Haus Imperial is Ideally located less than 5 minutes on foot from the Bahnhofstrasse, the village, the train station and the Sunnegga and Gornergrat departure stations as well as the bus for the Matterhorn Express with access to the whole ski area as well as direct access to Cervinia, Italy.

The apartment is an 85m" two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with twin beds in each bedroom and the possibility to add an additional foldout bed in one of the bedrooms. There is real wood parquet throughout and an outstanding view of the Matterhorn from the living room, the south balcony, and one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is a large sit-in kitchen with a second balcony, and a full bathroom with bath/shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Cozy and Convenient

This was a perfect place for our family! We were traveling with our two young children and this apartment provided plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy and comfortable. It is super close to a supermarket and the downtown, making it easy to get around enough for our littlest. If we ever make it back to Zermatt we will definitely stay again!

Super comfortable base for awesome hikes

My son and I came to Zermatt for 9 days of hiking. This was a perfect luxurious place to return to each evening. It had comfy beds, great showers, a fine kitchen, and views of the Matterhorn. The location was great, a very short walk from the Gornergrat railway and grocery store. Completely perfect.

Everything was perfect! The only issue we had was finding the apartment because we didn't see the lockbox on the left of the door (it's on the right) and there aren't any apartment numbers so we walked up all the steps (this apartment is just up the first set of steps on the left) looking for the right apartment. The walk from the train station was very easy and the location of this apartment couldn't be better! The views are amazing, even better than we expected. The host is easy to work with and very responsive. Waking up to views of the Matterhorn is surreal! We could walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go and had a great time. I can't recommend this property enough and I'm a very picky person when it comes to where I stay!

Amazing Stay in Zermatt !!

Wonderful apartment right in the heart of Zermatt! Very clean and stocked for families.Only a 3 minute walk to train station, grocery store, restaurants and bars.Super fun hiking trails right around the corner.This is the place to stay when coming to Zermatt! Nicky was a fabulous host. So incredibly helpful with all of my questions!Highly recommend!!

Great apartment in a great area

We had a long day of travel to Zermatt (with several train delays), so it was a relief to find the apartment conveniently located near the train station. The bus, the Gornergrat Bahn, the river, and a few grocery stores are all within easy walking distance.The apartment itself was perfect for me and my family. I'm looking forward to returning soon. Perfect location for a wonderful ski vacation

This is a great property and I would definitely return! We had 5 total in our family and the apartment absolutely had enough room for us all. The location is perfect - so close to everything. Nicki was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions.

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our week long stay here. We never got tired of the great view of the Matterhorn! The apartment was clean and very close to restaurants, grocery stores and ski lifts. We had 2 couples so each had their own bathroom which was nice. We were able to walk to everything. Although there is no washer/dryer, it was easy to use a laundry service nearby (Mundizia). We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Zermatt!

Great zermatt location

The condo is within easy walking distance to the train stations and grocery stores. A great view of the Matterhorn is visible from several rooms of the condo. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, We will definitely rent this condo for our next trip to Zermatt.

Amazing location and views

We traveled to Zermatt with two young children 7 and 9 for a week of skiing and this apartment was perfect. It is updated and clean. You wake up in the morning with views of the Matterhorn from the master bedroom and relax in the afternoon with the same view from the living room. There is a short walk right up the road to a bus stop which is great for getting to the slopes. It is very close to multiple grocery stores, shopping and restaurants while also being in a quiet area. Nicki has provided a notebook with everything you need to function at a high-level including recommendations for restaurants and ski rental which we wisely followed.

Great Views and Location

My husband and I stayed in Zermatt for 3 nights, together with another couple. The location of the apartment is wonderful and we could see the Matterhorn from our balcony/living room window every day. All the main parts of the village were easily reached on foot (bakery, shopping, gondolas, trains, grocery store). The apartment could use some updates - everything is definitely a bit dated, but we were comfortable and the place was stocked with all the necessities.

Incredible place and location

Thank you Niki for having us, we absolutely loved this place and would book it again in the future. Super close to ski lift, train restaurants and grocery store. Also nikis recommendations for dinner and communication overall were fantastic. The place was alot bigger than expected. Ikon pass works everywhere on the mountain including the train to slopes (you can upgrade day pass to goto italy side)

Excellent location, apartment layout, Matterhorn view

This was a perfect apartment for our family of 4. The apartment was very clean, with two comfortable bedrooms and beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and nice balconies. The view of the Matterhorn from the living room and one of the bedrooms was an amazing treat. The location of the apartment is just a few minutes walk from the train station in a quiet part of town that is close to the main street. There are two grocery stores each less than a five minute walk from the apartment. Communication with Nicki was so easy. She made check in and check out a breeze, and was very accommodating and responsive Our family will definitely stay here on our next trip to Zermatt. Highly recommend!

Lovely apartment

Everything was good. No problem with apartment. Excellent location. All amenities were there. Nice place to relax with family. Plenty of games, Netflix and Amazon were available with your own login. Close to Shop. Lovely view of Matterhorn from one of the bedrooms. Nicki used to respond promptly to my messages and very helpful. Only problem was ongoing construction behind the apartment which Nicki had warned me about much in advance. If you like sleeping till late then you will experience disturbance early in the morning with banging sounds from construction site which is temporary. However later in the day is fine. Apart from that this apartment is ideal for families and I would highly recommend it. We had a wonderful stay.

We have been going to Zermatt for over 20 years and have definitely fallen under its spell. The mighty Matterhorn towering above the little village can leave no one indifferent. Our mother bought her first property in 1994.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Imperial property was bought in 2001 and then we proceeded to renovate it into an apartment: two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, close to the village and everything else. Later we added the studio which is next door with the idea that it would be nice for people to have a nanny or a granny close by, but not necessarily too close. The Studio can be rented separately.
