Myself and a large group of friends stayed and this was a great place! Very comfy stay and had everything we could think of for the stay! They even left us stuff for smores! The location was really great as well. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Lake House

This lake house was immaculate and very welcoming. Our host, Margaret O'Connor, was always available to answer questions at any time of the day. She offered suggestions for places to visit in the area. She was wonderful! Our family loved everything there was to do on the property and at nearby Lake Michigan. This place will not disappoint!

Great Place!

The house was huge and had plenty of space for all 9 of us and two dogs! Some of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in!

Michigan get away

Beautiful large lake house with plenty of activities for children and adults. Close to beaches at the dunes. Home is well supplied with everything you need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with adults and five grandchildren.

Absolutely Fantastic

This property met and exceeded every expectation we had for it - a fantastic place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, with every modern amenity we could possibly ask for, and some we didn't even expect. 11 out of 10, would absolutely come back and do some laps on the lake again!

Excellent property

We had a lovely time at this house. The furnishings are very nice and there was a lot of space for the six of us, and we really enjoyed all of the amenities. The house is in a very nice area, a close drive to Lake Michigan beaches and a number of nice restaurants and towns. The host also seemed very kind and professional, and provided helpful recommendations. Lastly, we appreciated how much there was to do. While guests should note that the house does not have direct access to a large lake (or Lake Michigan itself) and the kayaks/canoes are only near a small pond, we still had fun kayaking and enjoyed the grill, hot tub, and other games.

Great multi-generational lakeside vacation!

Lovely setting, large impressive home with amenities to spare! Virtually everything is provided for indoor and outdoor fun. Be aware that you may hear gunfire from a nearby shooting range; the homeowners were very responsive and are doing what they can to limit the disruption. We all (from 17 - 68) had a truly wonderful vacation!

Amazing!

Even better than the pictures. The host is A+, great communication, super friendly, easy to get a hold of when we had a question. The home is simultaneously cozy and modern, and the layout gives lots of opportunity for both privacy and togetherness. Lots of amenities on-site (games, books, outdoor gear, etc.), and walking distance to hiking and Lake Michigan. We also loved kayaking the little lake…I saw turtles sunning themselves! Truly awesome stay, 10/10 would recommend.

A peaceful summer getaway perfect for a big group

Amazing set up with all the amenities for summer. I stayed with my family—all with particular tastes and needs—and this was perfect. We had plenty of spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms to spread out, and made full use of the various amenities and lounges, both indoor and out. We loved taking the kayaks out on the water, looking for turtles, identifying birds, and roasting s'mores by the firepit. Some nice local hikes and a short drive to gorgeous Warren Dunes beaches. Great breweries in the area too. Would definitely stay again.

Lake House in the Woods.

Beautiful home on a small lake with lots of sand, woods, and nature. Perfect floor plan with one or more gathering spaces preteens, teens, and adults both indoors and outdoors. the teens and young adults loved the kayaks and canoe. The HVAC system worked great and the beds were very oomphy. Best of all it is only 10 miles from the park where we hold our annual family reunion and approximately 10 miles from downtown St Joe.

Beautiful property, perfect for our group! We had a 40th bday gathering for me and it was able to house most of my friends and their families. We kayaked a ton, had a great campfire for s'mores, and enjoyed the outdoor space greatly. I could not have asked for a better way to ring in a new decade.
