Bright and cosy studio apartment with a spacious bathroom.
Situated in very calm green area a stone's throw away from Perlan (the Pearl) and Öskjuhlíð nartural park. Nauthólsvík geothermal beach is a 20 minute walk away through the park.
The studio is a 5 minute drive away from downtown Reykjavík. Free parking is available in the street.

Was perfect for our 5 day visit with rental car, centrally located for day trips for site seeing. Also convenient pathway to park and beach area.

Enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as advertised so our expectations were met. Baldur was very helpful when I had caused a breaker to trip and rectified the situation immediately.

Our host was very gracious and accommodating. Our unit was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. It is located conveniently close to the Perlon, which is a very interesting and enjoyable center of natural history with ice cave, imax style lava show and more. 30 minute stroll to downtown. 15 minutes to central bus station.

Great spot to stay. Quiet neighborhood, close to city attractions but away from the traffic and people. Owner is attentive, friendly, and very accomodating.

Perfect base for exploring. Nice neighborhood within walking distance to Pearlan and nice park. Bonus to be able to park our rental car at the house!

Perfect space for two!

The studio was the perfect place for our city stay. Close to bus stops and trails to get downtown, parks, or other key spots! The host was very friendly and helpful! Would stay again on our next visit to Reykjavik!

Absolutely perfect!

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Close proximity to everything Reykjavik with a public transportation stop right around the corner. Close to a walking track on the beautiful coast of Southwest Iceland! Absolutely no complaints.

This is a great choice for Reykjavík. The owners are very responsive and friendly. The location is perfect for using public transportation and for visiting Perlan. There is a Bonus grocery store nearby. I would not recommend this location if you have mobility issues as there is a step up at the front door and a LONG step down into the shower though there is a nice grab bar for the shower. The small refrigerator, microwave and adequate dishes are ok for quick meals. The little table and two chairs are utilitarian. The bed is very comfortable and it’s a safe location. If you have very much luggage you will find it to be a challenge for where to put it. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Reykjavík. This visit we were there for 4 nights.

Relaxing and convenient retreat

I loved the location, in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to everything tourists would like to do. Parking was easy and bathroom was very luxurious. The hosts were very helpful, caring, and friendly. It was always easy to return to after a busy day because Perlan’s dome was easy to see and close to property. I would return to this location again. I almost hate to move on. Lots of places and trails to walk in the area. A great place to be.

Friendly host. Great spot. Convenient location.

Very clean, welcoming, safe neighborhood. We were able to have our own spot in the driveway. Would not recommend more than 2 guests due to space. Clean bathroom! Just know that the unit is connected to the main house and there are kids in the area.

Outstanding, comfortable, and very homey

I stayed at this B and B for 10 nights and was so comfortable. The hosts were very kind and communicative, and made me feel absolutely at home. They even accommodated me in lovely ways that were not part of my stay. I was in wonderful walking distance of the city and was able to make it on foot to all of my tours and business. I also liked how quiet it was, away from the bustle of the city, with many close by walking trails. Baldur and Jeti are just lovely, as is their family. I would highly recommend this B and B.

Almost exactly what we needed

The owner was accomodating and responsive. We also enjoyed the company of his friendly cat who visited quite frequently. Only thing that kept it from being perfect was proximity from the downtown area. On foot about a 45 minute walk, however the Hopp scooters came in clutch and cut transportation time down significantly. Regardless, a great value and would visit again

Quiet location for a good rest

This a good place for a short stay. Though the room itself is quite small. the bed is comfortable and the bath is spacious. The blackout shades work well for sleeping. Internet connection is very good. A bonus (for cat-lovers) is the owners’ friendly cat, who visited us several times. About the location: having a car is highly recommended. Although the fabulous Perlan complex is only a ten minute walk, downtown Reykjavik is a much longer walk, which we didn’t want to take. Be advised that there is no TV, and a small wall-mounted set would have been nice. Baldur, the host, was friendly, helpful and accommodating and we enjoyed our brief interactions with him.

Kleines Zimmer für 2.Personen

Sehr gute Lage, in der Näche zum Stadtzentrum (3km). Nettes kleines Zimmer. Keine Küche, nur Mikrowelle und kleiner Kühlschrank. Uns hat es aber gereicht, da man ja sowieso zum Erkunden und Reisen nach Island kommt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alles super!Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchen. Det Vermietet ist sehr entgehenkommend und nett! Herzlichen Dank!!
