The Grand Getaway - Gorgeous and Great Location for Exploring the Traverse City Area!

The Grand Getaway is a lovely condo in the prestigious Grand Traverse Bay Resort. The condo is located right on one of the three 18-hole golf courses that are in the resort. The resort also features a swimming pool, spa, health club, restaurants, shopping, a mini-bowling alley, arcade, axe throwing, and an escape room. The condo is just 1 mile from Lake Michigan and 8 miles from downtown Traverse City, which makes this a great location to explore Traverse City and its surrounding beauty!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

1) Golf and all other activities in the Grand Traverse Bay Resort are not included with this rental, but may be purchased separately.
2) The condo is just 1 mile from Lake Michigan and the Deepwater Point Natural Area on the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay.
3)The condo is just 8 miles from downtown Traverse City, which has a vast array of dining, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife venues.


THE SPACE:

The Grand Getaway is a lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the prestigious Grand Traverse Bay Resort. The condo has a very nice outdoor deck that has a great view of one of the three golf courses at the resort. There is a nice outdoor dining table on the deck as well. Inside, both of the bedrooms are large and comfortable. They each feature a dresser, mirror, and closet. Bedroom #1 features a king-size bed, its own television, and its own private en-suite bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a queen-size bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room, which allows the condo to sleep up to 6 people.

The condo also has a full modern kitchen that includes a dishwasher, electric range, microwave, refrigerator, sink, counter, cupboards, and a good supply of cooking and dining utensils. There is also a comfortable living room with an electric fireplace and a dining area with table and seating for up to 6 adults. There is also a work desk in the living room for use as needed. The condo also has its own private washer and dryer.


TRANSIT:

There is some public transportation in the area, but it is recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

Very nice property with an outstanding view of the golf course. I was in TC for a conference, which was just a short walk to Grand Traverse Resort which made it very convenient.

Great Get-Away

We stayed here to provide a convenient location for site-seeing in the TVC area, including a trek to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Great location, amenities, views, host. We will definitely stay here again.

The condo was on the golf course and had all the amenities. It was nice to have coffee in the morning and watch the golfers go by. The location was also great, making it easy to navigate to restaurants and the peninsula. The only issue was that the hot water had an odor.

We were in town for a horse show and this property is only a few minutes away from the Showgrounds. Also plenty of options for meals within a few miles. Excellent communication with property manager.

Property is really nice and welcoming. Had a wonderful time staying at the property. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Traverse City. Especially if you golf. Loved the landscape of number 8 right outside the patio. Will definitely consider renting again. James

Beautiful property and landscape golf course!

The condominium was located at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, my husband and I spent the winter of February and March there with all kinds of facilities available. Great serene location, walking on the grounds was amazing, the hotel on the property had a great restaurant, coffee shop, and other shops. There is a spa on premises, pool, and game room. The condo was beautiful, has everything you need and we'll managed. Thank you once again Agape Vacation Rentals ♡

Clean , great location, very comfortable, prompt response. Only negative is not disclosing the upfront charge for property damage. This was not mentioned in the listing and was not expected upfront. Other than this great experience!

We stayed in this condo for two weeks. Most importantly, we slept great. Living area was very comfortable. We found everything we needed to cook in when we chose to. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the outdoors. We had dinner with friends at the outdoor dining table and the indoor one. We took advantage of being on the east side of the TC area and found some nice hiking trails and beaches.

Beautiful location!

My family & I really enjoyed our stay here. I'll start on the positives: -Great location! On Golf course & very peaceful. Very close to Meijer - which was convenient. - Great space in unit. 2 Bedrooms & a pull out sofa. Plenty of space for our family of 5. - Thought of alot of extras. Had a book, playing cards and brochures on the area when we arrived. Had everything you could need in the kitchen. Bedrooms had fans you could plug in, which was wonderful. They had hand soap, detergent, dish soap, etc. - Beautiful deck. - Beds were comfortable. - Air conditioner worked great. Things that could be improved on: - If you have to leave a note to hold down a handle to flush a toliet for over 10 seconds.... it's time for a new toliet. Both toliets had notes on them. Not a big deal but hard for kids and needs updating to work properly. - shower curtain in my on suite bathroom needed to be replaced. Very stained yellow. - My bed had a big hair ball in it when I pulled back the sheets. Could have came from the wash, but it very much bothered me... so we ended up going to Meijer to buy our own sheets & blankets. - I'd also provide a washable sponge for dishes. That way it isn't dirty. It can just be thrown in with the sheets to wash. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Great for the price. I'd return if these small improvements were made :)
