Everything should've been very clear and easily understood when you researched our property, as accurate pictures and description are provided. It is the guest's responsibility to do their due diligence when booking a property. We, as hosts, cannot understand a listing for you. Please make sure to read about and look at all of the photos the next time you reserve a room so you can avoid being disappointed.

Thank you, Kelly! It was great hosting you. I'm sorry about the confusion finding the gate at first. Usually VRBO sends the check-in instructions three days before the trip so people know when to check in, how to find the room, parking space, etc..

Thank you for your feedback, Ken. As we explained, for years everyone in the neighborhood, including ourselves would park on the street with no problem. You were the first person that ever had an issue and we are very sorry about that, but it wasn't exactly in our control. We still have parking and there have been no issues since your stay. As for the location of the bathroom, it is very clear in the description as a 'cabana bathroom' there are also photos of the bathroom. One must simply take the time to read and comprehend a listing. It is the guest's responsibility to do their due diligence when booking a VRBO, and to make sure they understand what they're getting. I am always available and happy to answer questions!

I'm sorry that you didn't feel that the accommodations were private enough; we definitely make a point to give our guests their space and this just hasn't ever been an issue. There is a table and chairs inside of the room, for guests preferring a private indoor eating space that could've been utilized.. There is also the drop leaf table and chairs in room's designated outdoor space next to the kitchenette that guests usually love to use just outside of their room. As for the temperature concerns; the bathroom is advertised as a cabana, which means it is on the pool deck. We have the AC blasting on hot days, so I'm thinking one of you must have forgotten to close the door to the room, because the thermostat was keeping everywhere else indoors cool. Also, I noticed that you didn't use the heater provided, or the ceiling & other fans, or the extra blankets. I really think had this been done, you would've been much more comfortable. Springtime temps have a lot of fluctuation, so we provide items for our guests to use, so that they can be more comfortable. We were more than happy to accommodate your every request promptly, but there are some things that guests can to do to ensure their own comfort and happiness.

Thank you for your feedback, Robert. We just purchased the home and there have been many improvements, including spray foam insulation for sound-proofing, plus more to come. It gets chilly in Florida in February, so pool water is not going to be warm anywhere, unless there is a heater, (which most hosts charge extra for). We do not advertise a pool heater in the listing, nor do we claim to be ultra modern. This listing is tailored to guests that love being outdoors and enjoy a relaxed, Old Florida vibe at an affordable price.

This person tried to SCAM me. I responded to ALL messages on the VRBO app and never received anything about any problem, including locking a door (which no one has ever had). When guests actually contact me with real issues, we respond instantly - hence all of our other great reviews. This person is a LIAR and did not mention anything on the app until almost two weeks after checkout when she demanded a full refund. These are the actions of a very low IQ, scammer wannabe.
