1 Bedroom/1 Bath in the Summit located on a quiet street with quick access to hiking and the Lakes Basin. Sleeps 4
The Condo: Sleep up to four people with a King bed in the bedroom, a pull out Queen sofa bed with a new memory foam mattress, and a Twin daybed. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishware and cookware you need for a tasty home cooked meal, including a crockpot and rice cooker. A sunny south facing porch with a view of large pines and the mountains makes a lovely venue for a morning coffee.

Location: Located at the base of the Eagle lift, there's hiking up Mammoth Mountain straight out the door. Also nearby is the town path which is paved and wraps around through the woods is an excellent place to take walks. There's no need to drive to the nearby restaurants or The Village as there's a town trolley stop right nearby. The Lakes Basin is a 10 minute drive away and allows for great hiking, fishing, boating and swimming all summer long!
Amenities: A sauna located just down the hall provides options for relaxing after a rewarding day in the outdoors. The unit has an assigned garage parking spot for one vehicle and street parking is allowed May 1 - Oct. 31 so you won't have to worry about finding parking. Other complex amenities include outdoor gas grills, pool (open seasonally) a gym and in building laundry.

Disclaimers:
Garage parking for a second vehicle is available first come first serve. Street parking is available May 1 - October 31. The nearby Eagle Express Lift does not operate for summer skiing or mountain biking. Some amenities may be closed for routine maintenance or repairs at HOA discretion.

Great place for a family

Nice first floor condo very close to Eagle Lodge

This is a nice condo with a wood fireplace, deck, and underground parking. It’s a 10 minute walk to Eagle lodge, and the hot tubs were very close. Nice room at a good rate.

Excellent choice!

Everything was accurately described, beautifully decorated, the beds were all super comfortable. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this place-especially wearing ski boots - a short walk!

Snowboarding trip

You can’t beat the location, you’re a 2 minute walk from Eagle Lodge and we really enjoyed being able to take a break and have lunch at the apartment and being able to spend some time with our dog. The place is clean, well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked. We’ll definitely keep this place in mind for our next boarding trip!

The house was very clean and a great convenience location by Eagle. Unfortunately the ski lift closed the next day so we still had to drive to Canyon Lodge. There was also a small mishap when we checked in- we found filled doggy bags at the balcony, and that was removed the next day. Additionally for a family of 4, we were only given 2 small single pack of shower gel. We got a refill the next day. Conclusively, it was clean where there were no signs of dust and dog fur, could have been a great location, but the customer service could have been more preemptive and more prompt.

Nice place Super convenient

Nice little condo, just across the street from the Eagle lift. Overall we had a great stay. Could’ve been a few more blankets to go around. Also we couldn’t get a fire started, I think the wood wasn’t dry enough. No biggie. Great place to stay. Thanks for having us.

Perfect

We have been going to Mammoth Lakes every summer for 11 years. This condo is the best place we have stayed in and we hope to stay there again next summer. It is tastefully decorated , very light and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and organized. Caution: don't lock the bathroom door, it is hard to unlock.

Clean, easy access to Eagle Lodge

Property overall was great. The parking garage was very dark but glad to have covered parking. The only thing that was tough was the bathroom sliding door which isn’t that accessible. We got stuck inside and the door isn’t the easiest to maneuver.

If you have trouble during your stay, I encourage you to contact your VR manager while you are in the property, as they may well be prepared to handle your concerns. We have 18 full time staff members in our housekeeping, maintenance and guest services departments who we can call upon to resolve problems. If this happens, or if you are concerned about problems with a unit you are considering, please call our offices at Mammoth Five Star Lodging. We have staff available by phone or email, 7 days/week, 9am-6pm (Pacific) to ensure you book exactly the property you want and to address issues that may come up during your stay. We are happy to help if you will just give us the chance.

Only 1 Fish caught

Unfortunately it rained most the weekend. The condo unit was nicely decorated. The main building still showed signed of damage from the extreme winter. Also my wife caught our only fish and I got skunked for the first time.

Megan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and brings an extensive background in hospitality management, sales, and marketing. Her expertise has also led her to serve as a consultant for other resort management companies, helping elevate hospitality standards throughout the industry.

In 2026, the Oepkes family joined Megan as partners in Mammoth Five Star Lodging, bringing years of hospitality experience serving guests throughout the Eastern Sierra. Together, they share a common vision: offering premier short-term vacation rentals complemented by personalized, attentive service that consistently exceeds expectations.

Originally from Carlsbad, California, the Oepkes family has been vacationing in Mammoth Lakes for more than 50 years, spanning three generations. In addition to their extensive hospitality experience in the Eastern Sierra, the family has successfully managed hospitality operations in both Hawaii and Texas. In Hawaii, they provided full-service short-term vacation rental management for a portfolio of 25 properties, overseeing every aspect of the guest and homeowner experience.
