LIVING AREA

After a day of adventure, relax on the full-size sleeper sofa in the living area while watching your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV.

The common area in the building’s foyer offers an inviting space to socialize, complete with tables, comfortable seating, and a large central fireplace.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

give yourself time for the identity verification

Vacasa requires an identification verification process that appears to not be a straightforward as described. My verification did not get validated timely and I had to wait to be able to check-in

Clean condo

It was a clean condo. Small but just as described with pictures that accurately reflect the property. The reviews about noise were legit. It’s very noisy and we didn’t get a lot of sleep but I can’t knock the owners for this. They don’t have control of the people that stay there. Just beware. We knew it going in and thought ear plugs would be good enough but they weren’t. For the price we paid we just sucked it up. The other thing was the bed was uncomfortable for us. That’s also something that would be hard to please everyone but maybe it’s time for a new mattress. The place had some cosmetic things like a broken cabinet door and broken blinds that they say they’re aware of. That didn’t really affect our stay. Overall I gave it a 4 because some of the issues are out of their control but I’m not sure I would stay there again. The internet worked fine. Another plus was how close it was to Safeway. I wouldn’t call the bus stop super close but it could be walkable and usable if only the buses weren’t constantly delayed. Overall it was sort of what we expected but I’m happy to be home which is not typically how I feel after a short getaway.

Cozy and convenient

We loved our stay here. The condo was so cute and cozy. It was perfect for the two of us. We walked to Safeway and the Fraser Trail. The lobby area reminded us of a retro lodge.

Great location with easy access to the shuttle

Only a 5 minute walk to get the shuttle to Winter Park. A cozy 1 bedroom. Ideal for a couple or a family with several kids. A little tight for 4 adults. A good price for the location. The only downside is that the building is fairly noisy and not ideal for light sleepers.

Not the worst but I wouldn’t stay again

The photos of this listing were accurate but I wouldn’t stay here again because it was so loud. This unit is in one of those terrible 70s or 80s condominium buildings that sound like they were constructed of nothing but plywood. You can hear everything through the walls/ceiling; a baby crying, someone talking on the phone, a cat meowing. A couple of times I jumped bc the sounds were so loud I thought someone was in my unit (and I’m not a jumpy person). When someone walked on the walkway outside, the entire unit shook. The first morning I was woken up by the neighbor going in and out of his front door despite the fact that I was wearing electronic earplugs pumping white noise into my ears. Also the shower still had the used soap and shampoo from the previous tenant. Made me wonder how well the shower/unit had been cleaned. The property manager also seemed pretty amateur… the information about how to use the key pad wasn’t entirely accurate (sounded like it was written by someone whose first language was not English) and the code was TEN DIGITS long. I was very concerned I would lock myself out without my phone, so made myself memorize the whole code. The property manager also had zero helpful information in the condo. (Such as where to find the laundry room, where to find extra parking, how the ski shuttle works and where it picks up, etc.) If you don’t care about any of this, then the listing is accurate. I also worked remotely during the week and never had any issues with the internet on video calls.
