We had a rather big problem when getting to the property that the owner had changed the lockbox code the previous day and not told the property manager. So our group of eight were stuck outside at 2 am wondering what we were doing wrong. The spare key had also been removed so there was simply no way in. We taxied back to the airport and waited for a response from the hotline. Stay-In were very quick to respond and apologise and seek a refund for the night we missed and the extra taxi fares (haven't seen that yet though). Overall the property was beautiful. There are some serious issues with the shower drainage which we have mentioned. Things like handsoap and towels were in short supply, and beware of the extra charge for power if you use too much. Other than that, this property is gorgeous. The beds are firm, which I like, the view is spectacular, and there is enough space to spread out if you are a large group. Getting to the property is fairly easy once you know your way around and is not far from the airport or town.

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback and for choosing Villa Green M for your stay in Tahiti. First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apologize for the situation you encountered upon your arrival. The code for the keypad had indeed been changed the day before for security reasons, but unfortunately, this information was not communicated to our manager in time. We fully understand that this may have been frustrating at such a late hour. However, we are glad that our team was able to respond and assist you quickly. Following this incident, we have strengthened our procedures to ensure that this does not happen again. Regarding the spare key, it is available on site, but for security reasons it is not given to guests by default. It remains accessible in case of emergency through our team. We also thank you for your comment about the shower drain: the system has an automatic safety mechanism that can temporarily block the flow when a filter is clogged. This has since been checked and adjusted. Your feedback regarding towels, soap, and electricity consumption has also been taken into account. Tahiti has one of the highest electricity costs in the world, which is why we try to raise awareness among travelers about responsible electricity consumption. Bed linen is provided for the number of travelers listed on the reservation. If you would have liked more towels, this could have been arranged upon request during your stay.
