Designer-decorated cabin, featuring scenic views for miles, hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, fire pit, smart TVs, & WIFI. All are just 1 mile from downtown Mentone & 5 minutes from DeSoto Falls. We just added stainless steel appliances. Each bedroom has a private bath or a private half bath. Full bath off the den for people on the queen sleeper sofa in front of the fireplace.

The fall/winter view is amazing. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the adults loved a warm fire at night. We didn’t see any deer this trip but did have an evening visitor spin a web for us our last night. This is the best stocked cabin we’ve ever stayed in. The amenities are numerous and appreciated !!!

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The communication between VRBO was a bit cumbersome but communication with the owner was fine.

Host was great. Answered questions in timely manner with return phone call. Cabin was well furnished. Great location within 1 mile of Mentone so easy access to places we were familiar with. Would gladly return for another overnight stay.

Loved the place. Beautiful clean cabin. Enjoyed the large hot tub. Trees could be trimmed back for a better Mountain View. The fire was cozy every night. Large tubs in the bathrooms were nice. Water could be a little hotter. Would definitely stay here again.

Little dusty under beds. Hot tub water was a little murky, but that may be normal. Didn’t stop us from enjoying it though! Might want to think about a grab bar or two in the showers for us old people!

Exactly as advertised!

Lovely cabin high on the ridge in Mentone. Close to Fort Payne and the falls. Clean and comfortable, perfect for our girl's trip. Our host was extremely nice, helpful and responded quickly to requests. You will love this cabin.

Our time on the mountain.

My “framily” and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the cabin in Mentone! I went to Camp at Camp DeSoto for many years when I was a child, so I’m fairly familiar with the area. I was pleased to find that most things were basically the same and what wasn’t changed were definitely improved. The cabin was perfect! It was exactly as advertised! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderfully peaceful retreat!

Great friend getaway!

Just Browzin' was a perfect place for the 6 of us. Close to Mentone, beautiful views from the brow, a well stocked home with comfy beds and plenty of room to visit. Would definitely do a return trip!

Perfect getaway

This house is one of the best and we've stayed in many over the last 12-15 years. The living room is comfortable for the 4 of us to relax and visit, as well as the back porch overlooking the valley (through the trees). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed for comfortable showers / bathing. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was fully equipped. Highly recommend!

Mentone Getaway

We absolutely loved this house. Right on the edge of the brow and even though trees kept us from seeing the entire valley, we saw beautiful sunsets, listened to the train in the valley and watched deer in the morning and evenings. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable even for us "old folks". It was just the two of us but with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it would be great for a family!

Peaceful

Met with our family for a little getaway. It is cute and cozy but just as the description says, it is very limited in view. What would be really nice to have is good outdoor furniture that is comfortable. It would help lesson the sting of no view. Also a must: some sort of heat on porch area. It was quite chilly and we had a hard time sitting outside in evening.

My wife and I have just started our family and my wife is a Nurse. We manage the business for our family. I have a hospitality degree and love making sure our guests have a 5-star experience.
