The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view is amazing and access to the beach was easy. We had a great time exploring the area and would definitely come back again. The hosts provided easy check in/check out instructions and were very communicative.

We love this house!! We have stayed here several times over the years and always have a wonderful time! You really couldn't ask for a better location and view. Close to so many fun things to do on the Oregon Coast, but honestly our favorite thing to do is just walk down the path and hang out at the gorgeous beach! The home itself is very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The downstairs level with bunk beds, pull out bed, couches, tv, and tons of movies to watch is the perfect hangout for the kids while the adults socialize upstairs. The hosts are always SUPER nice and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process is very easy.

This is by far the best beach house we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few! It is well equipped, comfortable, spacious, and has a direct oceanfront view that can't be beat. It's close to town but far enough away to allow you to enjoy an almost private beach experience. Jan, the owner, is a joy to work with and has provided so many thoughtful touches to make this home feel like you can live in it instantly. The kitchen has more pots and pans than my own and plenty of dishes for a crowd. The only television is in the downstairs living room, which makes the upstairs living room entirely focused on the beach view, as it should be! We loved our second stay even more than the first, and we plan to come back next year!!

Our favorite beach house

This is our 2nd stay at this property. We loved it just as much as the first time! The cleaners do the most amazing job. Everything is fresh and clean. We brought groceries and cooked all of our meals here and found everything we needed. We love looking out the back window and watching the ocean. It is dreamy. Fabulous toys in the garage-we loved the boogie boards, skim board, shovels, buckets and chairs. We loved the recommendations Jan gives for things to do nearby-we tried fun-cycles and beach cruisers on the beach in Manzanita and loved it! The beach is a short walk through the back yard. Most of the time we were there the beach was almost empty.There was a tsunami warning while we were there and Jan was great about getting us the info we needed and checking on us. To clarify (the listing isn't updated at this time) the basement bedroom has 1 bunk that is a full on the top and bottom and one single twin bed. There is a pull out twin in the family room.

I can not say enough great things about this property and the owners. I am not sure I have ever rented a cleaner house, views are amazing and centrally located. Will definitely stay again

The house is literally perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Two different living spaces. Extremely comfortable beds with additional soft blankets and pillows in every closet. The outdoor faucet to rinse off sand gets warm quickly and was enjoyed by the kids. Plenty of beach toys. Nice washer and dryer. The house even has an ottoman that rolls around and is a hide-a-bed! Very convenient for someone yo sleep in one of the living spaces. Such a relaxing week watching sunsets every night and finding sand dollars all day. Hope to be back.

This house was amazing, the view was awesome, getting to the beach was easy all around it was just what we needed for our family. What blew us away was the kitchen floor was heated! Great place to stay!

Beautiful beachfront home

What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, very comfortable, and full of amenities. And the view! Stunning view of the Pacific from the large picture windows in the main room. Rockaway Beach is a sleepy town but that’s a plus in our book because the beaches were uncrowded and pristine. The house is close to many other beach towns, and the host leaves details about the area — we planned our days around the suggestions! So many stunning hikes and viewing spots along route 101 to see the intertidal rock formations.Jan was so helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot!

Quiet getaway

Property was great as was communication with the host! The view was amazing, quick walk to the beach, and floorplan of the house was perfect! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area in the evenings while the upstairs was a nice quiet retreat. The kids loved the heated kitchen floor and spent mornings sitting in the kitchen playing battleship!

Best beach access

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great floor plan especially the patio facing the beach. It seemed very private the way it was sheltered slightly on each side, didn't notice the neighbors. Lovely sunsets and perfect access to the beach!

Thanksgiving

My family and I (all adults) had a wonderful stay at Beach Star. The property is steps from the beach and the second floor leaving space overlooks the ocean. There are 2 Kings rooms on the 2nd floor and 1 room with a bunks and additional bed on the 1st floor. The 1st floor also has a smart television. It was so nice not having the distraction of the tv on the 2nd floor, our family spent a lot of time reading and looking at the coast, when not walking along it. We cooked a full thanksgiving dinner minus the Turkey, which we brought pre-cooked, and all the cooking equipment, knifes, pots and pans we needed were provided. The sound system is great, bring your favorite CDs to enjoy it! Loved the stay!

Beautiful beach home

Perfect home on the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and the sunsets. The home floor plan is awesome with two living spaces. Home was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Great owners and check in was easy.

Beautiful home. Oceanview

This is our second year staying at beach star. Our 4 generation group were ages 8-93. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds, short walk to ocean. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves. Everything was perfect. I had to call owner with a question, and was immediately answered. Very good communication from start to finish

Annual Family Beach Trip

We have stayed at this same location for several summers for our annual family beach trip. We love it every time! It is well stocked with all the beach toys that you need. It is a great location for a sandy beach without crowds. There are also plenty of games and movies available when you are taking a break from the beach. We will be back!

Great location on Rockaway

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

A sanctuary for the soul. A place where, as soon as you enter, your cares slip away and a smile appears on everyone around you. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do. The home was built in 2005.

We searched for years for just the right location on a quiet beach with unobstructed views of the surf. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do. It has always felt like a magical place to us where you can relax and replenish your spirit.

Our home is centrally located in the midst of many fun things to do. Go crabbing or fishing, antique shopping throughout all the little towns around us, go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for ice cream or into Cannon Beach for shopping. Enjoy hiking, horseback riding, surfing, golfing, kayaking. You can tour the Aquarium, Nehalem Bay Winery, Oregon Air Museum or just relax and rejuvenate and never leave the comfort of your own peaceful haven on the beach!
