Nadine & Michel open the doors of an authentic sheepfold of character from the early 19th century, perfectly restored according to the rules of the art, nestled in the heart of nature like a literal Burgundian "alpine chalet" in the hollow of a splendid preserved cirque of meadows & forests (the rare privilege of being able to observe wildlife on site) nestled under the wooded ridges of the Saint-Cyr mountain, the highest point in southern Burgundy (unique belvedere offering an exceptional panoramic view as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day!), a stone's throw from a picturesque peaceful little typical hamlet. Total peace & quiet (without any vis-à-vis, or close neighbors), nestled "on a balcony" on the south-east hillside exposed facing the bucolic mountains of Mâconnais & Clunisois extending as far as the eye can see. Exceptional setting and site, 100% relaxing & restful. Haven of peace and tranquility literally magical and enchanting. Breathtaking panorama & sumptuous landscapes. Sublime preserved environment, nestled on the wooded foothills of the Saint-Cyr mountain (highest point in southern Burgundy) extending the Beaujolais massif and the sumptuous neighboring landscape jewel of the Roche de Solutré labeled "Grand Site de France" (located 30 km away), in the hollow of the Haut-Clunisois, splendid hilly territory of gentle mountains (partly classified as a Natura 2000 zone).
