We've been coming here for 3yrs now for our annual girlfriend getaway, and it has become one of our favorite traditions! This is the perfect place for a quiet girls' weekend... peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, and right on the Potomac River. The setting is absolutely wonderful, and the home gives us the perfect space to slow down, catch up, and laugh, and enjoy time together. And the owner is truly wonderful. She is incredibly easy to communicate with, thoughtful, and always so accommodating. We can't wait to stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway on the Potomac!

Our week stay was so relaxing and fun. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, views from the deck (it's my new 'happy place'!), the wildlife - ospreys, eagles, and the dolphins in the mornings.  The games and things to do were also incredibly fun.  The place was very clean, as well as beautifully decorated.  Loved the towels too!  I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing non-hectic vacation on the water!Thank you, Monica, for providing us access to your home-away-from-home!  3

We had a great experience at the cottage on the river! Monica was very helpful with suggestions and extremely receptive with our questions and concerns. It is obvious they want their guests to have an amazing vacation. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and with all of the toys/games provided, there's no need to venture out much at all! We had a wonderful time here. The house was clean, cutely decorated, and had everything we needed. There were so many things to do and play with there, so my children never got bored...and I got to enjoy some calm and quiet time while laying in the hammock, reading my book, and listening to the water. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway spot.
