Haus Adona, located above the center of Zermatt, in Zermatt's quiet Steinmatten neighborhood, Light, sunny 2 bedroom apartment has unobstructed views of the Matterhorn. It is 5 minutes by foot from the town's center. Luxurious 90m2 apartment with 2 nice bedrooms (one en-Suite), 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub with air jets, other with shower), large living room with modern eating area, very nicely furnished with designer furniture and over 20m2 of balconies with unobstructed views of the Matterhorn and town. Sunrise and sunset visible over the mountains. Outside eating table, sun chairs, well equipped kitchen.
Amenities include 3D-TV, Apple TV, Blueray/CD/DVD Home Cinema System, WiFi-Internet, Radio-Alarm-Clock, hairdryer in each bathroom.
Ski room at building entrance. Storage area in cellar (level 1) for suitcases.
30 step stairway ( 3 x 10) to access to building as it is above and set back from the street (Riedstrasse).
In winter you can ski until the upper level of the Sunnegga Express and walk 550m to Adona.

Nice place to stay in Zermatt

We enjoyed our stay in this unit while visiting Zermatt for 2 weeks. We stayed with our kids. The location is very walkable to everything. We liked the view of the Matterhorn from the living room. Nice ski room at the entrance to store our ski equipment.

Zermatt ski week

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our weeks ski vacation. Very clean with great amenities and fabulous views. The host was very helpful with local information on ski rental places and restaurant recommendations. Would love to visit again and recommend this great accommodation to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Zermatt.

Great ski trip!

Anne’s apartment is a perfect place for family vacation. It has a superb view of the Matterhorn, which you can enjoy while eating your meals. The kitchen is well equipped for making your own meals and delicious coffee. The ski lifts located 10 minutes away walk from the apartment so you do not need any transportation. The hiking trails start not even 5 minutes away. We had very good time!

Excellent stay!

This apartment is perfect. The view is everything! It’s in a perfect location to downtown and to the slopes (it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the gondola, which can be a hefty walk for those not used to it or little legs, but there’s a shuttle at the end of the street). It’s perfectly clean, the beds are comfortable, ample closet space, and the bath towels are bath sheet size which I appreciate very much, instead of tiny little bath towels! The description is spot on so you know exactly what you’re getting. The stairs to the building entrance are very manageable if you are able-bodied and can carry your luggage up two flights of simple steps. The ski storage room is perfect and laundry room is great! Anne is a wonderful, gracious host who even reached out with recommendations and follow-ups prior to our stay. Check in and check out is very easy. Highly recommend this property!

Haus Adona Feb 12 to 19 2022

The unit was very modern and obviously had been updated recently. Kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a microwave oven. The living area was spacious and comfortable for our group of 4 adults. The bedrooms were a good size with the master bedroom having ample closet space. The ensuite bathroom was convenient with a very nice jet tub, but the sliding glass door did not provide enough privacy when taking care of business. The location was excellent, with the town a 10 min walk, Sunnegga lift around 10 min and Matterhorn ski paradise 15 min. Incredible views of the Matterhorn from the large deck. all in all its a wonderful property that worked very well for us. Highly recommended.

Perfect apartment with excellent views!

Perfect apartment for our ski holiday! Everything was as advertised and the apartment was comfortable and well-stocked and appointed. Would happily stay here again!

And when we received the plans for the 3 1/2 room apartment in Haus Adona with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn, we knew immediately and were able to realize our dream. And we are very happy to rent you our apartment in the high season.
