Nothing truly says 'vacation' like a getaway to the beach. Book your stay at this waterfront home situated less than a mile from The Hangout while avoiding the clamor of larger complexes. You'll only be 400 yards from taking a dip in the Gulf of Mexico's warm, emerald waters.

Enjoy incredible waterfront views from both private decks. When you're ready to get active, fish off the private dock with direct access to Little Lagoon. Bring your watercraft to launch on the water or rent a kayak or paddleboard, just steps away from the house.

This charming three-bedroom has plenty of space for your group to spread out and even boasts a sunroom. The roomy living area is a great place to relax after spending the day at the beach or shopping downtown. It features a TV with cable for entertaining evenings at home, as do all the bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and cookware, so cooking will be a breeze once you stock the fridge.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a queen-size sofa bed in the living area.
One flight of stairs is required to enter this home.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: Guests may bring their boats and use the 20-foot private dock. Guests must bring their own ropes and equipment and follow Alabama boating laws. The brackish lagoon is two and a half feet deep.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Wonderful vacation

Great location close to beach, shopping , restaurants and convenience store very close , very nice neighborhood and on a quiet street with no through traffic. Fenced yard . We enjoyed it so much would return definitely to this house. Perfect for multiple families or friends. Plenty parking for 4 cars.

Peaceful private house

This house was so nice. We loved the privacy. It was a little walk to private beach access but we had our own little dock on the Port side for fishing. The only thing I would have changed was beach access. The house was clean and comfortable would recommend.

Perfect family beach get-away

We loved the lay-out and simplicity of this house. We stayed with our family and my brothers family including 4 adults and 6 children under 6yrs old. This house works great for two family units with seperate bedrooms and a open-floor plan for being together during meals etc… the decks overlooking the lagoon were also lovely. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for cooking meals. The only hick-up was sone maintenance issues with the dishwasher, which was responded to promptly. The short walk to the beach and convenient grocery store down the street was also very nice.

Beach vacation

Excellent location walking distance to the beach. We had a group of 11 and there was plenty of space. The only recommendations for Vacasa I have is that they could stock some trash bags and laundry detergent pods and the upstairs bathroom shower door is a little broken. In general the house is beautiful, clean and great location. Having an outdoor shower area (in addition to 2 indoor showers) was really nice to wash off the sand and salt water. Also, internet was great and we watched movies at night on really nice tv

Could be perfect

This house is beautiful. The extra sunroom provided a great room for puzzles, reading, napping. The outdoor shower has hot water! Just amazing. We love the location on 8th street, close to the beach with the bay in the backyard. There are three problems we had: 1) the washer broke and was out the entire week. I’ve never reused beach towels for a full week—- ick 2) the ac does not keep the upstairs cool during the day. 3) the beds in the ‘kids’ room were so uncomfortable we had kids move to sleep on the couch. This home could be perfect- hoping they address these few issues.

Beautiful Home!!! We loved it!

We had such a wonderful time, the house is beautiful and had plenty of space for 8 of us to all be comfortable. The only reason I’m giving only 4 stars was just the lack of essential items that could be provided in the kitchen. Paper towels, salt/pepper, spices, extra toilet paper and or cleaning supplies. We just bought all of it but some of those things could be left for the next guest and wouldn’t spoil. Just a thought!

great house, great location

The house is close to the beach and things to do and there is a convenience store on the corner. The house was very comfortable for lots of us and the kids enjoyed having a separarte "living room" space where they could play games and watch movies. Make sure to bring beach towels and chairs and whatnot as they aren't provided. The outdoor shower was really nice and there is plenty of outdoor seating space.

Loved everything about the house. A/C needs to be replaced though. Rooms upstairs way too hot during the day. Temp wouldn't go below 80 degrees during the day. Bbq pit needs to be replaced. We had to add a tree branch to hold it up to keep from falling over. Pantry definitely needs to be able to be used. Owners of home had it locked due to personal belongings.

Beautiful and spacious

Beach Haven was great! We wished we had spent more time there. We had a ton of room! The large patio was great to sit out on especially in the rain. The dock was great to fish from. Every age, from 12 to 42 enjoyed this home very much. We even kept the information for future stays!

We stayed at the beach haven last week for 5 days, the neighborhood was quiet. the property and house was clean and well maintained. there is a grocery/souvenir shop at the entrance of the neighborhood, the house is in walking distance to the beach. we planned a head and picked up a grocery order from Walmart in foley on the way to the house, I recommend grabbing extra laundry detergent if you're staying a while. We parasailed in gulf shores, traveled to Destin for a dolphin cruise on the cattywampus and loved every bit! the beach was clean, no seaweed in gulf shores. we also went to the wharf for dinner and the hangout for a pirate breakfast, so much fun!

40th Anniversary Family Fun in the Sun

The house was in a perfect location- plenty of space- kitchen was especially accommodating. The dock off the back, the frequent singing birds and heron visitors were magical. Location to the beach was a brief walk. Pier 33 market very convenient (awesome cold brew enjoyed by the coffee snobs in our group). House was clean and the toiletry items were fine. Plenty of seating. Plenty of towels (we still brought our own for fear of not having enough!) We did have a bit of difficulty getting into the property at 4 pm and the phone number (Vacasa) for emergencies and general calls was NEVER answered. We finally got in around 4:20 pm. While the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and serving pieces, (thankfully) we brought our own paper goods, plastic wrap, foil, baggies - but had to buy coffee filters. There were paper towels (we also brought some). We were told (via communication with the Vacasa management) that there was a community pool 3 miles away from the property. We discovered that this was NOT the case. The local Vacasa folks told us that the stated amenities did not include a pool. It was disappointing to discover this once we were there. The A/C was set on COLD 24/7. We attempted to adjust it just a bit and were unsuccessful. It was COLD, like sweatshirt weather inside. We couldn't find the pullout sofa linens and had to wing it the first night. Mgmt brought them the next day. The pull out sofa in the great room is busted and was not useable. The 10 year old slept in the sun room - perfect set up for him! Overall, Beach Haven was perfect for 3 families: 6 adults, 1 - 10 year old, one infant and 2 toddlers. Plenty of space to eat, spread out, quiet space if desired. We also liked that the house wasn't overly decorated - we've stayed at homes where the decorations were beautiful but not kid friendly! An added bonus - the wifi and tv's in every room was nice - and the streaming options. Some directions would have been helpful for us techno-deficient older adults. None of us have been to Gulf Shores and we wished we had more time to explore the parks and culture. We had two beautiful sunny days and then violent rain the last two days. Sorry for the length of this but we would recommend this place to other visitors. Thanks for a memorable 40th wedding anniversary!

Good property , ideal location but dated furniture

Property looks good, well cleaned and has all the equipments needed Rooms are good and spacious and also location is perfect Only reason had to rate it 3 , because living hall sofas were dated and had stains. Beds in both master room downstairs and in the one with bunk bed , had that slight wobble, making it uncomfortable to have good peaceful sleep Also with mattresses and box moving to the top corner there was always that extra frame inching out that kept hitting us

The House was Fantastic and Everything and More

Vacasa messed up on which day we actually got to check in so had to relocate us the first night which was a TOTAL disaster but then got to go to this house that we originally booked that next day and it was Wonderful! The Waterview was Beautiful and we loved the Space that the house had and loved the Sunroom off of the Master Bedroom. Very close to everything and can walk right to the Beach. Would Highly Recommend Staying here Again. Totally give it a 5+
