Warning!!! The view will take your breath away. Be quick to rent this nicely decorated piece of paradise.

There is free wifi high speed internet access in the unit and many local attractions that are convenient and affordable.

This professionally decorated condo is located in one of Okaloosa Island's premier properties, The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. The amenities are awesome and there is something for everyone in this conveniently located resort. Take advantage of the 700 foot lazy lagoon river on the premises or the seasonally heated, large waterfall swimming pool. There are also two oversized spas on site as well.

As a resort guest you also have access to all of the amenities of the Beach Resort directly across the road with additional pools. While you are there take advantage of the facilitie. All are included with your stay free of charge! Undercover parking is also provided on premises.

This is a very private, third floor one-bedroom condominium that is beautifully furnished and decorated in a sunny tropical theme. The condo sleeps seven people comfortably and has spectacular views of the bay and lazy river lagoon.

The master bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, private full bathroom and television. It is furnished with lovely antique pieces which adds a romantic bed and breakfast feel.

The bunk area is located in a separate hallway for privacy and a second bathroom is located adjacent to this area. For additional overnight guests, there is a pull-out queen size sofa sleeper.

A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, ice maker, blender, toaster, and more. Enjoy fixing a seafood feast while you check out the bay views. There is informal seating at a breakfast bar or kitchen table. A washer and dryer is located in the condominium for your convenience.

The living room includes a convertible sofa sleeper, over sized stuffed chairs, a large TV with DVD as well as a CD player. The balcony has comfortable high-rise seating to take full advantage of the views.

Loved the lazy river. But also had two pools and two hot tubs. Walkover to the baordwalk with shops and restaurants and public beach access. Well maintained and had everything. Will come again.

Great stay for families

Six of us stayed in one condo and it was a little tight. I would chose a 3 bedroom next time. The lazy river was great and the location was close to the boardwalk. I would recommend staying here.

Our First Vacation Stay

It was our first actual vacation stay and we couldn’t of been happier ! We got rained out of being able to go to the beach but we went and spent our time at the pool and everything was close by!

Never ever without a beach again

it was nice, but never have stayed in a condo not on the beach. i booked it due to my friend not being able to walk on the sand anymore due to age and surgeries. It was a nice lazy river though.

Destin West is the best!!

This is our 3rd year staying at Destin West and we love it there. Check in was convenient online. We had no problems. The grounds are pristine and everyone is friendly and helpful. We will be back very soon!

Nice piece of paradise

Our room was clean and functional for what we needed. It had the basics when it came to the kitchen but we were able to make due. I had to call Maintenance for a wasp nest on the balcony and they responded quickly and handled the issue. Overall it was a great stay!

It is very close to the lazy river, and the beach is only a 5 minute walk without crossing any road. The only complaint I have is that it was missing some amenities: furniture for clothing, scissors, cereal bowls, trash in bathroom, wooden spoon for cooking.

Great condo with a great view of the lazy river. I would rate the unit 5 stars, but couldn't because the water line for the dispenser and ice maker on the fridge was broken. However, the property manager notified us immediately and left us with 30 pounds of bagged ice, which was immensely appreciated!

Spring break with family

We really liked the property and where this unit was located. It had a great view of the lazy river/pool/bay, and it was nice being right by the heated pool. The unit was nice, but definitely had things that could be fixed. The dryer’s lint thing kept coming off while it was running, and we never could leave it running when we left because it wasn’t safe. Not all the clocks worked, and the pull out bed (on the sofa) wasn’t very comfy. But, all in all, we could handle those things and they weren’t a huge deal, but things you should be aware of.

Beyond disappointed in this unit & the follow up with management.Arrived 10/8, late afternoon.Unit smelled & sand on floors throughout the unit, as if someone forgot to sweep prior to our coming?Master bath is a fall hazard – there are no anti-slip grips on the floor of the shower and it is very slippery when feet are wet. There are no bars in the shower or outside the shower, the towel bar is over 16 “ away from outside edge of tub. There are no bathroom rugs – however, a 12 x 18” towel is supplied – however when wet, makes the tile floor slippery .First morning in the condo, took a shower in the master bath - As I was reaching for a towel my feet slipped out from under me, and I face planted on the tile floor – breaking my nose &nasal septum into multiple pieces, sprained shoulder and a concussion. Had surgery 12 days later, 6 was later I am still not back to work full-time.Facility manager sent a copy that I signed prior to renting the condo absolving them of any injuries while I was in the condo.However, it says nothing about gross negligence from the homeowners and management staff.I have told them multiple times that this is a fall hazard for everyone and they need grab bars inside the shower, outside the shower, a towel bar much closer to the shower than what it was, some real bathroom rugs and anti-slip grips/pad on floor of the shower.If they have fixed gross negligence in the master bath, I recommend you stay elsewhere.

Disappointing stay

The location and amenities were all top notch but unfortunately this particular unit was quite lacking. -Unit was in a state of disrepair. Cabinet faces were coming off, doors were bolted onto the wall with a piece of metal and some screws, couch bed was missing multiple springs and was not usable, moldy shower curtain, terrible wifi connection, many areas needed new paint, etc While we would gladly stay at this resort again we would not ever want to stay in the particular unit again. Pictures not accurate to our actual experience.

Great Condo with Lazy River...

Great property and clean! Also, plenty of towels but there is a washer and dryer so you can was towels in case you run out. So bring some laundry detergent. Didn't mind the 5 minute walk to the beach. Prefer to stay on the bay side because of the lazy river and it is so pretty to look at when all lite up at night! When we arrived the next morning, the coffee maker did not work. Notified the manager and she brought us one later that morning. GREAT blender for virgin pina colodas!! Would have been a perfect trip but it rained every day with some breaks but all day rain on the last day. That was Mother Nature's fault. Plan to go back next year. Maybe in late July next time. We love the place and all the amenities! Thanks!

Not as nice as pictures

We have stayed in several Dest West properties and this was by far our least favorite. The room was not very clean, in the bathroom off the bunks there was water damage on the walls, the ceilings in both the livingroom and down the hall looked as though they also had some water damage. The fold out bed in couch is broken, making it impossible to sleep on. The rug in the livingroom looked like it had never been cleaned. All around the place was not what I was hoping for. We would not stay in this unit again. The picture were edited to make this place look my nicer and larger than it is in person.

Nice Condo

My friends and I stayed here for the Spring 2022 FUDs Vball tournament. It was a very comfortable place to stay, and it had all the amenities we needed. Thanks!!!

Perfect Place to Stay!

We had an amazing week at this beautiful condo. Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Robin were amazing to work with and so helpful! We highly recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere to get away! We will definitely be back!
