Deer are frequently seen, yet protected, at this 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin centrally located to downtown Mentone, DeSoto Falls and DeSoto State Park. Come enjoy relaxing, spending time with family, playing games, football, your favorite program on a large screen TV, fire pit, hot tub and the wildlife that enjoy the area. This cottage offers a gas log fireplace, wifi, full kitchen appliances and lines.

It was the perfect peaceful haven after one of the worst weeks. Relaxing in the hot tub watching the deer and enjoying conversation around the fire with friends and family was just perfect.

This property was semi-private yet warming atmosphere! This place was stocked with the bare essentials such as cookware and what was needed such as linens. There was a cold snap while I was there so the host messaged me letting me know that there were going to come by to cover the outdoor spigots, so I appreciated the heads up. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and I received all the information ahead of time. I will say that I did notice a few cobwebs, mouse droppings, and insects and would need to be better cleaned for future reservations. As I know that this property is situated around woods, I would have expected a deeper clean prior to our arrival.

We loved everything about this cozy cabin! Our favorite was being in the hot tub and having the deer come up to eat the provided corn. We will definitely be back!

The location was amazing! Very peaceful. Rain on a tin roofpure bliss. The deer that came to visit were so sweet. The small details added (like corn to feed the deer) just made the place even more adorable. The host was very responsive. Would love to stay here again. Great little getaway.

Cabin was very clean. Beds were comfortable. My 5 siblings and I spent 4 nights and was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the deer in the mornings.

Just what we needed for a couple days away! The house was clean and conveniently located to the places we wanted to visit. The hot tub was perfect after days of hiking. Getting to see the deer was a nice bonus.

4th of July weekend!

Second timers

We select this property because the house is perfect and the property is large and level for our trailered motorcycles. The house is adorable and very clean. You don't need to bring a thing for the kitchen. The area is just a few miles from the Little River canyon and about 40 miles from Cloudland State Park in Ga.All the beautiful country homes and farms are well manicured and the roads have no trash!
