Dear Eric and Pauline, thank you so much for your wonderful review and, above all, for the pleasure of having you with us for such a long and memorable stay. You were truly exceptional guests: warm, thoughtful, communicative and genuinely curious to discover Lake Garda and the surrounding area in the fullest sense. It was a pleasure to hear about your excursions, your visits to the nearby cities and even your days in Milan, and especially to see how much you enjoyed making Salò your home base during this long Italian holiday. Getting to know you personally was just as rewarding for us. Your kindness, consideration and easy communication made every interaction a pleasure. We were also deeply impressed by the extraordinary care you took of the apartment throughout your stay, treating it with an attention and respect that are far from ordinary and leaving it in truly impeccable condition. Knowing that you are yourselves experienced and highly appreciated hosts in the United States makes your generous comments particularly meaningful to us. It was a real pleasure to exchange experiences as fellow hosts, and even more so to see that what began as a host–guest relationship developed into such a warm and friendly connection.
