Apartment for 2 people located in a former private mansion, listed on the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments, in the historic heart of Toulouse, capital of the Occitanie region. You will be welcomed to this charming apartment, located on the third floor (no elevator) of an exceptional building in the very center of the city. The Hôtel de Marvejol was built in 1632 by the Capitoul Jean Marvejol. The façade, restored in 2007, is made of exposed brick and dates from the mid-17th century. Just steps from the Carmes market, pedestrian shopping streets, and numerous bars and restaurants, you will fully enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and lifestyle of Toulouse! Most of Toulouse's most famous landmarks are within walking distance: Place du Capitole, Musée des Augustins, Quai des Savoirs, Jardin des Plantes, the Garonne riverbanks, Basilica of Saint-Sernin, and more. Public transport provides easy access to surrounding attractions (Musée Aéroscopia, Airbus, Cité de l'Espace, Halle de la Machine, Envol des Pionniers, etc.). The metro (Line B - Carmes) is 100 meters away, the tram to the airport is 600 meters away, and Vélô Toulouse bike-sharing stations are at the end of the street. Room description: entrance hall, fitted kitchen (4-burner gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer), living room with dining area and lounge area (TV, desk, sofa bed for 1 person), one bedroom (1 double bed 140*190cm), bathroom/WC (bathtub and sink). No dishwasher. Public parking at Les Carmes WITHOUT A CAR: From Toulouse train station: 12-minute walk to metro line B (Jeanne d'Arc stop) - get off at "Carmes" - 2-minute walk to the gîte (total journey time: 16 minutes).
