Circa 1871, this second story historic brick carriage house is just one block from Forsyth Park. Leave the hustle and bustle for a respite beneath billowing oak trees, and enjoy the ultimate Savannah experience you are looking for.

Follow the tree-lined shaded sidewalk off of Abercorn Street to find this hidden gem. Located on the second level (top floor), climb to the stairs to enter right into the heart of the home, boasting with natural light, tall ceilings and hardwood floors. Furnished with a cozy mix of both old and new, up-to four Lucky guests will feel right at home. From the open concept living space, and fully stocked kitchen, you'll have everything you need for a short or extended stay!

The bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the home, perfect for couples or families that want privacy. Each bedroom features a Queen size bed, a spacious closet for all of your belongings, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub combination.

With ample places to perch and unwind, this is the perfect respite for the traveler seeking the road less-traveled. Start your day with a hot cup of matcha at nearby coffee shop Mate Factor. Grab a few essentials at nearby grocery store Kroger, and be sure to have a picnic at Savannah's largest green space: Forsyth Park. More of Savannah's downtown attractions are just a quick walk (or quicker Pedicab) due North.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed the tree lined streets near this property and found the home very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with friends. Would stay there again!

We loved the place! Had the old timey feel! Decorated very pretty! We did notice the knob in the one bathroom was about to fall off. And also the chairs in living room were not very comfortable.

Fantastic Location and House

We loved staying here and would definitely book this property again! Check-in was easy, the place was clean, close to the historic district, and management was quick to respond to issues. When we arrived, we noticed a small leak in the water dispenser on the fridge, notified management, and it was fixed promptly.

Nice location and property. Need to let renters know if a festival is in town because parking when we arrived was a major issue. Needs more plates (only one in the cabinet).

Week visit

Location, cleanliness, etc were perfect. the only downsides were two things. 1. It was on a main street so lots of street noise. 2. If you are eating in the kitchen supplies are a C. If you are eating out then it wont matter. Other than those two items the property was perfect.

Reviewer Comments: I have been staying in Lucky Savannah homes for all four years my daughter has been in school at SCAD and will continue to use Lucky Savannah anytime we come back. They are always so helpful from start of booking though check out. I usually hunt for a place to stay based on location and Lucky Savannah has the best rentals in the best locations. I have even reached out to Lucky Savannah with my dates and hopes for a stay and they collaborate with me and send me emails with the properties that they manage that may work for my trip.For this stay, our most important one with the most people, for our daughter's graduation, I really wanted to stay in one of the classic mansions in Savannah. The Wayne Mansion was the best place for the weekend event; and the way Lucky Savannah manages the mansion they made it possible to shorten the rental time for part of the mansion property to reduce the cost as several guests came and went through the stay. This allowed us to pay the extra fee to have a party and had a gathering for our daughter's fellow graduates and families. Thank you again and again Lucky Savannah for being such a wonderful resource!

Adequate but not special

The property was in a fine location. The accommodation and supplies were limited. No dishwasher or even dish drain when we handwashed dishes. Would have been good to have tv and cable instructions. Loved our trip to Savannah but will probably select another place to stay.
