Introducing Admiral Quarters. Located in the heart of downtown Boothbay Harbor, this sunlit top-floor penthouse is within walking distance of everything, including restaurants, nightlife, and whale-watching tours. You're also just one block away from the waterfront, so you can easily book fishing, boating, and sailing tours. Head to Cap'n Fish and search for minke and humpback whales surfacing along the Maine coastline, or book a trip aboard the Schooner Eastwind and tour the Burnt and Ram island lighthouses. Winter nights are aglow at Boothbay's Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens! Maine's largest light display just got even more extensive, with over 360,000 LED lights illuminating the central gardens and buildings and drawing festive crowds from all over.

Step through the entry door off Commercial Street and two flights of stairs to get to this fabulous, tastefully decorated penthouse. To the right of the stairs is a generous open floor space with polished hardwood flooring throughout, featuring a spacious living area with a full-size sofa bed, a separate sitting area, and a 48' TV to relax after a day of sightseeing. The living area will lead to a light-filled dining area with a glass-top table. Ready to whip up a vacation-worthy feast? A contemporary kitchen features many appliances, including an electric stove-oven combo, microwave, and dishwasher. Extras include a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig machine.

The primary bedroom is situated to the right of the living area. Sprawl on a plush bed and watch a show on the 32' TV. Enjoy blackout curtains, a closet, and a dresser. Get ready for the day in the en suite bathroom, detailed with a marble vanity and glass walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom includes blackout curtains, a 32' TV, and an en suite bathroom. Complimentary WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided. Your vacation rental includes portable air-conditioning units and heated floors.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Boothbay Harbor get-away

This two bedroom, two bath 3rd floor apartment in the center of town is perfect! We walked to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront-it’s all right there! One parking spot is about 1 1/2 blocks away but a quick walk and safe. The blue and white decor is just right for a harbor village. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and everything was very good quality. I hope this apartment is available next time I visit Boothbay Harbor because I want to stay here again!

Boothbay Get-away

This two bedroom, two bath apartment in the center of Boothbay Harbor was perfect in every way. My husband, grown son and I very very comfortable in the space. The location is convenient to everything- shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Parking is 1 1/2 blocks away but easy to get to and safe. The apartment is very well appointed, with every single thing you need, and the blue and white nautical/beachy decor was perfect for a harbor town. Contact with the owner/manager before we arrived was seamless; they responded to questions quickly. I loved this space and will stay here again next time I visit!!!

The property was very nice. Conveniently located and easy to access. Unfortunately, however, the AC units did not have enough capacity to cool the apartment, and when we had to sleep with the windows closed due to rain, the temperature was higher than we would have liked. Lastly, when we stripped the sheets as instructed, it revealed that the mattress pads and pillows were pretty dirty and didn't leave the best impression.

Lovely apartment in Boothbay Harbor

The apartment was very centrally located. It was clean and modern. The views from living room and kitchen were spectacular.Everything was in walking distance. There are few stairs to get to the apartment but that was no issue for us. The parking is also very convenient. We will visit again.

Big fans of Boothbay

This was our 5th visit to Boothbay as a family and our 2nd stay at this property. We absolutely love the central location, the house has everything you need, clean, and a/c units if needed. Oh and washer and dryer which is essesntial when traveling with kiddos in my opinion. I did notice some other mentioned the stairs to get up to the condo which didn’t bother us at all BUT could deter someone if stairs are a problem. We will be back!!! Thanks for hosting us!

Great location but very inconvenient logistics.

Fun location with great town & harbor views. But - Very inconvenient remote parking with no parking to unload/load luggage. Very steep 3 flights of narrow stairs. The AC is actually large noisy unsightly swamp coolers in each room. Cheap uncomfortable furniture & beds. And, they ask the renter to do most of the tasks of the maid crew, while still charging you for it.

Parking & bedroom size spoiled our stay

The smaller bedroom has a bed frame that does not allow passage on either side without constantly seriously bruising one’s legs. The provided parking is too far away for anyone using their car regularly or or loading and unloading. This should have been disclosed in the listing.

Perfect home-away-from-home

The pictures in the listing really do show what you are going to get when you arrive. There was plenty of space for all of us (2 adults / 2 school age kids) to be able to spread out and not be on top of each other. We enjoyed all the windows allowing us to view the area while we had our breakfast in the morning. All the beds were comfortable and the pull-out couch had one of the better mattresses on it that we have ever encountered. The location is right by all the shops, the foot bridge, and restaurants. Lots of great "sea-type" touches in the rooms without being overly done. Little extras were found in the closet: beach towels and a cooler for drinks/snacks so had it been warmer we would have used for the beach. The guestbook on the lobster trap table and little chalk board in the kitchen for leaving notes were enjoyable to read. The kitchen had all the cooking items and utensils we needed to make our meals which was key during this covid time. This home was perfect for us during a long weekend break. If we could have stayed longer, we would have! ------- Helpful hints for visitors to this home: If you have not stayed someplace like this and are used to only hotels, please remember that you are in the town in an apartment. You will hear street noise, conversations of shoppers, and the like so if you are used to living in a location that is very quiet, you may want to bring earplugs to help with sleeping. Not a problem for us at all, we've stayed in apartments on busy little streets in the past. There were others in the apartment below us and we never heard them. All the windows were great for us, but if you are used to having a hotel room with darkening drapes, you will want to bring along sleep masks to help keep the light from bothering you. This was not a problem for us, plus we loved all the natural light and being able to gaze at the people shopping. Again, remember this is an apartment and not a hotel - there are stairs you will need to climb to get into the home. Parking is about a block away and is off-street. There is 2hr parking by the apartment, so if you can find a space to unpack, great but if it's a busy time, parking will be hard to find in front of the door.

Great apartment on the main street in Boothbay Harbor. Close walk to excursions, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and shopping. Very Clean with everything you need. Parking included only a short distance away. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars on the Communication with Property Manager was because when I booked this via VRBO site the property's communication switched to Vascasa (different time zone from me and was given a general answer via email that was not helpful) and I was unable to talk to the local owner/manager of the property when I had a specific question. In my opinion VRBO should have been upfront with this before we booked. I realize this had nothing to do with the local owner/manager. I would definitely recommend this property, location, and owner as well as stay here again.

Lovely renovated property in the center of town

A lovely spot. Big kitchen and relatively large bathrooms for a rental; comfortable beds; central location (& not noisy). Nice water views from the kitchen. The only potential downsides to be aware of are the parking (2 blocks up the hill), the 3rd floor walkup, and the lack of a balcony. If you’re ok with that, it’s a terrific property!

Beautiful apartment with all amenities. Very clean and spacious. The Parking was a bit of a walk from the apartment and not the best. This place is in a very central location and quiet even though in the main part of town. My family and I enjoyed our stay in Boothbay Harbor!

Overall great

Overall a great experience, it’s spacious and has everything you need. A lot to unpack and a lot of stairs to walk up if you’re staying awhile with a family and littles, but we were prepared for that and wasn’t so bad since we stayed a few nights. A little disappointed with one of of the bathrooms, the lights did not work and the tub didn’t drain unless you physically held the drain up. There is a note from the owner of the property to call her if Vacasa doesn’t get back to you, but unfortunately we were a bit too busy to get in touch with her. The space is only listed with one full bathroom, but I inquired about there being 2 before booking and was not told that one did not function properly. Would also recommend turning the AC on if it’s a hot time of year when you arrive and going for a stroll to let the space cool down, it was almost 90 degrees in the space when we arrived since the unit is on the 3rd floor and it was very hot this week. It was really nice that one of the rooms is slightly separated from the rest of the space, when you enter there is a small vestibule with the entrance into the one room and an entrance into the living room, worked well for us as my mother stayed with us. Other than the few things mentioned about we had a great time, right in the heart of town. Was a great stay!

Hidden gem tucked above a charming bayside town!

This apartment was perfect. Once you climbed the stairs, you found yourself in a sunny spacious space with many windows snd beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed as well. It is directly in the middle of bustling Booth Bay, making it steps away from everything and get surprisingly quiet when you shut the door.

Apartment is bigger than it appears in the photos - the opposite of what one typically finds. More soaps and toiletries than in a hotel room. We could not find the towels, and contacted the local management team who replied to our text within 5 mins giving us the code for the owners closet....but then we found plenty of towels set out in the bathrooms so it was our oversight.Much better apartment and service than thru any other rental service!!

Great location, clean, and the perfect spot for our visit to Maine. The apartment had plenty of room to spread out and was well stocked. Parking was an easy walk down the road. We loved having the windows open and enjoying the ocean breeze and the sounds of the harbor.

Reviewer Comments: The "Admiral's Quarters" offers a great location in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, with shops, restaurants and tour boats just a brief walk from the property. Though not right on the waterfront, the property offers great views of the harbor. The property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only problem we encountered was that the washer stopped working mid-cycle on our last day there-- a bit of a hassle, but stuff happens. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

great view & location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: spacious, clean, great view of the harbor, bright with a lot of windows; room darkening shades, Air conditioning, washer dryer in the unit was a plus, plenty of hangers, cooler fir day trips, iron/board, tissues, plenty of comfy seating, wifi spotty (no existent) upon arrival and for > 24 hours despite efforts to resolve the night of arrival-we needed to work remotely and couldn't; 2 flights of stairs to the unit; outside door code is different than the code to the door to the unit. parking was great once we figured out where it was without wifi (opposite direction of the harbor). TVs need instructions IN the unit.
