Gorgeous view and thoughtful touches

This is a beautiful, clean home with amazing sunrises from the back porch. The home is well appointed with anything you could want for cooking. We frequently stay in VRBOs with our large family, and what I appreciate most about this property are the thoughtful touches like extra toothbrushes, razors, etc that are missing from so many properties. Even though we are past the infant and toddler stage, I was impressed with the amount of equipment and supplies for a young child (including a child's potty seat and child hangers!).

Beautiful, well appointed house

The house is wonderful. It’s clean and large and is well stocked. It is also just minutes from shopping and food. They have contiguous acreage to hike into the Carson National Forest. Agnes was kind and communicative.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was easy to access everything we wanted to see in the Taos area, but far enough outside of town to enjoy privacy and quiet in the evenings. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the home was stocked with everything we could have asked for. The owner was kind and responsive. Thank you for sharing your home!

Peaceful retreat

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. This home was perfect for 2 families with kids - very spacious, comfortable and clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen - probably the best I’ve ever seen in a rental. The location was perfect - peaceful with beautiful views all around. We especially loved relaxing on the back patio. Would stay here again.

Very easy check in. Ms. Agnes was quick to respond with answers if I had questions. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was perfect and relaxing.

The view from back door. We watched it snow on the mountains. So nice!

Relaxing Taos stay

This was a great home base for exploring Taos and the surrounding areas. We loved having a quiet and comfy place to retreat to after exploring. The views were incredible, the house was welcoming, the beds were comfy, and we took big advantage of relaxing on the back porch. The light fencing off the porch was a welcome surprise for our dog to be able to use. The next time we come back to Taos, we will be sure to stay here again!

Spring Break relaxation

The amazing house was perfectly located between ski valleys and hiking. Fully stocked and so very comfortable. The house was fabulous for our family trip. The owners helped us find local hiking trails and communicated brilliantly. Thank you. We would come back in a second!

Beautiful home. Dark nights for star gazing.

Property was exactly as described. Very nice being able to use the garage. Makes unloading and loading very easy. Spent many hours on the back veranda with the binoculars scanning the mountains.

Fall break

Sagebrush Trail was a fantastic house. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property!

This was our second time here, and we're hoping to return next year for a third stay. That should be a testament to how great the property is. (See my review Oct 2023). Agnes has been out of town during both of our visits, but communication has been seamless. Hope to meet her next year!

Beautiful home with beautiful views

The house was set up well for two couples with bedrooms on opposite sides and the common areas in between. Back deck was a wonderful spot to sit with beautiful views. Kitchen was very well appointed for meal preparation. If you stay, be prepared for some vocal dogs in the morning and at night at a few residences nearby.

Beautiful views

My family of five adults was very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful back deck that seemed so private. The views in all directions were wonderful. The house is well equipped, and we appreciated the fesh eggs!

Perfect family vacation in Taos

This property was immaculate and spacious and perfect for our family of five adults. It is an easy distance to restaurants and groceries and the kitchen is so well stocked that we regretted not being able to cook at home more while we were here. Can’t praise it highly enough - perfect in every way.

Nice property and well appointed.

Everything worked! Sounds funny but so many properties have problems like the doors won't shut, no hot water or the TV has 6 remotes (with dead batteries) and a page of instructions on how to make it work. This property was great! Nice location, nicely appointed kitchen, garage for the bikes, propane for the grill and fire pit, kindling for the fire place and detergent for the washer. Great time. Thanks

Beautiful Views!

Fully-stocked house. Nothing lacking. Back porch wonderful with fire pit and beautiful views. Owner lovely and accommodating and responsive. Very kind and invested. We enjoyed our stay and were so comfortable upon coming back at the end of the day to relax. Loved being able to have our little dogs with us, and so nice to find an owner who feels the same but keeps the property spotless and only allows those who respect the property with their pets. Which is much appreciated!

A Rare Treat

This home tops the list as one of the best. Agnes was a fabulous host. She met us upon arrival (early) to check us in. She made sure to let us know, the home was no longer hers, it was ours. Rarely do we have contact with the actual homeowner vs a property manager, it was really nice to feel so welcomed. The location of this house was special. The views from the front of the house and back of the house were spectacular. You didn’t see neighbors/garbage/city…you saw beautiful lands and mountains. Access to property/trails was excellent. The place was simply serene. The home itself was extremely comfortable. Kitchen well stocked….and those beds…oh so cozy! Such a charming home. Our family spent two days hiking (the Slide trail to the top of the gorge was our favorite). We also skied Taos Ski Valley. Everyone at the resort was friendly. We ate lunch both days at the Bavarian on mountain. Don’t let the long line scare you (Spring break). Highly recommend the Smokey sausage and fries…the green chile mayo they serve with the fries is mind blowing. Thank you Agnes, for sharing your home
