Great Cape stay

We enjoyed staying here - convenient to beaches,, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, wonderful deck to hang out on for our many meals. Dog friendly and good communication with owners.

Comfortable house for family getaway!

This house was really comfortable for our 3-generation family getaway. We especially enjoyed eating meals and reading on the sunny deck. Property owner was very responsive to questions and clearly cared about the property. All in all, a good spot for both lounging around the house and access to beaches and delicious seafood!

A Wonderful Home in a Great Location

My husband, dog, and I stayed at this property for four nights. The house met all of our needs and was in a great location. The owner was wonderful to work with. I would absolutely recommend staying at this home and hopefully we will be back.

Home away from home.

The Nielsens were wonderful hosts. Their home was very clean and very comfortable. We felt very safe despite being in the midst of COVID-19. Host communication was excellent - from the moment Julie reached out when I made the reservation, I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. The instructions that were sent prior to arrival informed us of just about everything we would want or need to know. The location of this home is perfect, with Cooks Brook and Sunken Meadow beaches just a short bike ride away, National Seashore less than 5 minutes drive, a good selection of restaurants nearby, and shopping in P-town, Orleans, and Chatham. The home itself was very well-stocked with basic necessities; just as described. The yard was lovely. And the neighborhood was perfect for daily walks. This was our first stay at a Summer Breeze property. We have vacationed in Eastham at one particular home for two decades, but our former host sold to buyers who chose to become permanent residents. So it was with great trepidation that we engaged with the Nielsens. We were not disappointed! It felt like we were home and will definitely visit again.

Wonderful weekend

Everything about renting this property was a smooth process and the property is wonderful. We were up for a soccer tournament this weekend so spent a lot of time out of the house, but the game tables in the basement and the nicely furnished living room allowed us to be comfortable and entertained on a rainy afternoon. The house is immaculate and nicely furnished. I would definitely recommend it!

Very comfortable house

The house was set up perfect for me and my family. Julie was easy to get along with and answered all my questions. I texted her on a shelf in fridge and she had one sent out immediately. I would highly recommend this house for a family. I will be looking into staying again.

Incredible stay

Summer breeze was a beautiful property close to everything! Home owners were easy to contact and provided everything you could need . I loved the ease of having an outside shower and the kitchen was a cooks dream. Thank you for allowing my little dog to join us. I highly recommend this listing to anyone with a family.

Great location

Very nice house with plenty of space and everything that you need is available. Loved grilling on the deck; which has a nice big table. The owners are very attentive: made sure we received a new umbrella as soon as I sent a text message that the current one didn’t work well. Location is great, very close to the National Seashore beaches. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived to a welcome note, free frozen hot chocolate coupons, a bottle of wine, and Cape Cod chips! It was a very thoughtful touch and indicative of how important it is to the owners that you feel welcome. The location is great -- close enough to both a bayside beaches and the National Seahore Beach (Coast Guard) that you can easily bike ride to either. The property is clean , updated and comfortable with a nice size back yard and many game tables in the basement. Within 24 hours of arriving, the owners checked in with us to see if we needed anything. It was a lovely experience, and we will be back for a third time!

Fabulous Comfortable Stay

We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving, our family of 9 including grandchildren, arriving the day before and getting in a little "Black Friday" shopping without the frenetic mall scene the following day. The home was very comfortable,well cared for and equipped. The owners very accessible and helpful. The bottle of white wine and a welcoming card was a nice touch. We would stay again in a heartbeat and would enthusiastically recommend to friends.

Lovely cottage for a family getaway

The perfect Cape Cod cottage. Well stocked with thoughtful amenities and perfect for a family getaway. Close to the bike path, and mid-Cape beaches and well situated for sightseeing, shopping and walks on the beach at sunset. Newly renovated bathrooms, comfortable beds and a game room in the basement for the kids. We were able to bring our small dog and there is a large yard to walk him, also a quiet neighborhood for longer walks. A nice deck with table and chairs in a private back yard and a net for volleyball and badminton. And a gas grill with extra tanks in case one goes empty. We have rented a number of houses around the country and this one was one of the most well stocked with all the items you might need, with soaps (bathroom, dishwasher, laundry), toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and propane for the grill. The owners have thought of everything you might need and were a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful relaxing fall getaway.

This Eastham property was exactly as advertised!

This home was perfect for our weekend away. The home was clean, the information provided for arrival was accurate and we found everything we needed. It was wonderful to bring our dogs and the yard was perfect for children and dogs, Sunken Meadow beach was close by and if the weather was nicer would have been nice to enjoy. Some of our favorite National Seashore beaches are also very close to the property. Julie was helpful and very easy to deal with when we were finalizing our plans for the weekend. I would be happy to recommend this property to friends.

A Summer Breeze rental makes the perfect vacation

The Summer Breeze cottage we rent is very welcoming and clean. It has all the comforts of home, and we feel very relaxed during our stay. The owners are extremely nice and caring about our needs. I would recommend the Summer Breeze cottages to any of our friends. We are already planning our Cape Cod vacation for next year. The location is important to us, because we are close to the national seashore and the bay side so we have a choice of beaches.

Julie and Dave first came to the Cape in 2003 when they rented a vacation home with their family. They loved the ocean and walking on the bayside beaches, biking on quiet roads and scenic beauty, and frequently stayed at a local campground. In 2009, they founded Summer Breeze Cape Cod vacation rentals, which offers five private homes for rent in Eastham. Julie is a nurse, and Dave is a physical therapist. They are both serial renovators, performing much of the work themselves, along with Dave's parents. Their daughter, Michaela, is in middle school, and helps with projects as well. They live in southern New Hampshire, with their German Shepard and two feline siblings.
