Our time on the mountain.

My “framily” and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the cabin in Mentone! I went to Camp at Camp DeSoto for many years when I was a child, so I’m fairly familiar with the area. I was pleased to find that most things were basically the same and what wasn’t changed were definitely improved. The cabin was perfect! It was exactly as advertised! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderfully peaceful retreat!

Great friend getaway!

Just Browzin' was a perfect place for the 6 of us. Close to Mentone, beautiful views from the brow, a well stocked home with comfy beds and plenty of room to visit. Would definitely do a return trip!

Perfect getaway

This house is one of the best and we've stayed in many over the last 12-15 years. The living room is comfortable for the 4 of us to relax and visit, as well as the back porch overlooking the valley (through the trees). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed for comfortable showers / bathing. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was fully equipped. Highly recommend!

Mentone Getaway

We absolutely loved this house. Right on the edge of the brow and even though trees kept us from seeing the entire valley, we saw beautiful sunsets, listened to the train in the valley and watched deer in the morning and evenings. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable even for us "old folks". It was just the two of us but with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it would be great for a family!

Peaceful

Met with our family for a little getaway. It is cute and cozy but just as the description says, it is very limited in view. What would be really nice to have is good outdoor furniture that is comfortable. It would help lesson the sting of no view. Also a must: some sort of heat on porch area. It was quite chilly and we had a hard time sitting outside in evening.

Great Location and Incredible Views

My sisters and I rented Just Browzin' for a brief gathering in Mentone. It was perfect for us. It was very clean, had a great location for all of our outings, and we dearly loved the porch, views, sunsets and the train that came through the valley below. Would definitely choose this house again!

Fantastic getaway home

We had an amazing time at this home. It was very clean and very comfortable. The bed had an amazing mattress and was so incredibly comfortable. It was very pet friendly and easy access to outside for my older dogs. We will definitely rent this home again.

Mentone Revitalization

Perfect Place for R&R in Mentone. We love coming to Mentone for a "break" from daily life. We haven't been since before COVID. This place was perfect! The views, the sounds of the trains in the Valley, the proximately to town, the amenities of the cabin. The layout was just perfect, loved that everyone had a bathroom. The cabin had everything we needed. We couldn't find sheets for the pull out sofa, but 1 quick call resolved that issue quickly. We will definitely love to come back. Wish we could've stayed longer! WE had 5 adults and 1 10 yr old, and the space was everything we needed!

We had a great time!

There were clean dishes left in the dishwasher when we got there. We had to put them away. The hot water could've been way hotter. It was Luke warm but overall it was a great place to stay!

Brow View

We enjoyed some down time in Mentone and this cabin was very nice. There were a few little things that were not really too serious. The toilet seats in two bathrooms were broken. And as mentioned in previous reviews, there are lots of sounds between the two floors. I have not really stayed in a 2 story cabin, but you can hear every movement from upstairs. But i played some white noise on my phone and it helped some. The cabin was pretty clean, but as mentioned before, some dust in the window sills and the vent for the central unit. But i would recommend this cabin and its view to anyone. I did strip the beds and put a load of towels in the washer and loaded the dishwasher as asked in the welcome letter. However, for what fees you pay, that should not be expected in my opinion. Overall a good experience. And a much needed getaway. But go Thurs through Sat if you want to see Mentone shops. Awesome cabin

What a fantastic cabin!! It was so clean and cozy with everything you would need. The host was so kind and easy to work with. Great memories were made and plan to return to Just Browzin real soon. Five stars all around!

Lovely Mentone!

We loved the place! Great space! Clean(except window sills and window ledges-but I let the owner know!) Everything else was very clean! The beds were so comfortable! Loved the fact that they don't use smelly cleaners and laundry detergent! For people with allergies and asthma this is so important! Especially loved the kitchen and deck! One thing, could use some better pans for cooking eggs, bacon etc. Many pots available , just not enough large frying pans. Thank you for everything!

Trip for our Dad

My sister and i wanted to take our Dad on a little getaway. Our Mom passed away in Jan 2020. They had been married 59 years 9 months. He is also a full time pastor at age 84. We found Just Browsing and decided that was the place to stay. We had a great time with our Dad and our husbands. Lots of laughs and memories made. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful cabin.
