Excellent Spot for a Family Vacation

Saltwater Pines was perfect for our family vacation! It had everything we were looking for: extremely clean and well-maintained, a short walk to the beach, and a fully-stocked kitchen. All of the great food and activity recommendations from Alice and Mike made the trip unforgettable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The property was as pictured. We loved the pool, it was a great temperature. The house was well equipped, and VERY clean. Bonus points for that. We enjoyed the side porch on a rainy night. We have been to Corolla three times, and this was our favorite home. Easy access to the beach, all round, a great visit. The smoke alarm needed to be replaced, and the maintenance team responded very quickly and was so kind and friendly.

Amazing vacation home walking/biking to Corolla Beach

This was a great rental home in the Corolla/OBX area. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the home was even better than advertised. Just a short, pleasant bike ride or walk to the beach in a very pleasant neighborhood. The home's private pool was fantastic and perfect for an afternoon dip after returning from a day at the beach. There are patio decks (1 enclosed) on 3 sides of the home with seating to enjoy some relaxing quiet time with family or alone. Communication with the owner as well as the management company was quick and easy. I would love to stay here again!

Our family had a great vacation at Saltwater Pines. Home is located in a wonderful neighborhood with a nice walk to the beach. Great neighborhood for biking and walking paths nearby for a short walk to Corolla Park. Homeowners have thought of everything needed to make our stay relaxing. So many outdoor spaces to enjoy. Our family especially loved the salt water pool. Saltwater Pines is a gem and I would highly recommend it!

Excellent

Saltwater Pines is a beautiful, large home. We had 10 adults and never felt on top of each other. It had everything we needed and more. Close to stores and restaurants. My favorite part of the week----the large, clean and private swimming pool. It was the best. Looking forward to going back.

Great time at Saltwater Pines

The house is in a great location just a short walk to the beach. The house was well supplied with all the little extra things to make our stay very enjoyable and easy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals without having to purchase normally used spices or utensils. There is an ample supply of beach towels, beach chairs and other items to take to the beach to make packing easier as we did not need to bring these items from home. We had a great time and would stay at this house again!

Perfect accommodations for our spring break

The home and experience gets 5 stars. The rental company shines above others!! What a wonderful visit we had!! The place was sparkling clean, no exaggeration. We had plenty of towels and beach towels, too. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there and nicely warmed for our spring break. The pool had inflatables for adults and kiddos. The kitchen was stocked well - best of any vacation home rented over 4 decades. The porches and pool area had ample seating. And, although this point may not be important to all, there were plenty of throws around so we could snuggle where we sat, making for incredible family movie nights. Awesome place. Awe-mazing stay! OBX provides lots of breezes on the beach for flying kites, something we love. We'll be back, for sure.

Lovely home, good location, great saltwater pool

Good location for three-generation vacation; away from traffic and close to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with the usuals. Beds were comfy. Stairs are managable and not too numerous to get inside. Bag of sundries upon arrival from the rental agency was appreciated. Rental of beach chairs and wagon was timely, good equipment and clean. Great backyard around fenced in saltwater pool. The owners provided a notebook with tons of good information on the area, shopping and sightseeing. All in all, just what we needed for a great family vacation.

Beautiful home, great location

WOW this is a great house, in the perfect location, to do anything you want in the Outer Banks! The 5 bedrooms accommodated 5 couples easily. The Large built in pool with a heater right in the backyard, was easy to enjoy everyday, even at night! Less than 10 minute walk to the beach was fantastic to delight in the beauty of the ocean and to have fun in the sand! The house is close to grocery and souvenir shopping, making it easy to get anything you need. I loved that the home owners took into consideration their renters getting to the house easier with the Sunday to Sunday rental, we just took the Monday off after to help us recoup. Seriously we can't wait to go back! Thank you!

House was great and everything was so smooth with the rental company. Save time and money: call rental company directly and knock out middle man (Vrbo). Shoreline Realty is amazing to deal with.
