Christine was such a lovely host, and Friendship Cabin was an amazing place for us to stay with our kids. They really have everything you need for outdoors (bocce, canoe, kayak, life jackets, grill, fire pit). Indoors, the cabin is cozy and will make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s home, not in a sanitized/corporate hotel room. The vibe here is quaint/cozy, and Christine’s charm is always on hand to help out if something is missing. (Also, Christine, your bread is amazing!)You won’t be disappointed by your stay in Maine if you book this cottage!

Wonderful lakeside retreat

We stayed 5 nights with our family of 4 and my sister and brother-in-law. The cabin, property and lake were a perfect place to relax, swim, kayak, fish and unwind. We went for a hike nearby and spent most of our time on the lake. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

We just got back from an amazing long weekend at Christine and Mike’s property. It was extremely relaxing and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the pond with all the amenities the property offered (dock, kayaks, etc). Christine is the best host I’ve ever encountered and went out of her way on numerous occasions to help us and especially our children. The lake is right across the dirt road and there is a great sandy beach with a playground down the road, all easily accessible. We will certainly be back!

High School reunion getaway.

We weren’t sure about a 6 week rental when we first booked this cabin but as the weeks went on we found ourselves wanting to stay longer! It’s such a cozy little cabin equipped to the hilt with anything and everything you could possibly want or need. Michael and Chrissy are the ultimate hosts and check on you to make sure you have everything you need. It’s just a walk across the road to their dock with chairs waiting for your morning or evening relaxation. Long Pond is so beautiful. We had a glorious time!

Friendship Path Cabin, Roam Maine

Very pleased with the property and area. Long pond is just across the street and there is a private pathway leading down to a compact, but quiet dock with seating. Beautiful views of the lake from there. The property owners, Christine and Michael were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property for a one or maybe two couples-max. Peaceful area and this home is perfect for people who just want to decompress, read a book and take a break from the rat race. Thick woods surrounds three sides of the home. There is one decently sized bathroom located on the 1st floor with a walk-in shower. If you're looking for a party palace, this property is not for you.

Michael, my beloved husband is no longer by my side.
We were married 40 years.
He has now gone home to be with the Lord in March 2025

Our beloved cabin was not rented that year, but I’m trying to make a go of it again because that is what he would have wanted
And ask for your patience with me as the yard may not be as perfect as I would like it tobe, but my home is clean and immaculate and loved. I put every ounce of my strength into making sure that everything is perfect upon your arrival.
I have help with my friends
Thank you for choosing my home, looking at my ad and hope you find a place to come for many years
