location. Will definitely consider a second visit soon!

Family Trip

Everyone in the family enjoyed our stay at Serene Quarters. The Kitchen/dining and living room area was nice and spacious. The kids and teens loved fishing off the pier. There were a number of games to keep the kids occupied when we weren't on the boat on the lake. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all nice and spacious. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit a couple of nights - and it was great that the fire wood was supplied. Just two things - my daughter slept on the futon in the lower level and it would have been good to have a blind on the door window - the sun was bright in the morning, and Walker is a 25 minute drive away, longer than we expected but we got used to it.

Awesome property

The property and location is even better than the description and pictures. It is an ideal location for a family vacation. Lots of sleeping spaces, lots of room to be together OR spread out within the house. And awesome outdoor spaces including a level lot right on the lake. Very clean and well-kept. Very comfortable, nicely decorated, and all the comforts of home! The property management company is very responsive and courteous - quickly guided us through several issues! But beware that based on the nature of their business that their non-Vrbo email (such as check-in instructions) go directly to spam. Also, check-in instructions not sent within 48 hours as specified - we would suggested calling them and confirming all necessary info well in advance! On the phone they are awesome - digitally they are challenged!!

Weekend Fishing Trip

Rented out this place for a weekend fishing trip on leech. Great place. Really clean and spacious exactly like the pictures. It wasn't mentioned if they had a grill on the property, so I brought one just in case, but they do have one that runs on propone. Honestly the best thing which I was kind of worried about if my group should of brought ourself are household consumables i.e.. toilet paper, paper toilets, hand soap etc. They had it all supplied for us. Appreciated the stash of board games too. The only thing I was disappointed with which is why I took off one star. Was that the power cord to for the boat lift was short and couldn't reach the outlet and that the outlet itself seemed to be bad. We could not charge our electronics on our boat. Which was a big deal for our trip since we're on a boat most of the day. Besides that though great place.

Minnesota family vacation

We stayed for a week at the Cozy Cabin. The property is nice and fit our family well. The furniture in the house was comfortable and we had plenty of space for everyone. The owner was very responsive when we had trouble with the dryer not working. A new one was replaced the next day. The number provided for service on the information at the cabin never did call us back when we tried to contact them. I am not sure if this is something that needs to be updated if they are no longer providing service. I will say the house could use a deep cleaning. There were bugs in some of the light fixtures and on the windowsills and the small amount of carpet in the house needs to be cleaned. They should also have someone check and adjust the outside doors on the house and garage because they do not close securely unless they are deadbolted. There is a kayak paddle boat, canoe, etc., and while all are functional, they are well used. We did not use the fish cleaning house or the bicycles that are on the property. Kids enjoyed the swing set and the large yard to play in. I think if a few maintenance items were completed on the property, this would be a 5 star place to stay.

Here's the good:Plenty of space for 7 adults,nice view of lake, nice patio area, screened in porch, good furniture, big dining table, great bath and beach towels, fish cleaning house, easy access to dock, beds fairly comfortable, plenty of yard area, plenty of parking.Here's the not so good:Toaster had bread stuck in it from previous guests & we had to unplug it to get it to pop up.The upstairs shower had a visible hair ball in the drain. (Multiple light bulbs burned out. Bags of garbage left in the garage when we arrived, which we thought was causing the terrible odor, but I think it must be a dead rodent.The ping pong paddles were worn, the leg kept falling off the foosball table. The fire table on the patio wouldn't stay lit. We had 1 working roku remote for 4 TVs. I spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get it fixed then someone showed up the next day to try and fix it and left us with 1 working remote and one worn out remote that worked sometimes. We got 1 new one a few days later only because they brought some draino to drop off to clear the shower drain.. The screened in porch was great and a few of us readers spent alot of time there, but I had to vacuum on the first day because the cobwebs were so thick it was gross. One screen was torn around one whole side and 1 had a big hole in it. There was no salt in the softener. No easy way into water (steps would be nice). I would love to stay here again but it needs some maintenance and a better cleaning crew.

Lots of fun for everyone

We stayed for a long weekend with 8 adults and 3 kids. The 4 bedrooms worked great. The bunkbed room fit the parents with 3- and 5-year-old. There was a cot/mattress that fit in another bedroom so the other child could sleep in the downstairs bedroom with his parents. Bedrooms were roomy. Some (all?) beds had a thin memory foam layer on top, which some liked, and others were a little uncomfortable with. There is plenty of space in the kitchen/dining room and 2 living rooms for a group of 11. Anyone wanting a quiet or separate area could find it. The kids loved the large yard, playground, sandy space, and game room, paddle boat, many toys found in bins. Kitchen had lots of dishes, utensils, pans, and small appliances like crockpots, Keurig and Mr Coffee makers. TVs with Roku were a little hard to figure out, but we managed to screen share from Apple Iphones on the lower level TV. We couldn’t find split firewood by the garage for the firepit, maybe because we were there 1-2 wks after snow/ice melted. We used the small amount found by the inside fireplace, since that fireplace isn’t to be used except for winter months. The house was packed with helpful things like games, books, kids toys, extra blankets/sheets, hand/bath/laundry/dish soap, soft toilet paper, towels. Lots of outside chairs.It was nicely up-to-date, and clean, except there was a strong musty/oily odor in the outside game room and garage. We opened the windows in the game room so we could use it. Didn’t use garage.

Overall our family had a great time and made the best of it. We were just disappointed with some key features that did not match what was represented in the listing. Pros:Beach towels nicely displayed for use. Large yard. Large dining room table was fantastic for our family. House Space was great and didn't feel over crowded. Firewood supplied was a really nice touch. Cons: Sadly this is where our disappointment comes in. Stove on right side did not work, so having 10 people made cooking difficult as I only had 2 small burners. Only 1 fridge was very difficult for drinks, bait. Food for 7 days for 10 people, closest gas station is 20 minutes away. Dock, they had a lift for a fishing boat, but we had 2 boats and there are no cleats on the dock to tie up a 2nd boat - this made no sense because screwing in some cleats to the dock is pennies on cost. This was a lot of time consuming efforts trying to rig this all together. Everything in play room was broken the air conditioner, ping pong table, paddles etc. The paddle board had a broken fin so unusable, kayak, paddle board were all so dirty and covered in so much debris. Playset also was just covered in cobwebs, bird poop, debris we had to take the hose to spray it off for my 3yr granddaughter. Yard was not mowed. Front patio and chairs dirty and not set up for use. Now when I say dirty, I get this is a "cabin" and things are not going to be shiny - but it was just poorly maintained.Overall for 4300 I would expect more.

Family getaway on the lake

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend, as an extended family of 9. The property management company was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. The property was at it appeared in the pictures, and a number of nice touches included, like the laundry detergent, dish soap, chopped wood- things that are very useful but not always included. It is a very remote area, with even the nearest gas station at least a 15 min drive away, so do make sure you have everything you need before you get there.

Beautiful cabin on Leech Lake!

Very nice cabin on Leech Lake. Quiet location close to local resorts. The kitchen/living area was big enough for our group of 10. We took advantage of the fire table, swingset, kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. Beautiful view of the lake from the dining room and outdoor chairs! It’s about a 20 minute drive to downtown Walker which is a cute town with a brewery, coffee shop, shopping, etc. Recommend the area and this particular cabin! We were also able to catch a few fish! It really only sleeps 10 in my opinion as one of the beds is a toddler bed (which my daughter used) and the futon is nice but unfortunately in the main living room. I think it would be better situated in the lower living room for privacy.
