This family home is located a short walk to the Sachem trail. The multi-level arrangement offers ample space to enjoy cooking in the kitchen, lounging in the living room, hanging out in the lower level recreation room, or soaking in the private hot tub.

After a fun day on the trail or the slopes, guests will love returning to the entertainment and leisure offered at this home. It's the ideal vacation location whether you're an outdoor buff or a cozy homebody.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

amazing stay! the only issues we had was the smell of sewage throughout the downstairs hallway and sometimes the bathroom.

The ski cabin was exactly as described - the Jacuzzi hot tub, wood fireplace, and excellent cozy sleeping arrangements were the highlights of our stay. Moreover the cabin was just a mile from the Okemo Mountain skiing resort, which made it ideal. We loved everything about the ski cabin we rented. Can’t wait to be back!

Lower level of this home including bunk room is not heated. Hot tub water was green and disgusting.No use of the fireplace.Kitchen didn’t have adequate cups and utensils.

Great little ski home right on the mountain. Walk right to slopes (pro tip: walk a few steps uphill and get on Sunburst in the morning, to skip the slow base lift below)The rooms were fine, but be aware the walls are thin and/or partial-height, so it’s a bit intimate. I’d call it a “cabin” style setup.Hot tub was great, kitchen bathrooms etc were good enough. Parking fine for 3-4 cars.The fireplace had a “do not use” sign, but it was advertised as an amenity, so we inquired and got permission. A small discrepancy, but on that note…The Vacasa management was a downside: upon check-in the electric keypad had a low battery, and only worked intermittently (locking us out sometimes). We notified vacasa but nobody came during the weekend to look at it. We also asked for extra towels (for hot tub), and they simply told us no… lol.Comms went to a call center, making it impersonal at best. A bit disappointing. Regardless, this place was a great value for a small ski group. Location is a rare gem at this mountain; it’s simple but all we needed, especially for the price. Overall, I’d recommend.

A Good Ole Time :)

This Vrbo has been housing people since the 1960's, and we're so glad to be a part of this place's history It is truly a timeless home within a beautiful area with great outdoor activites, generous people and good food (we recommend The Hatchery). Both showers (the top floor shower and the middle floor) did have a leak, but our hosts responded quickly to our concerns and addressed them within a timely manner :)

Great Cabin

Had a business retreat with 6 associates. The cabin was great and operated as one would expect for a ski cabin. Nice fire place and hot tub. The TVs are older so they have a hard time connecting to the WIFI for Netflix, Prime, etc. I recommend bringing agame console aor

Classic A frame

Great spot for a group trip. It’s an d A Frame Ski house. Nothing overly fancy but a cozy spot for a ski trip. Great fireplace room. Walk yo the ski slopes. The basement area could use a sprucing up but for a boys trip to the slopes it met expectations!

Good house for family with kids

Really awesome hot tub. The Jets were the strongest Jets I’ve ever felt. I loved it. It’s about a four or five minute walk in ski boots to get to the trail.House was adequately stocked for cooking. I do always bring my own pans and knives.They need to restock the forks apparently everybody must’ve thrown them in the garbage. Overall, great house I’d recommend it for families with kids.

Great location, rustic so set expectations

Beautiful location on the mountain with easy access to hikes and Okemo lift. For summer visits basement has AC but rest of house does not. Rustic - open ceiling and no insulation between floors. Fine if you expect it and plan to spend majority of time outdoors but hard if group isn’t on the same schedule. Good living room and basement area for entertainment/family games. Full kitchen set. Gas grill, fireplace, hot tub were all nice.

Great location, poorly maintained home.

Disappointing stay Leaking showers from one upstairs bathroom to the one in the first floor Door locks not secured- door swung open in the middle of the light making us feel unsafe and cold If you want any comforts of home, bring them with you, this house isn’t equipped to make living in it comfortable. Fireplace and hot tub are positives but overall couldn’t wait to leave

All issues from other reviews resolved - awesome little house!

I was nervous reading about issues in other reviews, but we didn’t have a single problem. Both showers had plenty of hot water, access was a breeze, hot tub worked great and it was clean and comfortable. I had 9 people with us - teens and adults. The layout made it possible for us all to hang out as we wanted. Kitchen had a big pot for pasta and a griddle which made breakfasts easy. Great location made it easy for the kids to pop back for lunch. We had one little issue with the alarm when the internet went out and Vacasa responded immediately and even sent someone out to make sure it was resolved. Overall this is a perfect place to stay with a big group right next to the mountain.

Disappointing; not recommended

- food in oven - upstairs shower wouldn’t stay warm causing everyone to use the same shower - no support by property owner, called every day - upstairs tv never fixed during stay - pots and pans unusable and rusted - enough silverware for 5 people (baby silverware in abundance) - upstairs wall didn’t go to ceiling, same for toilet. - washer pipes leaked; maintenance never came so I had to get my tools to fix myself. - paid premium prices and got the worst rental I ever stayed. -

Nice time

All in all it was a great trip. The place was very cute and as described. The upstairs bedrooms are not for light sleepers as the walls only go so far up so they are not really divided. I had read this in other reveiws but honestly for us it wasn't a problem. We went as a family group and it was kind of nice to be able to lay in bed and talk to the others in the room next to you. When we got there the hot tub was so hot that we were not able to get in. Maybe a problem with the thermostat but Exel from Vacasa had called to ask how everything was and I told him and he came right over and got it all fixed for us. I was very happy with Vacasa for the way they handled everything and Exel was very nice and even put us in for a discount for the time that we didn't have use of the hot tub. There were little things as in other reviews like the carpet is stained and the showers are small but all of that is easy to overlook when you feel like Vacasa was so attentive and responsive to your concerns. They even called us before we even arrived to ask if we were satisfied with everything. Thanks for a great time.

False advertising, dirty, dated, not maintained or cleaned.

Dirty old house with bad plumbing and worse customer service. We arrived to feces floating in the overflowing toilet, inadequate hot water, non-functioning plumbing, broken door to deck, dead mouse, dirty sheets, unmade beds, icy driveway and walkway. Dealing with Vacasa's terrible customer service made for a very difficult vacation. When you contact the property manager you are routed to a call center that provides no help to deal with issues. AVOID this property and do not rent from Vacasa!!! We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world and this is by far the worst experience that we have had.

Ants, Dead Mouse, Bad Outlets - Not ideal.

Check in was easy, but upon arrival noticed the house smelled very musty. There was a dead mouse on the patio by the grill that appears to have been there for a while, and the upstairs bathroom had ants. Overall cleanliness was poor, between the mouse/ants and musty smell from the couches/furniture. In getting settled in we noticed multiple outlets in the kitchen did not work. As others have mentioned, there is no ceiling separating the upstairs bedrooms, but there is also no ceiling separating the bedrooms from the upstairs bathroom which means there is not really much privacy. Air hockey table does not work. This place very much feels like it is a vacation home that has been put up online with no additional effort taken to add the sort of hospitality touches you would expect from a property that costs more than most places in town for two nights with fees included. We made it work for the weekend but all agreed this vrbo was the weakest part of the trip.

The home that time forgot

We were excited to get away for a few days after Christmas, but disappointed with the quality of the stay. The home had great potential, but we would not have spent the money to stay there if we knew what we were getting ourselves into. The home was filled with cobwebs and smelled of wet dog throughout. The hot tub was locked when we arrived with no instruction how to gain access. We were lucky to stumble on the key in the laundry room, but perhaps it would have been better if we hadn’t considering the mold/mildew smell that came when the jets were operating. The home lacked a guest book or information on the area and didn’t have any checkout instructions. The listing indicated there was cable, but there were no cable boxes or instructions on how the televisions worked. The hot water was inconsistent and ranged from freezing to scalding without even adjusting the faucet. This was our worst experience with VRBO and Vacasa (as the property manager). To end on a positive note, the location of the house was wonderful and close to Okemo resort.

The chalet was disappointing. When we arrived the toilets had not been cleaned and the chalet, although having nice bones has been poorly maintained. One sink is coming away from the wall, broken lampshades, soiled rug, poor assortment of broken pots and pans. everything was in disarray in the cabinets. I found myself organizing the drawers just to function. I took a knife out of the knife block, and it was filthy . It was very difficult to cook, which is one thing we love to do together. We tried to vacuum and clean up a little bit ourselves. We found hardly any cleaning supplies the vacuum just rotated dirt. We were there three days and they left us exactly 3 pods for the dishwasher and a tiny vial of dishwashing liquid , no dish towels. The hot tub that was advertised as part of our stay was empty. When I contacted the property manager Vacasa, they just texted they are sorry that things were not as we expected. The answers were weird and empty. I believe we were communicating with AI. It was a really a shame, because the chalet could have been pretty and had plenty of bedrooms and beds. The only positives I can say is we had clean sheets and plenty of clean towels the bathrooms were relatively clean, other than the toilets. The fireplace was nice and we had plenty of wood.

Disappointing home.

The house is smaller than pictures suggest, the fireplace / TV area is fine for 4 adults, no more. We could not get the other TV/entertainment center in the basement to work. There is a bad sewage smell in the basement staircase where the main waste pipe is exposed, apparently the fix is to put air fresheners all over the place on the baseboards. The Foosball and Air Hockey tables are broken and unusable and should be trashed. Many of the kitchen chairs need the arms repaired. Multiple burners on the stove need repaired and the oven took 30 minutes to reach 350°, gas smell filled to house every use. The cleaning left alot to be desired, cobwebs in the ceiling, couches arent cleaned underneath or under cushions which we unfortunately discovered retrieving some of our kids toys. I would not recommend putting kids in the 4 bunk room, its tiny and in the basement which smells. Full bed upstairs squeaks horribly and needs repaired or replaced. For a group or family of 5 or 6 the house might be fine, certainly not for what the house is listed to sleep. With all the problems this house has, fixing some major issues along with a little tlc would turn it into a charming ski house in a good location.

This home was insanely awesome for the value. Did a guys ski trip for 6 adults and everyone had their own room. Check-in was seamless. Plenty of parking for as many cars as you can creatively fit. The layout inside had plenty of room for everyone with giant cozy chairs and a couch and a dining room table that seats six, but no more than six. The kitchen is well-equipped with a Wolf gas stove/oven and a Sub-zero oversized fridge. Plenty of room for meal prep and food storage. The bedrooms. Excellent. Also well-equipped and I have to say; I got the best sleep I’ve gotten in a decade in the bedroom off the kitchen. Bathrooms. Sufficient and clean. Well lit. I think it worked out to be one bathroom per two bedrooms, with two sleeping arrangements on each floor and a bathroom. Hot tub. Don’t miss out on the hot tub. It was so amazing and we had zero complaints. No off odors that anyone could identify and the water was hot and bubbly. Just when you go to open the top and you move the topper off, have two people do it because the frame is compromised so you’ll just need two people to handle it safely. Slope access. When you walk out, you’ll have a walk up the road about 3 properties long to reach the access trail. It’s clearly marked and that will put you on Sachem Trail. Coordinate with Guest Services in the main lodge for a van ride back to the house for ultimate convenience. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Memories will be made.
