Very nice

Loved the location in Stonewall. The visit to Weinheimer's market was just a walk away and a real treat! Easy drive to Frederickicksburg with the feeling of being in the country. Very nice visit.

Great location

Overall, the house provided everything we needed. No issues with hot water for everyone’s shower and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfy and the house was stocked well with kitchen utensils. Only complaint is the floors were filthy. They look clean, but We all wore socks the entire time and the bottom of our socks were almost black. We would stay here again!

Great location

The location was convenient to wineries and Fredericksburg. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We loved eating at Leroy’s so don’t pass that up if you come stay here!

The home was clean and met our expectations; however, the water to the house had been shut off due to non-payment. The issue was resolved but there was no offer to compensate for the issue (except a bottle of wine which never happened). Again, great home and location.

Great for a weekend getaway

The house is spacious and clean. It was stocked with everything you need for a weekend getaway. Although the area doesn't have the best view, it is very close to the winery and Fredericksburg.

Conveniently located but noisy

This home is cute, clean and nicely decorated. Being located in between Johnson City and Fredericksburg made it convenient to get to shopping, museums, wineries and restaurants. The rental was well stocked with everything you could possibly need which made our trip feel like a home away from home. We were supplied with lots of extras like shampoo, body wash, coffee, paper towels, trash bags, spices, creamer, sugar, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, paper plates etc. which was quite nice. We literally could of just shown up with our clothes and been set for a great stay. The AC worked great! The linens and mattresses were comfy as well. Our only complaints would be the road noise from 290 which can be heard inside the home. In addition, the mechanic shop and metal workshop which is directly next to and behind the house can be loud during the weekdays. It was difficult to enjoy the outdoor areas because of all the noice and the view of many construction vehicles, tow trucks and old farming equipment made it unsightly.

The place had everything one would need in a B&B. Very comfortable. Only complaint was the placement of the lockbox. It was WAY TOO HIGH UP and no stool to climb upon.

Stonewall Stay

Easy check in and check out. The house was clean on check in. Close to Hwy 290 so you hear trucks during the night. We did not use the outside seating area. Some minor deferred maintenance, such as master toilet seat is loose, master shower head was clogged so we had to clean it in order to get good water pressure, master ceiling fan is out of balance when turned up to medium. Small hole in the flooring in second bedroom. You can see daylight through the hole. Master bedroom has limited draw space, so if you're staying long, take that into consideration. Only one sink in Master bath and one sink in hall bath so a little challenging for 5 adults to get ready. Located directly behind an auto mechanic shop so you hear engines and welders during the week. Quiet on the weekend we stayed.

Heart of Wine Country

The property was as described. Very close to lots of wineries. Very well stocked with plenty of kitchen and bath items. The big carports were nice as we had a storm come through and all 4 cars were covered. Great place to hand out and enjoy our family.

Great house near Garrison Brothers and vineyards

House is even better than the pictures! Super cute! The kids had fun in the game room. We stayed here as we were volunteer bottling at Garrison Brothers for the weekend. Less than 15 minutes away from the distillery and only 20 mins away from Fred. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful home

This property was perfect for us! It's a little ways away from fredericksburg, but the drive was easy to accommodate, and they're multiple Vinyards within 5-10 minutes of the property. I'd definitely stay at the property again.

Stonewall house

This was a great property for hitting the wine trail on 290. Perfect for our group plenty of room to spread out and all the amenities you need for a weekend. Only wished we actually spent more time there, our schedule was too full for the weekend. Definitely on our repeat visit list!

Nice little gem in Stonewall.

Four friends participating in a Wicked Wine Run at Hye Meadow Winery. The property was so cute and clean and way more spacious than it looks online! We had plenty of room to stretch out and even said we should have brought our husbands (joke, but there was room) The only negative we had all weekend was that we couldn’t locate an Uber to drive us back and forth to the event. But that has nothing to do with the property at all. Perhaps poor planning on our part. Next time we will figure that out ahead of time.

Great House in a Great Location

This was the perfect house to spend a relaxing weekend away from the big city. We loved the proximity to some great winery. Our favorite the Rhinory is just over 1 mile away. We enjoyed shopping at the charming store just across the street. Most of all we enjoyed spending time at the house and particularly loved the backyard as we spent a lot of time playing soccer, baseball and cornhole with the kiddos. Wonderful stay. We will rent again.
