Momentitos - Peaceful and close to Arroyo Seco

This 2400 square foot home is beautifully constructed, a pumice home built in adobe style by a local real estate agent for his personal use. The home owner now purchased Momentitos from this real estate agent. The inside has many extra nice and high quality features. Views towards the mountains from the kitchen, master bedroom and the east facing patio are stunning. The open living room, kitchen and dining area makes for a great gathering place.
Momentitos is pet friendly. The Latilla and Adobe wall fences completely surround the home protecting the patio from the wind and giving the home a very secluded feeling.
The master bedroom is large with a king bed and a fireplace. The bathroom has tub and shower with double soap stone sinks. The walk in closet has built in drawers.

The other two bedrooms are on the opposite side of the living area. There is a queen bed in one and the third bedroom has two twins that can be made into a very comfortable king. A small computer desk is placed in this room if you need to do some work. A day bed sits next to a wall in the living area for an extra bed if needed.

The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The home owner visits quite often and enjoys cooking. The home has very thing you need for a comfortable and great vacation. Just bring your clothes and groceries.

Momentitos is 13 miles from the Taos Ski Valley and about six miles from the center of Taos, just two miles from the artisan village of Arroyo Seco with a natural food market, cafes, restaurants, and authentic New Mexico retail and art galleries.

This house is very unique with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains, an exceptional yard with access to the natural sagebrush areas. The sustainably built home enveloped us with beautiful art, views, and warmth. I highly recommend a stay here with plenty of room for grandparents, children, and teenage grandchildren. The access to everything in Taos and nearby towns was perfect.

Great location, great vrbo!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is spacious, clean and has everything needed. We loved the hot tub. The property is set up for dogs this was great for us. We’ll be returning to stay and enjoy the area!

Beautiful dog-friendly adobe house and yard

We loved the house, and especially the yard and hot tub. The yard was very secure for our dog, which made things easy and relaxing.The blinds and windows work well for managing the summer heat on the property. Finding the house and parking were easy.

A Momentaos Stay!

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this charming Taos retreat! The home was beautifully decorated with Southwestern touches, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a warm hot tub to a fully equipped kitchen. The peaceful outdoor space offered stunning mountain views and incredible stargazing at night. Perfectly located just minutes from the Plaza, galleries, and local restaurants, yet quiet and private enough to feel like a true escape. Our host was warm, responsive, and full of great local tips. We hope to come back someday!

Not awful but not amazing

It was tidy on the surface but that was about it. The kitchen was underwhelming and very poorly stocked, being able to cook there was a bust. No seasonings as simple as salt, no foil, etc. The dishwasher was disgusting, I’m not sure the filter had ever been cleaned and smelt horrible. I cleaned it for about 30 minutes. I had to call the property manager twice to get dishwasher pods and anything to clean the countertops with. I couldn’t find one towel that wasn’t soured. The clothes washer smelt horrible while it was running. The overall space for our family was great but that was about it.

Great stay

Perfect location, a few minutes outside of Taos and less than 30 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. Property was great and had everything we were looking for. Excellent scenic views from the backyard as well.

Momentitos

We very much enjoyed our stay at Momentitos. The property is well kept and the house is comfortable and laid out well with the master bedroom on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other side. The property manager, Wendy, reached out with very good directions to the property as well as giving contact information in case of any issues. Given the clear professionalism of the manger, coupled with a comfortable well maintained property, I would certainly rent this house again.

Sublime stay

The property is ideally located between Taos and Taos Ski Valley and away from the traffic and busyness of both. All the comforts of home are available and the host is easy to work with. Great rental property for families!

Family ski trip

This property did not disappoint. It was spacious and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It was within a 30 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. The back yard was absolutely lovely. The views were amazing. We ate breakfast at the table outside and enjoyed coffee from the overlook. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing. The property manger was very easy to reach. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to stay here again.

Great for a ski trip

This home is conveniently located between TSV and town. Wendy made it very easy to communicate check in. The fridge wasn’t working and she was able to get it fixed promptly. Sunsets from the hot tub were beautiful!

Great Views & Spacious

Stayed here for a ski trip in early Feb. The snow was great and this house was a great spot for easy access to the mountain as well as Arroyo Seco and Taos. House was clean and spacious with a great outdoor area that would be nice in the summer.

Great open concept house with beautiful views of the mountains! Lovely woodwork and beams in the living area! Nice artwork! Master bedroom mattress needs an upgrade. Would have appreciated a full propane tank to grill. Otherwise, really great house in the Taos area!

Perfect Spring Break with Family

The property was exactly as listed. The home was perfect for our group of 6. My sister, our husband's and our 13 year old boys. Everyone had more than enough room to be together and separate for a week. The backyard was very nice and unless you were standing on the small deck with the blue chairs you didn't even know there was a road behind the home. We really enjoyed the deck, looking out at the mountains. The hot tub was very nice after a day of skiing. My search for the perfect Toas home away from home is complete.

Relaxing stay with easy access to all of Taos.

Lots of comfy indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy with friends. Very accessible to all activities in Taos. Checkin and checkout were clear and simple.
