We were greeted by the host Tom. Super friendly along with the whole family. They all made us feel very welcome.We were in town for a fishing tournament and the family was very accommodating with parking of our truck and boat The place was exactly as seen in photos.Plenty of room, full kitchen and if you needed anything just ask. We enjoyed sitting outside they have a large backyard and a fire pit to use also. We would definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night out of two. The area is nice and the host was communicative until we asked for a refund for the second night. There was dog hair on the linens and couch, and the pillows were old and smelly. I have allergy and asthma and was not able to sleep despite washing the linens and vacuuming before going to bed. The host upstairs woke up with the dogs around 5am and we woke up too because of the noise. We left the property after the first night and asked Vrbo and the owner for a refund for the second night but in vain. I am disappointed with: 1) the reviews, 2) condition of the property, 3) Vrbo and the host for not considering a reimbursement for (at least) one night. I also suggest to never get Expedia's advertised insurance option because unless you go the hospital or there is a major catastrophe, you are not likely to get compensated (our case).

The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and responded to my questions. Since the owner lives upstairs, check-in was super easy. The house is located in a subdivision away from town, and you'll drive on a short section of gravel road as you arrive. As others have said, the unit could use better sound insulation. The owner has dogs (friendly, but occasionally vocal).The location worked great for us, and we may be back again next year.

Great place for a quick stay

The property was very clean and the check in check process was easy. Owner was great to deal with and was super responsive to any questions. I would recommend to a small group needing a place to stay in the area.

Girls (Softball) Weekend

The apartment was cozier and cuter than we thought from the pictures! Storms messed with our softball tournamnet plans, but we found several other things to do. Meijer was close by to grab things we needed and town was an easy drive in. It was lovely to stay away from the hustle and bustle, and Tom was a fantastic host. He made some great recommendations for us and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely look to stay here again!

It was a pleasent place to stay, although not very sound proof. During our visit, we would have appreciated more bath towels,hand soap, a box of kleenex,and a toaster.

Great place to stay!

We were there for a roller derby tournament at the civic center and the location was perfect to be close by, but far enough away from the busier areas. The place was nice and private but if we needed anything the host was available to help. The area was rural and cute and we’d stay there again if we ever went back! Thanks for everything!

Cute studio apt

We stayed at Tom's place for a week during the North American Youth Championships. It was in a great location for the horse show. It was clean, easy parking, and in a quiet area. The one issue was that the apt is below the owner's home so you can hear the noise from upstairs. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

Great location

Close to the casino and walking trails which is what I had planned for my weekend. Cozy, clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and friendly.

Wonderful! Great spot and host.

I was in town for a horse show and I couldn’t have booked a better place than this place. Clean, cute, well appointed. Easy to get in and out, quiet patio to sit on and close to the show grounds as well as just a short drive from TC. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great spot for couples/small groups

Stayed with my partner, but definitely enough room for 4-5 people. Great location, not far at all from traverse city downtown. Would stay again!

Great location

We liked the location the most, away from crowds. We used the grill and the fireplace. There is plenty of space on the property. The owner responded well to minor requests.

Great Retreat!

A lovely quiet property tucked away outside of Williamsburg. Easy access to the lakes, wineries, Traverse City and GLEF!

Clean, communicative, good location

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great location, a very clean property with cozy touches, and Tom does a great job communicating. He has two friendly pups that you can hear sometimes when they get excited, but this didn’t bother us. Thank you for a great stay, Tom! Would recommend
