Nice family get away
We stayed at Tim and MaryKay's farm house for a long weekend before school starts. They are wonderful hosts and so great with our kids (5 and 9 years old). Our kids LOVED helping with the farm chores, collecting eggs and peppering Tim and MaryKay with all sorts of questions about the animals.
The farm house is a lovely, comfortable space -- the bedrooms are a little dated/could use some love and window coverings, but the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and there are tons of games and puzzles and toys.
The lake is lovely and clean and great for swimming off the floating pier or kayaking. Kids loved fishing off the dock.
One note worth mentioning -- the property is close to I-90 and you can hear the traffic from most of the property/lake. They do have white noise machines in the bedrooms and since the traffic is fairly steady, it eventually becomes background noise you don't really notice.
We would love to come back next summer!
