Beautiful property, great location

We had a fabulous vacation at this house. We filled it up - there were 16 of us - and we were all very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The house was within walking distance of a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed spending our days at the beach, it was easy to walk back and forth for meals, bathroom, rest, etc. The common areas of the house are very amenable to family time together. Orleans is a lovely town, and we were able to easily take a few day trips. We went to Falmouth to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, we went to Boston, and we went to Provincetown. The property manager was very easy to get a hold of and was responsive to all of my questions. We really didn't have any problems while we were at the house.

Cape Cod Dream Home!

"Stunning" is the perfect word to decribe this amazing home in East Orleans! Located on Nauset Beach, our group of friends gathered to relax and play. Whether it was taking a short walk through the easy path to the beach, playing games on the lawn, sharing our cooking skills in the open-concept kitchen, or sitting with a glass of wine on the deck gazing out to the vast Atlantic Ocean, we enjoyed every part of this well-maintained home in a quiet neighborhood. The spaciousness of the home enabled each the ability to gather with the group or find a quiet spot to read, knit, and relax. The central location of this home made it easy for day trips to other areas on the cape. Surrounding shops, sight-seeing, and the amazing restaurants were all within a short drive from "Stunning." The owner could not have been more helpful prior to our arrival and although we had no issues with the home, we felt we could be in contact and our needs would have been met immediately. This trip was a dream come true and staying at "Stunning" helped make this trip a perfect experience for all of us! We would definately stay again and would recommend it to all of our friends and family!

Family Get Together

We had a fabulous time sharing meals on the deck or at the large dining table! It was wonderful to be in a location that provided us easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. We experienced, glorious sunrises, whale and seal sitings from the soft sands of Nauset Beach. Our check in and check out process was seamless.. The house provided ample communal and private space for our group of 15.

Great location, nice house

Location can’t be beat. 5 minute walk to Nauset Beach. For the price, I expected the house to be a bit nicer. It was very nice but also very expensive and so I expected a bit more. Was not clear to us that two of the bedrooms are in the basement which was disappointing. House had all the plates, cups pots and pans, etc. The beds and other indoor furniture can use an upgrade, again, given the price. Check in and communication with property manager was great.

Cape Cod family reunion

My wife and I live in AZ, we have children and grandchildren living in Milwaukee, Green Bay and in Manchester, NH. Every summer we all gather at a location and spend a week together. This year we selected this property in Orleans, MA on Cape Cod. The home was very nice, with spectacular, unobstructed views of the Atlantic. Plenty of room for all of us (11 in total) ranging in age from 2 to 57, house is designed to allow us all to be together for meals, etc, but spacious enough to allow for separate areas for naps, reading.......plenty of things to do from beach walks, fishing, biking, boating, etc. A nice yard for lawn type games and a great pool table on days when Cape weather is a challenge. A terrific deck looking over the sea with a nice grille. Alex is a great host, extremely well organized which made our preparations very easy. Great property.

A beautiful, clean vacation home!!

We stayed at this beautiful home on Cape Cod in June 2019. It was very clean and well-appointed and the owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony. One thing that really stood out about this house is how there was enough seating to match the capacity of the house – 16 chairs both at the dining room table and on the balcony! That was very well thought out. The kitchen had more than what we needed, including plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware. We also really enjoyed the yard and how it was surrounded by trees so it was very private. We have stayed at a lot of rental homes, and this one was definitely the most private one. We never heard the neighbors because they aren’t as close by as they normally are in beach neighborhoods. The pool table was a nice amenity, as well. We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Cape Cod!

This house is so beautiful, and the view is truly remarkable. It doesn't get any better. The house has everything you could need and is so spacious. We really enjoyed our time. The owner is sweet and always there if you need her or have any questions. Would love to stay here again

Great spot off the beaten track but near everything. The neighborhood is delightful with easy access to Nauset Beach. Great for a family reunion or multiple family vacation. Nicely decorated and well maintained. We had a great week!!!

Wonderful home, wonderful experience. Very well equipped home right on Nauset Beach. The owner is extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Easily accommodated our 12 guests.

Perfect in every way!

We had family from Vancouver visiting and wanted to give them a bit of the Cape Cod experience, as they have never been. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay! The house was just what we wanted......luxurious, clean, roomy, close to the beach and an incredible view! We only had seven people in our group but the house is plenty big enough to accommodate a large group of people while still giving people their own space including 3 sitting rooms! The kitchen/dining/living room area is nice and open so that you can prepare meals while still being a part of the group. One night we had a typical Cape Cod lobster/steamers dinner and there was plenty of room for help in the kitchen. (I recommend the Chatham Pier Fish Market. It was a nice ride and the lobsters and steamers were excellent!) The dining room table is massive, I could picture a wonderful holiday meal for a group there! Bedrooms and bathrooms are big and nicely decorated. The expansive deck is a fabulous place to have meals, or sit back and bask in the view with a morning cup of coffee........heavenly! The yard is well manicured and big enough for your favorite lawn game. It's just a short walk to the beach where the dunes and ocean are breathtaking! Contact with the owner was seamless, I received quick responses to every inquiry. We left a couple items behind and the owner was very gracious and arranged the items to be mailed home to us. I highly recommend this home for a vacation stay! It is a fabulous home and you will make some wonderful memories staying there! Thank-you so much to the owner for sharing!!

Wonderful house for a large group of friends: space to be together; space for privacy

I have stage IV cancer & 6-12 months to live. My husband has a really great group of friends that have been together for many years. I grew up going to Wellfleet when I was a kid and am quite spoiled by the National Seashore/outer cape. When I got handed the 6 month news from my oncologist, we started looking into getting the group (husband & his lifelong friends and wives) together on the lower Cape. I found this house and everyone agreed! This house is easy to find, it is in a nice location to town AND has beach rights!There was plenty of living space so no one was in each other's way; multiple bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for privacy as well. Two living rooms on the main level provided people with space to talk/socialize, as well as for others to go read quietly in the other room --- the deck also helped with this. The path to the beach was a meandering one through shade and sun, on sand and grass, and had two benches so you could rest along the way. I was a bit tired at the end of the walk, but it was worth it. The beach and house are wonderful. You know when you go away with others, there is always that fear that there won't be any privacy --- this house eliminates any of that. The pictures do not do it justice! (I suggest a walk through video or a schematic floor plan) The 6 bedrooms are spread over three floors and with it's unique floor plan, sound does not reverberate - unlike other beach houses. Also, many beach houses can sleep a lot of people, but require couples to share rooms or the use of pull out couches and futons --- this house does NOT do that. We had five couples and we could have easily slept more people comfortably: but to be fair - if you were to fill the house with 16 people I would use this rule of thumb - one "family" per each of the 6 bedrooms. That way each family has his/her own space. There is a saying that fish and house guests start to smell after 3 days, well NOT IN THIS HOUSE!! I would say that 12 adults would be very comfortable in this house. We would stay here again, if my cancer allows me to see another spring/summer. Highly recommended! You do need to bring your own beach chairs & beach umbrella. Perhaps a wagon to carry beach equipment? Also: unlike all other beach paths I have been down, I not see any poison ivy on the walk! Tick repellant is a must, though. Enjoy your stay, we certainly did! Thank you! P.S. Wifi was a must for us and this signal was strong!

Stunning house in great location

I've just reserved a week in July 2017 at this wonderful house. It will be the 4th year that my extended family has stayed here. Three generations have enjoyed the beach, the deck, the yard and the kitchen. Walking to the beach is a treat and coming back to an impeccably clean and well-maintained home makes for an easy and comfortable vacation.

Great location and home

Great place....the set up of the home can accommodate many people or just a few comfortably. The location has easy access to the beach and beautiful views of the ocean. The home was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. I've rented from the owner in the past, but at a different location and found the owner to always be reliable, professional, and helpful. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Impressive home, spectacular beach, great owners!

This home was perfect for our family and friends to all enjoy together. The property was very well cared for and we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. Houses are not right on top of each other so you have privacy. Very short walk to picture perfect beach. Seals were fun to watch! House has a great layout so all can enjoy togetherness in the great room or quiet time away. Dining room was great and could accommodate all 16! Designer kitchen made it easy for all to help prepare meals. Large brand new webber grill was a treat. Bathrooms were all very up to date and VERY clean. Designer master bath with huge shower was awesome. everyone was taking turns in our bathroom for the shower! Deck was large with a great view of the dunes and ocean. Ease of access to grocery stores and shopping and fried clams allowed more time on the beach! I highly recommend!

Repeat visitor

I've just reserved a week in August 2016 for a vacation with my extended family. This will be our third year in this wonderful house. We appreciate the improvements made every year to a house that really doesn't need any improvement! But the addition of a 5th bathroom is great. Wonderful location, well-equipped house, what more could you want?

Cape Cod dreaming!!

After many years being back in good old Switzerland, we came back with our children, their partners and 4 grandchildren to spend a summer vacation at Cape Cod, Orleans MA close to Nauset Beach. The house was just the ideal spot and perfect for all of us. Well-equipped and very spacious for 10 people. We especially liked the beautiful deck with stunning views of ocean and dunes, the privacy and the opportunity to walk directly from the house and have easy access to Nauset Beach. We would definitely stay there again!!

We had a wonderful family reunion at this house. It provided a perfect venue for our gathering. Best of all was the deck with the great views of ocean and dunes, serenaded with birdsong complementing the surf in the distance.

Great for a large crowd!

We rented this beautiful house for 8 couples to stay in for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend. This house was perfect for all of us! It was very clean and everyone had their own space. The views were beautiful and it was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

Great house!

Three generations gathered in this lovely home on Nauset Heights. We have stayed in this area in the past, but never in as well-equipped and gracious house. Walk to the beach, sit on the deck and listen to the surf and just relax. Plenty of room to be together for meals and games but to get away from each other when you desire: younger folks to play pool on the first floor, watch TV in the family room or have a conversation in the living room. Comments on Nauset Beach: You have easy access to the public Nauset Beach (without having to fight for a parking place) with lifeguards and the fabulous onion rings at Liam's. But you also have direct walking access to the connected private beach which has no lifeguards but has the benefit of privacy and fewer crowds.

Balm to the Soul

One can use a list of supelatives to describe this property, but that misses the fact that the view from the patio is balm to the soul. Having front row seats to the ever-changing colors and patterns of the Atlantic Ocean made our stay memorable. Our children enjoyed this home for other reasons: spacious rooms, proximity to Nauset Beach & snacks at Liams, friendly neighbors, inviting yard, and the first-class amenities. The owner was unobstrusive and yet readily available if a question or need popped up. We were delighted with our stay.

We visited every possible beach on Cape Cod. Nauset Beach was unusual. It is a very long beach, but yet steps away from this house. I love walking on the beach. The tidal differences are so large, that is provides you a nice solid surface to walk on. You can walk for miles and drink in the ever changing view.

We were lucky to find a house, where we could just sit there and be able to listen to the waves and drink in the view without even leaving the property.

We also wanted a very contemporary home, that was spacious and one that would provide a lot of privacy. The Cathedral ceilings with an open architecture were a must for large group gatherings. When I called the realtor and described the ideal home to her, she said there was one on the market and we dropped everything to go view it and made a decision to purchase it upon viewing the property.

The house is welcoming, it is furnished without any clutter so that you can relax and truly experience the best asset of Cape Cod which is the National Seashore. It is majestic and yet powerful.

The house has ample space to spread out and enjoy privacy. The living areas are large and welcoming. The bedrooms are large.

The house has a lovely spacious yard that invites you to enjoy a game with family or friends.

It is calming to watch the waves and listen to them.

If you enjoy surfing, mid to high tide it is a great time to surf, if you enjoy calm waters for a swim... go out at low tide. You can access the tidal chart at my website.
