Newly furnished, 2BR, 2BA, sleeper sofa, sleeps 6. Flat screen smart TVs in living area and bedrooms, all with individual air. Gated community with beach front, pool, no contact entry, and free parking. Relax on a spacious gallery, dine al fresco with seating for 6, and enjoy the view from a high top bistro. Fully equipped kitchen with all new small appliances including Keurig and large capacity blender, cooking and dinnerware. There’s a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience. Sargassum Seaweed Update
Sargassum is in every ocean (except Artic)and most prevalent in the hotter months from July until early September. Sargassum is a floating food source for many ocean inhabitants. However, many beach fronts from Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean islands have experienced an accumulation of this seaweed earlier than usual, warmer waters attract this living source. It can accumulate in some beach fronts while others are unaffected. The staff at Colony Cove removes it daily; it can pile up when in large amounts and cause an unpleasant odor. We want to inform our guests that our beach may or may not be affected. While some beaches may experience an accumulation many others on the island will not; St Croix works with environmentalists to ensure the safe removal of the sargassum so as not to disturb the turtle nests buried in the sand.

This condition is unpredictable on a week-to-week basis and is out of our control. As a result, we cannot issue refunds due to sargassum.

Winter break trip

Great location as its minutes from the boarwalk/harbor in Christiansted. Its also very close to the Seaplane airport should you plan a day trip to St Thomas. There was plenty of space in the condo for the 4 of us. Colony Cove is a quiet complex that was perfect for us. I am very glad that we chose this property. Enjoy!

Condo review

Stayed in the unit for ten nights. Very large unit with full kitchen. AC works very well. Patio screen doors not so much. Secure gated building. Windy location, but close to Christianstad, which is nice for dinners, etc. Comfortable beds, nice TV setup. Could use a makeover, but what couldn't. Has all the gear you need. Mostly seniors at the complex. Good value.

Comfy beds in St. Croix

Great location and wonderfully comfy beds. We did lose power our first day for a few hours, but located the flashlights provided. The place felt safe and secure and although it's a 3rd floor unit, my mom didn't have any trouble with the stairs. We fell in love with St.Croix and the people and will be sure to return.

Great Stay

We had a great stay in the condo. It had plenty of space and was well equipped for our family of four. Location made it easy to get everywhere on the island. Looking forward to coming back to the St. Croix and would definitely stay here again!

Very peaceful and relaxing!

This condo had everything we needed for our trip and a short walk/drive to attractions! The check in process was so smooth and contactless. The beach is a very quiet and mostly private beach so you can go and soak in the sun in peace. We stayed not during tourist season so it wasn’t as loud and packed and we enjoyed every bit of it! The condo owners have everything you need from sunscreen to snorkel gear. Each room is equipped with a good size TV. The pool is great and right next to the beach, every night the condo security turns the pool lights on for guests, and it is very pretty! Very spacious deck on our condo that overlooked sugar beach! Will return again, and i 100% recommend this property!

Overall our stay was ok. The condo didnt live up to the pictures online, however. Its pretty rough. The tile floors are rickety and the sliding glass door was broken, as well as the tub faucet in the 2nd bathroom which was coming off the wall. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned very well either. Property was decent outside, but the beach was dirty and the pools were closed. Rating it as good because of the overall time we had in St Croix.

Vacation on STX

The reservation process was smooth. The location for the condo was okay. During my stay I was concern of the two sliding doors in the condo. One in the living room and the other in the main bedroom that was unable to lock.That was a major concern for me and my family safety. That was a absolute turn off. Secondly, during reservation I informed the agent the number of people that will occupied the condo, they only provided one roll of toilet paper, one paper towel and two small bags of trash bags. Another turn off was insects in the kitchen. I was sitting in the living room and I saw a big roach crawling on the kitchen cabinet. I honestly feel that after paying so much money the condo should’ve been equipped with sufficient necessities and free of insects. Lastly, I paid for cleaning services but still they informed me that I have to take out all trash when leaving. St. Croix is a beautiful island, I lived on the island for many years but after this experience I will give my stay at this location three stars.

Amazing Stay

This is our 2nd year staying in this condo and it has been amazing each time, one of the most calm beaches on the island and so quite and relaxing. The condo is very clean and decorated so nicely. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting a quite, peaceful, wonderful vacation!

Perfect Caribbean Vacation

The property was just as listed. Had all of the major necessities for the week. We enjoyed having access to a cooler and snorkel gear. The location was centrally located on the island which made site seeing easy to navigate.

Great condo!

We really enjoyed the condo. Gated parking lot. Comfortable bed. Nice pool. New/updated furnishings. And we really appreciated the extras to use like the beach bag and snorkel gear! Definitely recommend!

What a great stay

Our family had a wonderful stay. Condo was exactly as stated. The view from the balcony is beautiful and relaxing. The pool was pretty much empty the whole time. The beach did have a bunch of seaweed, but that is just mother nature. Kitchen was stocked really well, the only thing missing (which maybe I couldn't find) were oven mitts. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and came with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. We did so much exploring this beautiful island. Rent a jeep if you do some of the roads are very rough outside of the cities. Thanks again we will be back,

Clean, pleasant condo

My family’s time at the condo and in St. Croix was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The condo was very clean, well taken care of (the linens smelled fresh) and decorated so nicely. It made us feel right at home. The area is nice and peaceful which made for a very relaxing vacation. I would recommend staying here!

Everything we needed!

The condo was perfect for my husband and I on our first visit to St. Croix. Being able to check in after our late-night arrival without needing to meet anyone or go through any hassle was great. Gated community, free and available parking, and a lockbox for the key were all terrific. The lockbox was also handy to keep the key in during our days spent on the beach - Even if everything else would be stolen, at least we would have been able to get back into our condo! The convenient location to Christiansted made getting around the island easy, and the Food Town grocery store was just down the road. The condo itself was great and exactly as pictured. Having a full kitchen and laundry machines were immensely helpful. Plenty of towels for the two of us. Reliable wifi and air-conditioning throughout the property. Anne & Brandi were responsive to any messages we had and we had no issues from start to finish. We never wound up using the pool, but we did catch the sunrise down at the little beach area. Nice views, but quite breezy. Not sure if it's a swimmable beach - we didn't try, but it's a pleasant place to relax on the beach chairs under a palm tree. The only thing I would warn someone of would be the sound of the master bedroom air conditioner. It's extremely loud! This actually worked out to our advantage because it is a constant white noise that effectively covered up the sounds of any neighbors or reptiles and insects chirping in the night/early morning. We honestly slept really well! But if you don't plan to have the air running over night, or if you need dead silence to sleep, a smart traveler always brings ear plugs. There is an overhead fan in both bedrooms as well as the living room which were great - and an additional box fan in one of the closets. Overall, a great stay and one we would recommend to anyone!

Cute Condo near Christiansted

Nice 2BD 2 BR condo with easy access to downtown Christiansted. The pool was clean and never busy. The beach is small and not accessible. The host were great when I reached out with questions!

Great time in St Croix

Anne was great to work with. She was always quick to respond to phone calls or messages. We had an issue with a positive Covid test in our group and Anne was gracious enough to reschedule our vacation for another, with no additional cost. The wait was worth it! Thank you Anne and God bless!

Great stay

This location is close to the waterfront of Christiansted with shops and restaurants, 2 grocery stores and is on the water. I wouldn't call it beach front as there isn't a beach in front of this property. You can walk a bit down the shoreline and find a sand beach a few properties down. The pool was nice and that's the gate you go out to the water. Upon arrival at the property, the key pad is on your left before the gate. You go up 3 flights of stairs to get to this 3rd floor unit. Loved that it was a top unit, would have loved to know it was 3 sets of stairs. We did struggle with finding the unit once we were inside the gate. It's not listed in the address, at least that we could figure out. Husband tried to go into the wrong unit before we noticed something that made us think, maybe this one is the unit. The unit was just as you saw in the pictures. If it weren't for a swaying palm tree, you would have a non obstructive view of the ocean when you are looking out to the left of the balcony. Funny thing, someone said something about all you see is the parking lot. I had to change my viewing perspective, looking straight out the balcony to have that perspective. My question, who would go onto a balcony and not look toward the water? There are tall stools in the balcony as well as the large table. Enjoyed the view of the beautiful water, palm trees, and flowers of the well manicured lawn area of the property. There is a outdoor bbq grill which we thought we might use, we just never did. The living room furniture was comfortable with a plenty of tables. The big counter between the living room and kitchen was a great place to eat as well as utilize for all our "stuff" keys, maps, snacks, etc Ceiling fans in all rooms with remotes. The bedrooms do have window AC units which are noisy. I'll take that over hot any day. Thank you for the use of the snorkeling equipment. We enjoyed snorkeling at Rainbow Beach. It was cleaned before/after use. Loved the big beach towels too. Having the washer/dryer made life easier. The owners were fantastic in responding to any of my questions. There is a brochure and island map there that were really helpful too. I would recommend this unit.

Love this place!!

Absolutely beautiful. Within a 5 min drive from downtown and even more beautiful beaches. Walking distance to grocery store if needed. 5 stars all around!! Washer snd dryer in unit meant no laundry when we got home. Our flight was cancelled and the hosts accommodated us with no issues. Would definitely recommend!

Newly renovated condo is awesome! Highly recommend.

This condo was great. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The beds were heavenly, the kitchen was well stocked, and the unit was recently updated. It was nice to have a dishwasher and the washer/dryer right in the unit. I liked being on the third floor to get the view and relax on the balcony with no mosquitoes. There is dining for six outside and for two inside. Fast internet and nice TVs. The tire-reef out front harbored puffer fish, rays, lobsters, and countless colorful fish. It was our first time to this island, and the owners were full of tips and communicated so well. Highly recommend renting.

60 + senior community Quite Condos

Privately owned condos for senior community living- retirement. Very quiet. Needs updating on community shared spaces. Pool, barbecue,, small kitchen by pool all need updating - The surrounding condos also need of some love. The beach at this location is nonexistent. You have to walk to the beach next-door because the one in front of this unit looks like it literally fell off into the ocean. The condo we stayed in was recently renovated but the kitchen still needs renovation and the patio doors do not lock which the owner says is slated to be replaced by the condo association. ****On a positive note the master bedroom bed and linens are amazing. Best sleep ever! She had special touches like chocolates water liquor snorkeling equipment towels hairdryer laundry pods dishwasher pods Kleenex toilet paper “make up” towels —a lot of games for you to play -many TV channels to watch. The inside and outside furniture is new and tastefully done- colors are very quiet Beachy relaxing . Great kitchen appliances for all your needs. Patio/balcony furniture is more than adequate for your needs. AC works great controls from room to room. It does have a view if you go to the very end of the balcony unfortunately the view when you open the patio doors is the parking lot of the next complex and the smokestacks of the energy company. Personally I feel she did the best that she could with the few problems we had. With just a few more touches on the inside to make it new and Fresh. We are in our early 50s and for us this is not what we were looking for. It is not a walkable neighborhood to restaurants/bars or attractions. It did not have a beach in front of it nor was the water accessible in front of it. You definitely need a car. If you are looking for a quite place to stay where the owner takes pride in their unit this is your place.
