We are ready to host you after hurricane Fiona. Our property didn’t suffer damages and we have power, water and internet. Roads are in good conditions and the beach is beautiful.

Walk-up penthouse apartment walking distance to El Combate beach, sleeps up to 6. Access directly from Vistamar common area garden towards a walkway directly into the beach. Excellent for couples, families, solo adventurers as well. Fully air-conditioned. Free laundry. Free WiFi.

Building is a walk-up condo. No elevator. The apartment is on the 3rd floor facing the Caribbean Sea, Combate beach. Kids playground area and pool w/gazebo. From pool gazebo you will find private gate to get to Combate beach.

If you like Nature, Beach, Bird Watching, hiking, and exploring on your bike the various trails in the area… you will love Cabo Rojo!

Wonderful to hear the waves crashing right up to our place. Great location for exploring the west side of the island around the Rincón area. Lots to do very close by.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at Combate beach. The condo was well equipped with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay—beach chairs and beach towels were a wonderful touch. Loved the sunsets on the rooftop, was nice to have the extra space upstairs. Hope to be back again soon!

Fantastic View

The condo overlooks a lagoon that borders the sea. It's a fantastic landscape. The lagoon is part of a national park, which you can hike. Unique spot. Condo is tastefully appointed. Rooftop balcony is a treat. Perfect for a beach stay.

Good Beach Vacation Rental

Great property, clean, beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor with access to the terrace which was a plus, we loved it. Five minute walk to the beach. Beach accessories provided (Cart, chairs, cooler, etc.). Would definitely rent again. Thank you Maria !

2 nd times staying at same unit. Very nice. Only thing is too many mosquitos in unit. And as I get older the 4th floor walk up is a workout. Host and listing agent were great as always.

Nice condo. Wonderful upper deck for viewing ocean and evening stars. Great location. Beautiful ocean view. Maria was especially helpful for any of our requests or questions. Great place to stay if you like miles of beautiful beach within a 5 minute walk as well as many other close by beaches!

Great beach vibe!

We enjoyed our week in this condo. The beach and beach path were wonderful! We also enjoyed watching the iguanas in the tree tops. The closeness of Annie's Place and The Combate Beach Hotel for breakfast was a plus. The only downside was that the key to get into the building was a bit bent and very difficult to get out. Since there were 3 adults it would have been helpful to havve a second set of keys.

Enjoyable Stay

Very nicely appointed condo. We have stayed at another unit at this location in 2019. It is on the 4th floor so you need good legs to manage it. Rooftop view is great. The walk to the beach is less than 3 min outside your gate and onto the sand. We will be returning. Have rented units through Maria before and have never been dissapointed

Cute getaway

While this place was a cute little getaway, tucked away in Cabo Rojo, we were disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the place. There were crumbs of food on the floors, counters, and chairs. We found used towels still hanging the bedrooms, which made us worried the entire place hadn’t been clean. There was an excessive amount of spiders and earwigs inside the home. The home is darling and had potential to be comfortable. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels. Rooftop space was the highlight of our stay!

Perfect Stay

Rooftop patio!!! Sunset happy hours! Perfect location to walk to the beach. The place was super clean. Second bathroom is upstairs by the patio, but that worked just fine for us. One bedroom does not have a closet or drawers - I did use two storage cubes that had extra bedding in them as my drawers. It did have a full length mirror that you could hang stuff on a bar behind it and lots of hooks on the door and wall. Nice big closet in the other bedroom, but still no dresser or drawers to unpack. Always nice to have a kitchen. There were a few items - coffee and filters, salt, pepper, sugar. Bring your own washcloths. Overall a great stay. You can't beat the location and Maria the host responds quickly to any questions. We would stay here again!

Great Unit and Location

Property was neat and clean. Everything was as listed in the ad. Rooftop had nice views. (2nd bathroom is upstairs but not an issue). Unit had beach chairs, dominoe tables, buggy for the beach, grill- everything you need for a great beach stay. My only drawback was I had difficulty getting in the unit but it turns out that an email with details was sent but I never got it. (probably user error on my part but the host did send it) If your looking for super modern, upscale sheek- this is not for you. If you want that homey, relaxed, i'm on an island beach type of vibe- this is the place. Next time I stay on the West side of the island i'll be looking to book here again!!!

Combate 2023

Our After the Holidays vacation was great. Ms.Preston’s place was as advertised ( if not better ). As a ex pat local I know the area well . It’s beaches and wildlife sanctuaries are amazing. Some, such as the Light House trails are not up to scratch due to the lack of funds for the PRDNR. Accessing them could be challenging but rewarding. it’s important to understand that over the weekends the noise level will be high, as people like to blast music from boat to boat and camp to camp. They seem to miss the point of being at the sea. The unit is excellent with an amazing view of the coast. It’s sunny and breezy and the AC is mostly for when the winds shift from sea to hills and the “ dead hours “ set in. The only issue we had was he lack of hot water. The owner was responsive and immediately sent the handy man but the issue was more complex than time permitted . We enthusiastically recommend this property.
