Great for families visiting New River Gorge NP! We stayed here with our 4 kids (ages 7-11) and had a great visit. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to the bridge and hiking trails.

This was a great place for a girls’ trip to the gorge. You can’t ask for a better location! The house is two minutes from downtown Fayetteville and two minutes from the Canyon Rim Visitor’s Center. The house is very cute and comfortable and is perfect for a small group. The host communication was excellent. One note for travelers, the driveway is a little tight. There’s an additional on-street parking spot though. If you’re in a full-size SUV or have multiple vehicles it will take some maneuvering.Overall, this is a great place to stay!

Great location for the surrounding attractions

Great spot for us as we were mainly visiting family in Oak Hill, but still very close to all other site seeing spots around the location. The listing was accurate, but the beds weren’t great and the backyard and back patio area weren’t exactly great spots to do anything. Overall it’s a good house and location for surrounding sites. I would recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the area.

The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray.

Nice, neat, clean and newly remodeled this was a great place to unwind after spending the day doing outdoor activities. The sheets were super comfortable and the towels were unusually fluffy for a rental. The TV was giant and thoroughly appreciated! Enjoyed our stay. This was a dog friendly house and if you are traveling with a dog just be aware that the backyard is fenced but only accessible out a side door and around the corner to the fenced yard. Not directly from the house. That being said, the yard was nicely shaded by trees and my dogs loved being able to run off leash.

Pleasant Accommodations

The property delivered on cleanliness and location. We appreciated the property managers concern about a satisfactory stay but daily correspondence was a tad distracting from our our goal of relaxation and outdoor activity. Nonetheless, the property was tastefully furnished and decorated and Elizabeth, a wonderful person to work with.

Thank you Joseph for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your time in Fayetteville and your accommodations. This is the first time I have received communication that a guest found my check-in message distracting, most seem to appreciate the thought. I will keep that in mind for future guests. Thank you.

Great Location

This house was located only minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge and downtown Fayetteville. It was a quiet neighborhood and centrally located for all of our activities. The house had been completely remodeled and was extremely clean on the inside, including new cabinets and cookware. The single bathroom was a little inconvenient, but everyone had their own bedroom. If we get the chance to come back, we will definitely stay there again. Mark

Excellent getaway for our young family

We were so grateful for such a great space during our stay in the New River Gorge. It was close to tons of great hiking and major attractions. We were especially grateful that the space was so kid-friendly. Sometimes vacation rentals are filled with lots of little knick-knacks that I spend every minute of down-time trying to keep my kids from getting into or breaking. This cabin was lovely and modern and free of parent headaches! We also appreciated the flexibility of the hostess so that a family friend could also come with us! Very attentive and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Great Place (until a tornado hit)

We had an amazing stay, the location of the house was perfect, and we were in easy reach of all the hikes, climbing, and other activities we planned for the week. Everything was amazing until the area took a direct hit from a tornado knocking out power for the rest of the week. The manager did a good job of communicating with us about the power outage (this house does not have a generator) so the lack of power in the entire area was not what we hoped for on our vacation but is also not the fault of this property.

Nice little gem

This property has an excellent location to visit all of the surrounding parks. It is literally 2 minutes away from the highway. The house was super clean and the kitchen very well stocked! Nice towels and bedding. Plenty of room to spread out. Owner checked in on our stay. The only suggestion I have is that the bedroom windows need blackout drapes. The street lamp illuminated the front two bedrooms through the blinds and the neighbors security light lit up the back bedroom again through the blinds. So much better than a motel room!

The house was tastefully decorated, and the host had several photos all over the walls with small QR codes indicating where the places where, best times to visit, and general suggestions.
