Oceanfront and family friendly home with a hot tub on Nedonna Beach


Welcome to Windswept... We are located in Nedonna Beach, just above Rockaway and below Wheeler. We are located right on the beach with panoramic views to Neahkahnie to the north and the arches in Rockaway to the south, we are peaceful retreat for you and your family.

We offer sleeping for 8, 3 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, and outside shower.. with views of the ocean!

We are dog friendly , 2 dog beds provided, we just ask that you do not leave your pets alone in the house.

For outside living, there is a barbeque, picnic table and deck , beach chairs and a few beach games , and the sunsets are spectacular !

Why we think our area is the very best!
Our lovely beach ends at the Nehalem River jetty. On a low tide, there are star fish, mussels and all sorts of sea life to discover. And the driftwood is spectacular! And just a walk out the door!

Our house is very family friendly, and we hope we have thought of everything you will need. I try to keep the kitchen stocked with essentials so no need to bring them, from coffee and assorted teas to olive oil , vinegars and common spices.
there are robes in each room for the hot tub and shower, beach towels, and for cooler weather a gas fireplace.

There is much to discover in the area, and you will find a book with everything we think you will enjoy.. But most definitely a trip up to Nehalem and lunch at the Riverside food cart and home made ice cream at Buttercup!

We look forward to sharing our favorite little spot away with you...

Perfect setting

Stayed with my wife, four daughters, and my parents. It was amazing! Such a quiet beach compared to the popular spots, but easy access to everywhere up and down the coast. Would definitely recommend.

Great Fall Getaway

Relaxing stay in a quiet neighborhood. Only negative was not being able to use the ping-pong table. But owner went above and beyond and provided some excellent compensation!

Our Getaway at a Rockaway Hideaway!

This was our first Vrbo rental experience, and it will certainly be one hard to beat! The house was impressive! Nicely designed to take full advantage of the mesmerizing ocean view, from morning to beautiful Pacific Ocean sunsets, out on the deck or via the large pane windows across the back of the house, exactly as in the rental photos, but that must be experienced firsthand to appreciate the full impact! The layout of the house is logical and easy to navigate, the rooms are nicely sized. This property is very well maintained and thoughtfully provisioned with all of the niceties for a comfy stay during any season throughout the year. Guests will quickly recognize this and will accordingly be compelled to take care of it as if it is their own nice property. The house is ideally located at the quiet end of the street, at the southern most end of Nedonna Beach. It is conveniently situated one minute north of Rockaway, and about 10 minutes to Tillamook to the south; and about a 15 minute breathtaking coastal view drive to Manzanita and Cannon Beaches to the north. This provides for endless places to see, and things to do every day… in the event that you can tear yourselves away from the gorgeous elevated views of the coast from the dune behind the house, or relaxing down on the pristine wide beach. The owners are very personable, like family, and communication with them was outstanding! We look forward to returning to this Pacific Northwest retreat on Rockaway Beach!

Great stay in this amazing house!

We all had a great time. It was plenty big for the 6 of us, extremely clean home with a fully stocked kitchen. The view from the kitchen is breathtaking! Thanks again! We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful home

The house is on a beautiful, quiet bluff with stunning views of the beach and ocean. This made for a wonderful, peaceful weekend. This being said, the house itself wasn’t the cleanest and is in need of some serious updating, especially for the price, with slanted floors, rusty bath fixtures, etc, but the home owner is aware of this and was easy to communicate with. We would likely stay here again, given the serenity of the surroundings

Very quiet neighborhood

The house had a nice beachy feel, with 3 separate gathering areas for a big family or group to not be constantly in each other's way. Fully stocked kitchen. Two sets of washers and dryers was a big plus. The hot tub was a good size. A big negative was that the windows and sliding door were VERY difficult to open and close. Also, it was requested that guests clean up after their dogs and not leave broken shells in the yard. We found both. One last thing, the aerial photo does not show that access to the beach in front of the house is only possible if you have rappelling skills. It is a straight drop of 15 feet or so. You have to walk 2 houses over to find a way down. Still pretty steep. In total--the house was wonderful, access to the beach quite difficult.

Bad weather. Lovely stay.

Despite gray and drizzly weather this weekend, we all enjoyed our stay at Windswept. We were able to take the pup out for long walks on the beach, and the hot tub was great for warming us up. Inside, we played board games, did puzzles, sat by the fire, and listened to the roar of the ocean. Plenty of space for the five of us to spread out. Great communication with the owner, especially when we had a couple snags with the hot tub and fireplace. Everything was resolved quickly so we could get back to enjoying our weekend. It was a great way to get away and decompress.

Best View in Rockaway

Love this place, have stayed here many times. Comfortable, roomy house with the best view in Rockaway. Huge kitchen for meals. Quiet end of the beach with easy beach access. Plenty of bathrooms so no need to share. Would highly recommend.

Great location and amazing view

The property was very clean and beachfront. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amazing views. Very comfortable and great location. Would love to stay again.
