You and your guests will love this large Red River Cabin on the river with a fantastic location in town, on the river and just a few blocks to the Red River Ski Resort. Take advantage of the free Red River shuttle to downtown shopping or restaurante. A great open floor plan, attached garage, 2 balconies, covered decks, two spacious living areas and a game room with pool table makes this a perfect place to stay on your Red River vacation.

The living room boasts a nice alpine inspired furnishings, a stunning floor to ceiling river rock fireplace, wall of windows with views of the river, high vaulted ceiling, deck access, flat screen TV and DirecTV.

The kitchen and dining area is open to the living room and features a large table with seating for 12. The well stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare and serve your favorite family recipes.

This great cabin is great for outdoor entertaining and fun. Relax on the huge deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the river and sunset. A landscaped and fenced back yard, huge covered deck along the back of the house, gas grill, fire pit and the Red River is steps

$75 per pet/2 pet max, charged separately by the property management company after booking.

Annual ski trip

We always take a friends ski trip each year and have been looking for the perfect place to stay. This fit all of our needs! It’s very spacious, very family friendly, lots of room to not feel cramped in one space. We loved that it was on the outskirts of town and on the river! Close enough to town to still be convenient! We’ve already booked it for next year! Love that it had a garage and washer and dryer!

Family Christmas Ski Trip

The cabin was beautiful and clean. We were only disappointed in the lack of decorations. No christmas decorations at all. They had the tree in garage like they were getting ready to put it up but didn’t take the time. It would have been wonderful have our Christmas in the mountains and it actually be decorated.

Luck lodge

Great location however this house needs some tender loving care. Unfortunately it obvious that the rental money brought in by this little mountain house has not been used to maintain it t even clean it properly. It’s Shame. There a ton of dog damage done that has not been repaired. Location good. The house deserves better

Plenty of room

Overall the house was very nice and roomy. It was in a very lovely location with the stream running behind it and convenient to town. The kitchen is a bit tight if there is more than one person trying to help out but not too bad. There are a few minor repairs needed (none of them dealbreakers for me) such as - the missing slat on the railing at the top of the stairs (which was the perfect size for our two year old to fit through and very dangerous), more trash bags available, more dishwasher pods available, and the back doorknob was wonky and had to be jiggled and turned several times before it would open. Really the staircase issue was the only one that needs to be addressed before a child falls through and gets hurt.

Fabulous Getaway

We enjoyed the home, plenty of room for 2 couples and 2 grandmas. Watched movies in the evenings, sat and played games on the patio in the afternoons and enjoyed the patio for our morning coffee!!

We really appreciated the new carpet and flooring in the property. The beds were very clean and comfortable. It was a lovely location by the river. Great place for a family get together.

Great family trip with fishing right in the back yard.

Big place for everyone to enjoy. The lighting is poor but just spend more tine outside! Fishing in the backyard was super fun! The oven does not work very well if you plan on cooking and the bbq temp regulators dont work either.

Always a great stay

Our 3rd time staying here with friends. Beds are super comfy and we always bring corn and unsalted wildlife peanuts for the ducks and Stellar jays

12 people/3 generations

12 people, age 7 to 68 had plenty of space to be together and apart for 5 nights. Great place. We cooked 2 meals a day, morning and evening, and skied during the day. Would do it again!

Friends / Family Ski Trip

We really enjoyed our stay and ski trip to Red River. The house was well suited for our three family group. The kids really enjoyed the upstairs tv room and rec area.

Great experience in Red River

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and will continue to book it for our annual trips to the Red River Oktoberfest. There are a few small repairs that need to be made but overall it is excellent. A lot of space for a large group (we had 9 adults) without feeling like you’re on top of each other. Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs for those with mobility issues is great and not something easily found in Red River. The management is super friendly and easy to work with.

Comfortable and Quiet

Older home but comfortable for multiple families with 2 living spaces. The deck and river was great! Although the kitchen (dishes, coffee pot, counter and garage)were not clean, the bedrooms and bathrooms seemed clean. Overall nice place.

Making Family Memories

Lucky River Retreat is a true getaway! This is our family's second year to stay in this great home. Plenty of room for our three family's! Our favorite part is being right on the river where you can fish, race boats, made at the Community Center and enjoy an evening around the fire. This is our family's fav! We look forward to many more memories here!! Resort Reality is a dream to work with...on top of all the details.

Heat Get away

Great home on the creek. Easy access to all the events that were going on in town. All bedrooms were great size and very comfortable. Hanging out on the amazing patio and backyard was our favorite time of the day. The only recommendation I would make. No local TV station for news or weather.

Relaxing and fun

We enjoyed this cabin. There was plenty of room for us, our kids and grandkids. The beds were so comfortable which means so much for me to get plenty of rest for our daily adventures. There were plenty of tvs for everyone to watch their own shows and also a kitchen to cook our meals. The creek in the back was a plus. Everyone enjoyed it. We were close to the restaurants and shops which all of us girls loved. Riding in the mountains close by was so much fun and some of us enjoyed the fishing nearby. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and I hope to stay here again.

Cool

Good place to have friends/family over. Needs some repair to stair rails inside house and stove needs immediate attention. Knobs do not shut off gas as they should. Quiet and very spacious. Nice stay with even the snake in the garage.

Red River Retreat Cabin.

We enjoyed our stay but the house was not properly sanitized. We cleaned the pool sticks, and the Clorox wipes came out black like they have never been cleaned and who knows how long, after that we decided to clean door knobs, light switches cabinets in kitchen and stairway grab bar. Everything was dirty. Dishes we dusty. It should of been more clean and ready for us to us with out worries.

Dirty not as advertised

This home is not at all what it is advertised in these pictures. This property is dirty and is not kept up in anyway. Our family of 11 chose this property based on pictures. It was a bit more than we wanted to pay for but the pictures were gorgeous and we decided to go for it. Upon arrival at Of the real estate business to pick up our key the receptionist told me not to worry with the stains on the carpet that they were trying to get owner to replace it...clue 1...Once we arrived at our home we thought by looking at pictures it would be more secluded as it shows, it is not you are in a edition of homes. I wish that I could attach photos of what we experienced....Filthy!!! Dishwasher didn't work (we hand washed dishes for our family of 11), Dryer takes about 6 cycles, Ice maker didn't work, Tubs do not drain, Grill was out of propane, Upstairs tub evidently has a hole in it because there is tape over it...however it is coming up. It was so dirty and gross. Cabinets are covered in grease, chairs are not wiped down, what appeared to be blood stains on one of the bed comforters, dust EVERYWHERE, carpets are not a little stained they are covered in stains!!! I contacted the reality company that night (Saturday) and Monday we did have The manager show up with a cleaning crew and landscaping crew that then stayed 2 hours working on cleaning the inside and outside. The manager was doing the best she could but the place was not in shape for people to rent. Evidently they run them in and run them out with no time to clean. After we talked they did refund half our money for the week and wrote us a check for the cleaning fee....BUT this property is WAY WAY WAY overpriced to begin with! Also the next day we had a gentleman show up to put up new blinds...again we had to be there. Please be careful in what you decide on your vacation home rental.

Nice enough space

So, the place isn't awful. Most of the beds were comfortable enough. One was pretty awful. Plenty of cookware, utensils, and dishes. The place was outdated and had some random issues throughout, a couple of the tables were lightly damaged, the floor was separating in places, and the railing for the stairs was loose. All of that sounds bad, but... It really isn't that big of a deal, if the place was a little cheaper. I feel like it's a little pricey for how outdated it is. Also, they ended up charging an additional pet fee at check-in that wasn't included or discussed previously. I felt like it should've been included in the original payment since I disclosed we'd be bringing pets at that time. All in all, we had enough space and amenities to do everything we wanted to do. It was awesome enough for our friendsgiving. Honestly, if it wasn't for the surprise additional fee, I would've given the place five stars with its imperfections.

Red River Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Red River. The location of the Lucky River cabin was awesome. We loved being so close to the Red River ski area and the local shopping and restaurants. The cabin was spacious enough for our group of 9. We loved having a full kitchen and the outdoor grill. We look forward to coming back!!
