LIVING AREAS
Vaulted ceilings soar in the great room. Curl up on a leather sofa and matching love seat next to the gas fireplace and catch up with your group, or get lost in a book.
Downstairs, a second living room has a sleeper sectional sofa, 50" flat screen TV with Apple TV. Craft a beverage at the bar and play cards at the two-person bistro table.
KITCHEN & DINING
The well-stocked kitchen offers a full suite of stainless steel appliances and everything you need to make home-cooked favorites. Helpful kitchen gadgets include a tea kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave.
Perch at the two-seater kitchen bar or gather around the dining table with seating for six.
BEDROOMS & BATHS
This home includes three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa that sleep 8 total. Two full baths and a half bath are stocked with complimentary starter supplies of toiletries and bath amenities.
Find tranquility in the spacious master bedroom, which is outfitted with a king bed and twin daybed. The en-suite master bathroom provides a double vanity and a jacuzzi tub/shower combination.
The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, one of which also has a twin-size trundle. The third bedroom, which is only accessible through the second bedroom, offers a queen bed.
A second bathroom holds a tub/shower combination, and a convenient half bath is located on the first floor.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Two porches face the mountains and the river, offering incredible views and the perfect spot for morning coffee.
EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS
Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, Apple TV, Netflix, a washer/dryer, Pack ‘n Play, and driveway parking for four vehicles. In winter months, 4WD is necessary to access this home.
Please note the landscape surrounding the rental has been altered by forest fires and is in a period of regrowth.
LOCATION
This alpine retreat is located on the Colorado River and just 1.5 miles from the shores of Shadow Mountain Lake.
Rocky Mountain National Park surrounds Grand Lake on three sides and offers unparalleled hiking, wildlife watching, and fishing. The Grand Lake Entrance to the park is only 11 minutes away. Stop in at the Kawuneeche Visitor Center to grab a map and ask the rangers about the most scenic hiking trails.
Drive 12 minutes to downtown Grand Lake, where you’ll find coffee shops, restaurants, museums, and entertainment. In the summer, catch a musical produced by the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
