The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Wonderful Condo

Upon arrival the place wasn’t welcoming. The location was nice and quiet but cleanliness was poor. Bed was sooo comfortable and I loved the day views.

loved the spot. i go to OC/The Golden Sands a few times throughout the year. best place down the beach imo. only complaint i have regarding this room is very, very little water pressure in the shower in the hallway bathroom…other than that. perfect!

Great layout of condo but….

Thank you for renting your condo to my family and I. It is a great set up for a family of 4. My biggest suggestions would be to clean out all used items in master closet and kitchen cupboards. Items like open sugar, used/open pop, broken toys, just junk. Items would provide more space for guests to unpack. Also, closet doors were mostly broken, bathroom rugs and area rugs should be replaced. Just go through and clean things out. Updates to kitchen, lighting, and fresh paint would really help to make this condo great!

The Beach View is Amazing!

The overall trip was enjoyable with gorgeous weather in the beginning of July! There were a few issues with the condo itself; from it being dirty, furniture missing or not the same as in the pictures and things not working or broken. The Golden Sands staff were amazing! They totally made our stay enjoyable and made us want to come back just to experience them. The amenities were great and convenient, as was the location. I would stay here again if I knew the problems were corrected. The beach view is amazing!

Great views

I think the views are what sell this condo. The 21st floor views of the beach cannot be beat. Outdoor seating was great for relaxing. We used the kitchen for a large breakfast with our whole group and had enough room for everyone inside as well. I would have given 4 or even 5 stars if the AC worked well in the bedrooms given it was 80+ and extremely humid. Bathrooms and furniture could absolutely be upgraded for comfort but other than that? We enjoyed our stay. The amenities like the private beach and Tiki bar on the deck are what will bring us back, probably just a different unit.

Lots of issues with a great view

The condo was not clean, mold in both bathrooms, dirty shower curtains, sand on the floor. Also one of the chairs was broken and the living room tv and dining room light were broken. Gorgeous views from the 21 floor.

Great Location

The location and bedroom sizes were Awesome!!! We were two couples and not having to decide who gets the bigger room was nice. The overall decor was dated, the entire place was poorly cleaned. Stains on the fabric of the couches. The bathroom showers had rusted plastic clips that hung the curtains. The issues that existed are definitely fixable it’s just unfortunate to feel you pay as much as you do for basic things to feel like an afterthought.

Not worth the money or experience

Furniture needs to be cleaned and patio chairs need to be replaced. Place overall needs a deep cleaning (I am an infection control nurse). Couch dirty, throw rugs need to be washed. Issue with bugs had to get a bug bomb and use it, then cleaned up the bugs. Leak in kitchen, leak in bathroom, alarms going off.....it was exhausting. The positive side the Tiki bar is great to get away from the bugs, leaks, alarms and dirtiness of the place.

This room was really nice. The views from the master bedroom are impeccable. I think it's a bit pricey for a family of two, but if you're sharing the room with another couple, it's doable. It just sucks because the second bedroom had no windows and no view at all. When we walked in, the room appeared to be clean and free from any sand which is always a plus. The kitchen was nice, however the cabinets could be a little more on the updated side. There was a lot of stuff left over from previous tenants, which is a very nice gesture, but me personally, I wouldn't use anyone else's things. The master bedroom was nice and clean, however there were no sheets that we could find, and no where in the listing did it say that you needed to bring your own sheets and blankets. Luckily I brought a few blankets from home. there was a pretty big brown blanket that we were able to use, but i'm sure that the blanket hasn't been washed in a long time. There were some stains on the blanket that I could tell that were more on the fresh side. I would have washed it myself, but the wash machine was on the smaller side and didn't fit anything other than a few shirts and a a hoodie or two. The bedroom also had some pretty bad blinds, they kept falling off the hooks and anytime the wind blew, they just fell right off again. There were so many missing, that if someone else was on the balcony they were able to see me get dressed. They should definitley be updated to something easier and usefull.

Condo needed some help. The vertical blinds in the living area and the main bedroom were in bad shape. Missing slats and would not close completely. Could not get the tv in the 2nd bedroom to work. Closet doors in main bedroom did not work. Not hung correctly and falling off. Closet doors for washer and dryer falling off. Not hung at all. Lamp in living area behind tv was atrocious.

The condo was amazing. The view, the beds, the kitchen, all amazing. There are quite a few things that need repair though. Dining room light doesent work, master bedroom has blow bulbs and the closet door is broken off. Terrible water pressure in the showers, the shower heads need replaced, curved shower rods wouldn't be a bad touch either. TV in living room was hard to manage with the 4 remotes. The toilet paper supplied with the room was garbage, we went and bought our own. Fans were dusty as were the vents In the bathrooms. The blinds in bothe the living room and master were really hard to use, really tight to pull. If these little things were fixed thay condo would be perfect.

Adequate. Old building that has been updated. Overall it was useable but needs some tweaking.

The back bedroom bathroom nearest door had absolutely no water pressure . Contacted Vasca and they kept telling me to click water pressure off and hold for a bit and restart. Hot water was not an issue but there was no water pressure though no problem in front bathroom . Concern because this has been issue in past and obviously never corrected. Originally very confusing placed confirmation thru Vrbo but then turned over to Vasca rental agency. Originally very poor communication. I do not think I would go thru this rental agency again. Also yes it said 21 st floor and it was. I definitely would not do that again. If you do not like heights as elevator takes you up but you walk outside to get to room .

Condo With a Spectacular View

This is a condo with a million dollar view. Golden Sands is a 4-star resort with fabulous amenities. When you rent this unit you are paying for that view. The unit is updated and neatly furnished but poorly maintained. There was no functioning light over the dining room table, so we ate in the dark. We reported it to VACASA, they never sent anyone to fix it. We would have enjoyed dinner on the balcony with the million-dollar view; but, one of the four chairs had the seat entirely broken, rendering it a useless obstacle on a relatively small balcony. The bathrooms are partially updated. The bathtubs are old and disgusting. The tiles appear to have mold. The shower curtain was filthy - both the decorative outer one and the inner plastic liner. The liners were flimsier than a plastic bag from Dollar Tree. That wouldn't necessarily be a problem if it was replaced between guests. It was not, and it was mucked with soap scum and residue from the previous renters. Other renters complained about the hot water heater. It hadn't been fixed. Two people could take quick hot showers. The other two either took cold showers or waited for the water heater to reset. Closet doors are missing. Light switches are difficult to find. Lamps and alarm clocks are just for appearance; the cords don't reach an outlet and there are no extension cords available to plug them in. We love Golden Sands, but we will not rent 2113 again.

Very Nice

Decor is nice and bright and is as pictured! Beds are comfy. Lighting in the master bathroom could be better. Overall, very nice condo.

Great quick get a way

The home was exactly as described and the photo's were current. We loved the building, staff and condo. The view was amazing!
