Great location

The location was great. Just a short walk to the center of Bethany. View of the ocean was perfect. Condo had everything you needed for a great stay.The only thing I have to say was the queen bed was very uncomfortable. It sagged in the middle. We had to put pillows under the mattress

Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful Location

This was an excellent location, along the north end of the boardwalk, allowing easy access to the beach and walkway to shops and restaurants. The parking worked out great, as we stored our beach chairs, etc. in our vehicle each day, with a short walk to/from the beach. The deck was high enough to be mostly private, with an excellent view of the beach and ocean. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Overall good for family of four, can't beat the location or view. Cleanliness was just ok, furniture is worn and stained and the floors weren't swept well in our areival. Kitchen could be better stocked. Would consider booking again for the location but I've stayed in nicer rentals.

Awesome Rental

The location of this condo is outstanding. My husband, 2 college age daughters, and I fit perfectly. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the view from deck, walking the boardwalk and of course the beach. It was so easy to access. And the deck furniture was also really nice…4 tall chairs, a tall table, 2 regular height Adirondacks and a 2 person Adirondack swing. Definitely two thumbs up and we would rent that unit again.

Best view by far and a superb deck (but is it worth the dirty furniture inside).

Quiet at the end of the boardwalk, stupendous view of the beach on a well appointed deck. Parking for 2 cars with one under cover. Large storage area that you can bring your our padlock for, nice outside shower to get the sand off. New double sided refrigerator holds plenty of food only the kitchen is ill-equipped to cook anything. BUT, see my other comments why we won't be back next year.

Great Location!

Loved: Oceanfront, walk to Bethany via boardwalk, remodeled kitchen and living area, linens included. Not so much: the bedrooms. The primary was cramped and uncomfortable and the ensuite was oh so tight. So I'd say overpriced vs other oceanfront rentals. Also we arrived to find no glass on the coffee table, one of only two tables in the place. Despite repeated requests for a makeshift top, there was no response.

Unfortunately we are still awaiting a visit from the glass vendor, who has been unable to schedule a time to visit to measure and replace the glass. The owner hopes you enjoyed some recent upgrades, including a new primary mattress, as well as new lamps and a wall mounted TV. We hope you will revisit again.

We arrived to a unit that looked as if it was not cleaned/was rushed through with a cleaning of the “in your face areas”, but details were very much skipped. Sand in the bed, sand on the couch, was not vacuumed with much care. Made you feel like you were staying in someone else’s previous stay. The host/manager sent out a cleaning crew at some point after we contacted them at 4pm. My wife and I came back to the unit at 8pm and they were still cleaning it. They left around 8:30pm. Definitely not ideal considering we drove in from 5 hours away and my wife being pregnant. They waived the cleaning fee and seemed to partially comp us on one nights stay which made the sting feel less, but still a bummer to deal with. Lots of reviews warned about the cleanliness of the unit and how furniture is worn/dirty. I’d say it’s pretty accurate, but for the location it’s still a nice spot to stay for a few days.

Great condo, really nice location

We loved the location of this condo on the quiet end of the boardwalk. We were disappointed by the unexpected beach replenishment project that was taking place at the exact time we were there, which kind of dampened the excitement of staying at an oceanfront property (our view was bulldozers rather than the beach for most of our stay, which was disappointing after splurging on this oceanfront location primarily to be able to enjoy the view.) However, this is of course no one’s fault, just really unfortunate timing for us. We still had a great enough time that we’ve booked again for next year. The condo was spacious enough for our family of 4 (two small kids) to be able to live comfortably for two weeks. The only drawback was the size of the shower in the master bath - it was too small for us to actually use, so we all ended up using the other bath/shower. Not an issue while our kids are this small, though. We look forward to coming back next year!

View beautiful…. condo not so much.

First walked in and immediately noticed the glass on the coffee table was completely cracked. Notified property manager and the first thing they asked is was it that way when you got there. Why didn’t the cleaning company report it? None of the doors completely closed, half of the light bulbs were out. The fire detector in the master bedroom was sitting on the dresser and not functioning. Two of the windows had notes on them indicating they were broken and don’t open.

Great Views, Unbeatable Location, Terrible Beds

We had a great time in Bethany Beach, and the location of this condo can't be beat. Waking up to the sound and view of the ocean, and being just a quick walk down the boardwalk to downtown was fantastic. The deck is the main attraction in this condo! If you want a great view of the beach, you can't beat it. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and bowls, plenty of silverware. A good assortment of pots and pans, we just wished there were a couple of options for frying pans that weren't non-stick. Not a huge deal, as we'd brought our own because we'd read one of the reviews saying that the kitchen wasn't well equipped, but could be a nice (and easy) improvement for the kitchen. The beds, however, were less than ideal. I've honestly never slept on a worse bed. The master bed was so soft in the middle that I had to use a pillow under my hips to "level" the bed and make it sleepable. The two twin beds tilt either toward the wall or the head of the bed, and are also so broken down and soft that they, too, are not comfortable to sleep in. The homeowner really needs to replace all of the beds completely with updated models that are much firmer. I personally woke up limping and aching thanks to the quality of the bed, and I can generally make anything work. It's rare for me to voice a complaint like this, as I know it takes a lot to maintain rental properties, but these beds are inexcusable. If new beds were added to this condo, we'd never book anywhere else in Bethany. Hope the homeowner makes that update, it's well past needed.

Fabulous deck and view!

Literally at the end of the boardwalk. Very private and ultra convenient access to the beach. In all my many years of coming to the shore, it has the most gorgeous unobstructed view of the beach and ocean, which is why I gave it a 4-Star and have already planned to return next year. We enjoyed the deck immensely with its updated poly flooring and furniture. The solid wall separating the deck from the condo next door adds maximum privacy; as does the central common shared entry staircase to the units. There are 28 steps but it is worth it! The parking is ideal with 1 space under the unit and the other directly in a marked space in the lot behind it. There is a very large storage room that easily accommodates several bikes and any beach gear you may have. However, bring your own padlock if you need to secure your items. The kitchen and inside flooring also looked updated and the rooms in a perfect configuration to look out onto the ocean. It would have been nice, however, to have had barstools for the island since the dining tabletop was glass making us eat steamed crabs standing up and the couch could use a new slipcover. The bedrooms are an adequate size but the master lacked any nightstands. The master shower stall barely allowed for my 134 lb body any room to shower. At best, it is a powder room not a full bath so we opted to share the shower with our guest. All in all despite some inconveniences, you just can't beat the location, the deck with its view and the privacy!
