Amazing unit and location! The unit is just a short walk to the Village and Gondola using the ski back trail/bridge. We were able to get everywhere we needed this way, from skiing to the New Year's Eve fireworks at the Village, no driving necessary. The entire unit was spotless and all the rooms exceeded our expectations. Plenty of space for our family including teens, adults and even a grandparent. The kitchen was also very well stocked and everything was easy to find. The ski closet right outside the door was also super handy, and the easy to use gas fireplace was a perk. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a very good location and cozy. It had all the amenities we needed and a very quick walk to the village and gondolas. Host was communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again if my future trips match up.

I'd definitely recommend this home and owner for enoying the Mammoth Lakes area. The place is centrally located near the hot spots of town and has a fully stocked kitchen. Super clean and safe environment.

Spring Ski Trip

Location and condo were exactly as described in the photos. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Twin beds were actually comfortable (which is rare!). Community hot tub was not available (under construction?) but host was up front about that at the time of booking and offered a free refund. Location was convenient to the Village and to the Village gondola (walkable even in ski boots). We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo had all we needed. Great location - we were next to the Village, an easy walk to the Gondola. Updated and spotless too. Host is very responsive and accessible!

Wonderful place, clean, updated, and great location

This is a great property and great location! It took us a while to figure it out, but there's a trail you can use to ski into the property... and you can take the gondola up. Additionally, a bridge walks you right into the village, giving you easy access to restaurants and bars. Can't remember if they listed it as ski in/out... but it basically is once you figure it out. We were a family of 4. Dad, mom, a nine, and six year old. The place was PLENTY big for us. We could have had the grandparents or a friend come along. It's very nice and updated. They have a tankless water heater so you can take that nice, long hot shower getting off the mountain. It's well decorated, the furniture is comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, the grill actually worked and was clean, etc. There are two things to note. That's more that we didn't pay attention to in the listing. There's no washer and dryer in the unit if you're packing light. You have 2 parking spots but they are outside. Without thinking about it, most of our rentals in Mammoth have had in-door parking. We never noticed how nice that was until our stay. It DUMPED. we had to shovel into and out of our parking spot. Not a fault of the owner... we just didn't pay attention. We had a couple of very minor issues and the owner was on it. VERY COMMUNICATIVE and nice. Couldn't ask for anything more.

This condo has been in our family for over 25yrs. We live in San Diego, CA and have three growth adult children that leaned to ski at Mammoth. While our favorite time of year is winter, we also thoroughly enjoy the beautiful Summer weather and the year-around activities Mammoth has to offer.

Even before the The Village was built, this was a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet close to the lifts and shuttle service. We've stayed in a lot of different condo complexes in Mammoth and feel the Val D'Isere can't be beat! And now that our unit has a completely remodeled upstairs, the unit has never been nicer!

Val D'Isere was always a great location, but now with The Village right across the street, it's an UNBELIEVABLE location! Far enough away not to get all the late night noise, but close enough to shop, eat, or get the morning cup of coffee in a 5 minute walk!
