Lovely large family home with 100’ of water frontage on Lake Winnipesaukee. Located in a quiet cove, with a private 80 foot sandy beach with a shallow easy entry into the water, as well as a private dock that is big enough for your 25 foot boat. Come and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the amazing views of Mt Major. Prime location,15 minutes away from downtown Wolfboro, and 20 minutes away from Gunstock Mountain.

We loved this property and will be back! The owner made the check in and checkout process very easy. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Great beach and dock as well. Loved everything about it!

Summer 2023

My family and I had a great time in Alton Bay. The property was very well maintained. The beach was gorgeous and great for little ones (we had a 5 year old). We took the kayaks and paddle boards out daily. Lots of room to spread out, we had a party of 12. Beautiful views of the lake from multiple rooms. I do wish it had laundry access, but otherwise it was perfect.

Birthday/New Year getaway

Awesome location and a beautiful home overlooking Alton Bay. We had so much fun playing games around the large kitchen table and ate amazing food we prepared in the very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for pool and ping pong in the basement and plenty of shopping close by for the ladies. The boys found safe ice not far for an afternoon of fishing and we are already planning another trip back! The hosts were amazing and provided us with a perfect getaway.

Lake winni boat week

Every year we go to winni with the kids as a family vacation. The house was great and the kids said several times it was the best yet. We were a big group and my only feedback was we couldn’t wash the towels to help the fantastic hosts because we didn’t have access to the washer and dryer . I would 100% go back year after year.

This wonderful home was neat and clean. It had all the amenities we needed for the week. It had comfortable gathering areas and a wonderful downstairs game room. The large eating table easily seated 12 of us for meals and was perfect for board game nights. The deck off the kitchen/dining room gave us a lovely view of the lake while we grilled our burgers. The bedroom set up worked well for our group and all the beds were so, so comfortable. A clean wide private beach with a fire pit provided for a nice “S’mores night” with star watching. We brought rafts with us, but there were several provided by the home owners as well. All in all, we all had such a wonderful week in this house and were sad to leave. We have no complaints about this house, everything was perfect! It was our lucky find.
