Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Vacasa house- The best location for the beach! prefect size house for our family needs. Loved the heated pool, the view and the ease of using the pier walk way to the beach! now the negatives that needs immediate attention to make this a superior rental: kitchen- light switch for light over sink - doesn’t turn off light- you must push the switch into the wall as your turning the light off refrigerator- bottom drawer in cooler side is broken. Water/ice panel on outside of freezer side is broken and loose please check the dishes!! the bigger pots were disgusting! they need a good scrubbing or tossing out! Living Room- right blind (looking out to pool and ocean)does not open. set of curtians are missing on one window. Sofa needs to be trashed! small kids sink so deep they struggled to get out- Adults had to be pulled out of the thing. Door to the pool deck- door handle loose and falling off- husband bought a screwdriver and fixed it - for security Bunk Beds are wobbly screws needed to be tighten down All the on/off light switch’s need to be cleaned - dirt and grime has built up on each of them sheets- King flat sheets were to short and could not be tucked under foot of king mattress, fitted and flat sheets were so large for the double beds the extra fabric had to be tucked under the double bed mattress for safety of the smallest sleeper (2yr) dryer is a fire hazard- the smallest load of house towels took over two hours to dry! clearly the owner needs to upgrade several items and do a very deep cleaning of this house for health and safety reason in this age of post COVID.

Disappointed

We booked this property for its location and its private pool. The disappointment started the moment we walked in. The first thing we noticed was a large brown sticky spot on the kitchen floor. It couldn’t have been missed if the property had been cleaned properly because it was directly in front of the refrigerator. We discovered that the internet wasn’t working and found that there was not a cable connecting the modem so we went and got one. We also found a pair of pajama pants in one of the bedrooms. Again, not cleaned properly. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It was green and filled with sand and shells. We called to complain and they sent someone to work on it. Whatever they did to fix it only made it worse. By the time we left, it was so green that you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool! I wish I could upload a picture of it. I wouldn’t have let my dog in it! Yes, they offered to give us a refund on the pool. $330 for a week of not being able to use the pool. That’s what it’s worth to them. $47 a day. I guarantee you’re paying 2-3 times that in rent for it. We have been dealing with Meyer for about 10 years, but never again! The one star was for the location.
