This updated 1920's bungalow is the perfect home away from home. It's located in Sunset Heights, less than 5 mi. from Downtown and less than 10 mi. from the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical complex. Get a neighborhood feel while still only being a short distance away from all Houston has to offer, tons of restaurants, local bars, farmers markets, shops, etc. The Li’l Blue Bungalow is fully furnished with 5-star amenities, a yard, securely gated and has a detached 2-car garage.

Kaitlin's bungalow couldn't be more perfect for a few travellers stayiing in Houston. The location is great, the house was immaculate, and our host thought of everything we could possibly need. One of the better vaction rentals we've experienced!

We had a perfect stay! The house was very well equipped and comfortable. We hosted a small Thanksgiving and the kitchen had everything we needed. I really appreciated the small touches like well stocked toilet paper and paper towels. It felt like being my own home away from home. The location was so convenient for getting around Houston.

This house is a great place to stay when in Houston. It’s got a great location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, a ton of amenities and the attention to every detail is incredible. The owner is so helpful and responds quickly to questions. We had such a great time drinking coffee on the front porch. The house is so cutely decorated and the master bath is beautiful!

We checked out the Li'l Blue Bungalow for a 4 day stay to visit our son who lives in the Heights. Everything with this place is great! A seamless check in process set the agenda for the rest of our stay. This place is well appointed, with just about anything one would need in the kitchen. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful - one even included a claw-foot tub (if that's your thing...). Bonus: there is a garage around back that you can use for your stay! We hope to get back in here the next time we visit Houston.

We definitely had a 10/10 experience at the Li'l Blue Bungalow. The house was just beautiful, VERY clean and well-appointed with all that we needed for a relaxing weekend! Kaitlin was wonderful and provided several recommendations that proved excellent. We walked to the coffee shop and the Houston Farmer's Market Saturday morning. We would definitely like to stay here again!

This is a very nice two bedroom rental. Very clean and well appointed with all the things you need. Both in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The location was perfect for us, only five minutes from my son's house.

Delightful Houston home

We loved our stay in the little blue bungalow! We were in Houston for a week over Christmas, visiting family in the area. The house is charming, well appointed, and centrally located. Secure garage. Nice plantings and tasteful seasonal decor. Loved the front and back porch, too

Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at the Lil’ Blue Bungalow! The entire home was immaculately clean and the beds were super comfortable. The home was beautifully restored to a high standard. We were able to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner for ourselves and our daughter and felt quite at home there. We appreciated the coffee and snacks and other thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. Kaitlin was very responsive to any questions we had. She also had many great dining and entertainment suggestions. We will gladly stay here again!

Birthday Vacation with Family

We loved our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the interior is decorated and each room is better than the other. The neighborhood is very quiet but a short drive to nearby restaurants and stores. We especially loved the privacy of the garage and fenced yard. This place is a treasure to find near the Heights in Houston!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. The photos do not do justice to the beautiful interior, which is beautifully decorated, with each room surpassing the others. The neighborhood is very quiet, yet it's just a short drive to nearby restaurants and stores. We particularly appreciated the privacy offered by the garage and the fenced yard. This place is truly a hidden gem near the Heights in Houston!

Super Clean & Cute Cottage

This was the cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever rented. It was very cozy and well appointed. It was easy to Uber to and from activities. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the Heights. Communication with the owner was informative and timely.

The location is great. The beds are super comfy. Kaitlin was easy to work with. The house was spotless and the parking was very easy - not always the case in the Heights. We will be back.
