THE SPACE

Welcome to Casita on Granby, a charming Spanish-style retreat in Norfolk that blends colorful character with comfortable living. From the moment you arrive, the arched exterior and vibrant accents set the tone for a unique coastal getaway.

Inside, the home opens to a bright living room with vaulted ceilings and plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the Norfolk area. The open dining space connects easily to the full kitchen, making it simple to cook, gather, and enjoy meals together.

Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms provide comfortable accommodations for small families, couples, or friends traveling together.

Outside, the private fenced backyard and patio offer a peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee, evening conversations, or time with your four-legged travel companion.

GUEST ACCESS

The entire home is yours to use, including the driveway and washer/ dryer. The garage is not included.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE / HOUSE RULES:

There are cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion activated, records video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located in the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to extremely loud and sustained volumes. It does NOT record conversation, it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!

By booking, guests agree to all house rules below. Violations may result in immediate cancellation without refund, removal, and additional charges.

• MAX OCCUPANCY & VISITORS
Occupancy may never exceed the maximum listed. All visitors must be included in the guest count. Undisclosed guests incur a $50/person/night fee and may result in cancellation without refund.

• NO PARTIES OR EVENTS (ZERO TOLERANCE)
No parties, events, gatherings, or unregistered visitors. This includes exceeding occupancy, excessive noise, decorations, DJs, catering, event-style setups, or disruptive behavior.
Suspected or confirmed parties will result in immediate termination without refund and a $500 minimum penalty plus damages, fines, and related costs. No warning required. Law enforcement may be contacted.

• QUIET HOURS
9:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Repeated disturbances may result in cancellation without refund.

• CAMERAS & NOISE MONITORING
Exterior cameras and decibel-only noise monitors are in use. No interior recording devices.

• PETS
(FOR NON PET FRIENDLY HOMES): Not pet friendly. Undisclosed pets: $300 fine plus damages/cleaning. Service animals must be disclosed; ESAs require valid documentation.

(FOR PET FRIENDLY HOMES): House-trained dogs over 1 year old permitted with pre-approval only (no cats). Provide dog details before booking. Pet fee: $100 per 10 nights; 30+ nights: $250/month. Dogs must be crated when unattended indoors and supervised outdoors (no unattended yard time). Guests must remove pet waste or a $75 fee applies. Undisclosed/unapproved pets will be charged double the pet fee per night and may result in cancellation.

• NO SMOKING
No smoking or vaping indoors. $500 minimum remediation fee. Smoke outdoors away from doors/windows.

• GRILL
Clean after use or $75 fee applies.

• LATE CHECKOUT
Unauthorized late checkout: $75/hour. Additional costs may apply if it impacts incoming guests.

• UTILITIES
Use responsibly. Excessive usage beyond normal residential levels may be billed at actual cost.

• PLUMBING
Flush toilet paper only. Guest responsible for misuse-related repairs.

• AMENITIES
Ice makers, fireplaces, WiFi, internet, streaming services, and utilities are convenience amenities. Interruptions beyond host control do not qualify for refunds.

• COASTAL PEST DISCLOSURE
Located in Coastal Virginia. Despite regular pest control, occasional insects may occur and are not grounds for refund. Keep doors/windows closed.

• DEVICE TAMPERING
Tampering with cameras, noise monitors, locks, or safety devices is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.

• PROPERTY CARE
Excessive cleaning (trash, bodily fluids, smoke odor, glitter, pet waste, biohazards, etc.) will incur charges. Guests are responsible for damages and missing items.

• TRASH & MAIL
Excess trash may incur hauling fees. No mail delivery or establishing residency at the property.

• KEYS & PARKING
Lost key: guest pays locksmith/rekey costs.
Lost parking pass (if provided): $100 fee.

• HVAC
Do not tamper with thermostats or equipment.

• RESTRICTED AREAS
No access to mechanical rooms, roof, or non-guest areas.

• VERIFICATION
Guests may be required to complete encrypted ID verification, provide ID, confirm guest count, and purpose of stay. Reservations may be declined or canceled for objective risk factors. We do not discriminate on any protected basis.

• SHORT-TERM STATUS (VA)
Stays under 90 nights are short-term lodging only and do not create tenancy or residency rights.

• ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Guests agree to use the property safely and lawfully.

• HOST ACCESS
Exterior lawn and trash services may occur during your stay.

• LONG-TERM STAYS
60+ days: cleaning required every 30 days.
90+ days: application, screening, signed lease, and deposit required. Bookings over 90 days are brokered by Sojourn Realty.

• WEATHER
Snow removal not provided. No refunds for weather-related events. Travel insurance is recommended.

Everything was clean, house was in a good area to everywhere. Was on a main road so be careful just due to other cars but outside of that I’d definitely stay next time I come near!

Beautiful house, exactly as described! Beds were very comfy and house was nicely furnished. Kitchen appeared very well appointed, though we were there for a short stay so didn't really take advantage of it. The house is on a fairly busy street, but the bedrooms were on the back of the house so we didn't have any issues with noise at night. Would definitely stay again!

Family Visit

We live near this house. When all our children and spouses visit,we do not have space for everyone to sleep, so this Vrbo was a great discovery.

The property was perfect for us and and our kids and grandkids to visit. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we needed to do. I love the llama wallpaper!! Oh, the stove is to die for too!! 5 stars!

Norfolk Nirvana!

It was very unique and it allowed us some quality time to spend with family stationed in the military in Norfolk during the day. Loved the open floor plan of the house which gave us plenty of room

👵🏾 solo black femme traveler experience 💫

Writing this as a solo black femme traveler for others at these intersections (yay!) - I stayed here for six weeks and I can’t recommend it: - It is priced as if it’s right on the beach and/or luxury and it’s neither. it’s a very cute DIY type place but the prices are outrageous and the hosts aren’t flexible on the prices enough for it to seem fair. I think if you’re trying to spend this amount…be near the beach or a lake or on the moon not a block from the highway AND off of a noisy street with trucks and buses and cars at all hours (it’s off one of the major streets in Norfolk). - Note to hosts: check-in more regularly on femmes on their own unless they explicitly ask otherwise. I’ve stayed in countless homes and this is the first where I had such little contact with the hosts. Regular check-ins make a big difference. They are obviously trying to ‘automate it’ and have as little contact or engagement as possible with the humans staying in their…business venture? It definitely felt more like a business venture than a home. That said! - Norfolk is a cute and friendly city with lots to do and awesome food. I took long walks and felt very very safe and it was fun to explore. It’s also easy to walk to rivers/bays/waters which is a plus! - The house has great amenities: deep bathtub, super hot water, gas stove, washer and dryer with detergents (appreciated this), soft comfy sheets (i slept well!), lots of wood, and a nice backyard. - The interior design of the home is clearly thought out and was very cozy and beautiful. There were times I just sat and experienced the home and it felt lovely. This alone softened the edges off of the price and location. If you’re like ‘yes DIY/super cute interiors!’ ‘yes let’s ball out to be near the highway!’ go for it. Otherwise there must be other cute spaces on VRBO that are a better value and location? Bless.
